I migrated to the salads and was going to check out fruit but my husband drug me over to all the fast foods I was trying to avoid. No will power here. They had a lot to choose from. I picked up a small bowl of Mac n Cheese and an angus burger. I handed everything to my husband to check out as I needed to head to the restroom. He dropped the Mac n cheese and it scattered when it hit the floor. I felt bad for him and grabbed another Mac n cheese while I hi-tailed it to the restroom. An employee was marking down sweet rolls so my husband grabbed a couple for himself. He had an apple Fritter and a peanut person and said they were alright. I had a night of the Persian and it was still moist and fresh with ample Chopped peanuts on top of a creamy white frosting but it was a little too sweet for me. The staff working were friendly and accommodating. Int angus beef hamburger was tasty as I had a lot of toppings to choose from like onion, tomato slices, dill pickles etc. The man-n-cheese was a bummer because when I opened it, it was mashed potatoes and gravy. It was tasty but I wanted Mac-n-cheese. . After my husband dropping and spilling the first container of Mac-n-cheese and the second container being mashed potatoes and gravy instead, I guess the universe was trying to tell me something. This is probably one of my favorite Quick Trips I have been it. Even the energy in the store was positive. Unfortunately this was the first time we had ever traveled this way but if we do find our way in this area again I would purposely stop here. I'm sorry I did not take any pictures but we had a long 9 hours at a golf tournament in 90 degree weather and had been traveling almost 2 hrs after to get to our next destination.

(not our typical experience of a gas station convenience store). Wandered back to the food service area, we were surprised to find a made-to order deli counter. The staff at the sandwich counter was very attentive, allowing us to taste the pepper mayo before deciding on it, AND asking if we wanted our shared sandwich cut on a diagonal or straight!!! I mean.....there are 5-star restaurants that don't have this level of service! I give 'em credit - these guys lead the way on local gas prices. I was conscientiously watching gas prices driving through the peninsula just for familiarity if nothing else. On 10-13-2022, this place had the lowest price period, at $3.699/gal for 87 regular, and for a major brand to boot. On the following day, 10-14-2022, I noticed several stations in a multi-mile radius dropped their prices by about 10 cpg to match, woot woot. $3.699/gal was still holding though as lowest in the vicinity. Kudos, Parv J, kudos. I'll visit again sometime.
