My primary sent another referral, listed as STAT. Called Upper Cumberland today to confirm and verify the referral only to be told that TENNCARE insurance holders have a waiting list til November........Sure wish someone called me 6 months ago when the first referral was sent, because I've called many times only to be told "We will get in touch and make an appointment"...... Disappointed is an understatement with how I'm feeling right now.

87 Yo grandmother was referred to Upper Cumberland ENT by PCP. Got a random text with appointment…read moredate and time from the ENT. Called the office and spoke to a very nice receptionist that actually moved the appointment up due to the pain. Got another call at the end of business day on Friday that the Monday morning appointment is cancelled because they don't treat "Jaw Pain" and that she needs to see her dentist. I explained that she has already saw her dentist and that this is not jaw pain related that it's in her neck and the rude lady explains that it's still TMJ related. It was very evident that they just didn't want the appointment. Regardless I just wanted to give a review due to the extremely rude/careless call that I got to cancel the appointment.
