I met Kristen almost 2 years ago when I was relocated for work to Woodland Hills and searching for a restorative yoga class. Little did I know that first class would be the beginning of a transformation journey. I came to learn Kristen was also a hypnotherapist & Reiki master (among other talents). Having done therapy on/off throughout the years to cope with childhood trauma, a divorce and life saving medical surgeries later in life, I decided to try "a few" hypnotherapy sessions. It really only takes being in the same room as Kristen to feel how powerful she is.. I first met Kristen in one of her Kundalini yoga classes. Unlike many yoga teachers, Kristen establishes connection with every one of her students, and is incredibly knowledgeable, down to earth, funny, and easy to talk to. Long story short, I left the class delightfully surprised, feeling very high, clear-headed, and calm. I had been to many a yoga class in LA, and finally had found what I was looking for. The next week, I booked a session to do past-life regression. I had never done it before, and was definitely curious and a little bit skeptical. Kristen helped me reach a deep trance-y state, and I began to see real images. The visualizations were so clear I was having trouble keeping focused, as I was distracted by the details and the beauty surrounding where I was. Eventually, I was able to go back and heal the trauma in my past life, which healed my symptoms in my current life-- immediately. My review is 2 yrs overdue. What an amazing experience I had with Kristen during my 2nd pregnancy. Met her at her yoga class (which was amazing btw) and as soon as she mentioned hypnotherapy, I knew I had found my guidance to finding peace within myself. I was on edge during my 2nd to 3rd trimester knowing what to expect and Kristen continuously provided me the comfort I needed to get through. Meditation is a difficult task but with her, I learned how to do just that even for a short time. I listened to her voice on repeat ( literally, from my phone) during my delivery and she got me through it by reminding me to trust the nature of my body. 15 hours later after induction, the calmest newborn came out like he just woke up from a nap (lol). I truly believe my relaxed body and meditated mind helped me a great deal to deliver such a calm beautiful being. Thank you again Kristen for listening and tending to my needs. As most people hate Mondays, I look forward to them because i will not miss power yoga with Kristen. i have been taking her yoga classes 3 times a week for almost a year now. i never thought i would like this type of a class, but i love it! Kristen has an insane ability to transport my mind to whatever it is she is speaking about. i close my eyes and am instantly so in-tune, so grounded with myself. she teaches how to connect both mind and body which i believe is so important. its so amazing to learn the physical ability that my body has! I'm amazed with every posture we do. she has changed my life, her yoga classes, or as she corrects us "our yoga" classes, are a form of therapy for me. I have learned so much from her. i am the first in the room and i place my mat basically on top of hers in hopes of gaining every drop of insight and knowledge she gives. she has such a beautiful energy about her and shes so kind and caring of all of us. when i leave her class i feel great, and i find myself constantly thinking positively and implementing everything she preaches to us. i feel blessed to have met her and will probably take her classes forever! read more

I went to Kristen's Yoga classes at Inner Power Yoga in Woodland Hills. The BEST PRENATAL YOGA class ever. Kristen is AMAZING. This class is not only a prenatal yoga class, but also a preparation for birth class. I started going to class at 13 weeks pregnant just to 'get more flexible' but got so much more out of the class. I went at least once a week up until 39 weeks pregnant. I had my baby two weeks ago and my labor and delivery was only 3 hours and I am a first time mom. I truly believe that going to this class, as well as doing my 'homework' and yoga poses at home influenced my pregnancy and recovery in the most positive way. I learned my body, was attuned at the mental practice that goes into pregnancy and delivery, and was able to adjust and practice all my yoga poses throughout pregnancy (and during labor) to make me feel more comfortable. Please do yourself a huge favor and attend this class consistently. Give it a chance, every class is somewhat different as Kristen adjusts the class based on the needs of the students. Each class session is slightly different, therefore, you are always learning something new. My mom and sisters were amazed at my 3 hours, no epidural, hospital delivery and as well as my recovery (I'm almost at my pre pregnancy weight) and they also think it's from all of my 'marathon training' aka my yoga classes, additional Pilates, and walking that helped my body truly prepare for my little cute yoga baby who just came right out. He did yoga with me for 6 months so I truly think my little one was prepared to come out as well. Please go to this class!!! (P.S. I had never done yoga prior to this class, so it is for all levels.
