I had excellent service throughout my Invisalign journey. They were very accommodating for appointments which was helpful since I'm only in the area to see my family at certain times. The Invisalign worked great and I was able to submit photos of my teeth through the app where they can review my progress and approve me to the next tray. I've been here for cleanings, fillings, and in the process of Invisalign. Front waiting room is nice, desk staff is always friendly and fast, the medical staff is great, and the docs are top notch. I think a new epidemic has broken out in our county and we should have an emergency quarantine declared. People should be required to wear snap locks on their wallet pockets and purses when visiting dental offices. No dentist I have visited seems to be immune from it, even dentists i have known and trusted since the early 1990's. It's called greedy dentist syndrome or "get back all money I lost during the coronavirus" complex. I just didn't like the hygienist finding thousands of dollars worth of crowns and fillings to do even before my teeth were cleaned. I think that's the job the licensed best dentist is supposed to do. read more

Not requiring masks in waiting area and receptionist never wore mask. (May 2022) Looking for another dentist. Addendum: on the same day I received an apology because of this review by email from Dr. Brown. He indicated they were not aware masks were required in non clinical areas but they reviewed the guidelines, discovered I was right and they are now requiring masks and have posted signs. However it has been over 2 months since the indoor masking guidelines changed so they appear to have been out of compliance for quite some time. Still looking for a new dentist. read more

Brand new, just a month in Carmel Mid Town, however has an additional office in Monterey. COST FRIENDLY. ALL NEW TECHNOLOGY, a little Sting, John Meyer, coffee shop tunes. Apparently you can watch movies too. A very clean modern renovation. Spa like. Professional staff, OUTSTANDING! Efficient and friendly. He used only "locals" to help build the establishment. My husband had an appointment later that day, I didn't tell him my experience because I wanted to hear his response. He had the same reaction. Highly recommended, just sayiń. read more

Can't and shouldn't judge a book by cover. Fancy lobby and expensive equipment gets passed on to the patient. They told us they took our insurance, no out of pocket for routine.They didn't. The biller needs to take some classes.They even upcharged the services, as punishment for using insurance.The hygienist thinks she's a doctor, misspeaking several times. Just because people are "nice" doesn't mean they are integrious or qualified. To top it off, they don't run on time.... Hard to find a good dental office in Monterey. Dr. Brown and his staff are fantastic! The hygienists are particularly sweet and gentle, while being very thorough. Dr. Brown is super friendly. My 7yo and 9yo kids have also been seeing him for a few months and actually look forward to their appointments... They even ask to go visit Dr. Brown when they haven't been in for a while! The office is pretty and while I'm no expert, seems to be on top of technology, with fancy equipment and email/text reminders for appointments. EVERYONE is so friendly, Jenny did my cleaning, was super friendly, explained everything really well, showed me my x-rays, pictures they took, and pointed out problem areas, etc. really well and planned out a "treatment plan" for me to get my oral needs met, within the realm of what's covered in my insurance! I was looking for a dentist that accepted Tricare and was told by everyone I asked to go to Dr. Brown. The office is really nice, professional and the staff are all very friendly and fantastic. Both hygienists I've had clean my teeth were super friendly and efficient and Dr. Brown is also really friendly and welcoming. I usually hate the dentist but it's much more bearable at Dr. Brown's. Amazing customer service! Dr. Brown was great with me and my teenage son. He works quickly and really listens to what was going on. Dr. Brown put an an onlay (instead of a crown) on one of my wife's teeth that held for a little over two years! The tooth needed a crown after the onlay broke and fell. We payed Dr. Brown over $600 co insurance for the onlay, and, ended up paying a full price ($1200)for the new crown. Calls to Dr. Brown's office in an attempt to arrange for some resolution were not answered!! My wife has crowns that ted almost 20 years!!! Lousy Job on the onlay and even worse customer service! AWESOME DENTAL OFFICE!!! My family and I are new to the area and Dr. Brown's office was recommended as the "go to" dental office . Although it is not the closest office to where we live, I decided to give it a try because of all the great reviews I had heard and read. I was not disappointed! From the moment I called to make our appointments I was treated warmly and professionally. The two women in the front office were extremely nice and knowledgeable, the hygienist was so thorough and she educated me on things about my dental health that no other hygienist (or dentist, for that matter) has ever told me before. I had several cavities, so on my second appointment I got to experience how gentle and engaging Dr. Brown is and how wonderful and helpful his assistants are. I have been a patient of Dr. Brown for only a few months now and I must say I always have the most wonderful experience. Everyone is so kind and helpful and always so pleasant to interact with. The office itself is so cute with tasteful modern decor. My last appointment was for a routine filling replacement. First, Vicky and I had a great laugh once settled in the room. It was a such a great ice breaker for the anxiety I was having. Then, I realized I had forgotten a hair tie, and the hygienist in the hallway overheard and offered up her extra one. So sweet. Vicky then offered me headphones to listen to music throughout the procedure which would have been AWESOME had my phone not died. At that point Vicky went and found a charger for me to use!
