I also took it back to show the lady...all of a sudden she couldn't understand me, gas lighted me accusing me of bringing in a different dress (not the original) and told me she didn't do this work! She is awful! Workmanship is unacceptable and I had to have it re-hemmed elsewhere. AVOID Binh's tailoring! Please don't make the same mistake I made. I'm now hearing more and more people who have had similar experiences with Binh's. How they are still in business I have no idea. And her cash only policy is not forthcoming or honest. When I went back on the date she specified the curtains were to be ready, they were not done, she wanted two more weeks. She asked for clarification of what I wanted. I explained again and wrote it down on the order slip. I came back in two weeks. Guess what she had ready for me? A bunch of curtains each 18 inches in length. Totally ruined! She barely speaks English, so maybe she can sew buttons on but do NOT expect much of this service. She never apologized either. Nothing.

We were both told it would be an extra $30 each for overnight. Since when do you charge the customer when you make the mistake. When we talked he was very adamant that the extra charge was going to happen even though the suit size was wrong. How can I argue when the wedding was the next day. I got my bridesmaid dress altered -- needed the length altered, the top loosened, the straps…read moretightened, and bra hooks added inside the straps. They were thorough about the alterations needed and their service was fantastic. I went to them in the first week of August and they had the dress ready in three weeks, in time for the wedding. While the dress wasn't ready when I went in, they kindly delivered it home as I couldn't go back the next day. Regarding the price, they did charge me a higher amount than expected (I'm a graduate student on a limited salary), they were better priced than the other places I checked out. Also, they are a cash-only place. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I'm glad I chose right! And a huge thanks to my friend who recommended them.
