We worked with JT (Jonathan Thrall) for a few months and ultimately decided to find another…read moretherapist at a different practice. JT is incredibly kind and well-intentioned, but the therapy felt one-dimensional. Sessions largely focused on validating feelings without providing structure, tools, challenge, or actionable guidance - all of which I repeatedly asked for. Given that this therapy was priced at the higher end of what we've seen, we expected a much deeper level of engagement and clinical depth. I consistently expressed that I did not feel understood, and that concern never felt meaningfully explored. The turning point came when JT continued asking the same questions and implied that I wasn't going deep enough. When I asked him to take a different approach and ask more thoughtful probing questions, he responded by asking me what I thought he should ask instead. That felt backwards. If he is the trained professional, I don't believe it should be my responsibility to determine how we get deeper in session. He also seemed dismissive of modalities like the Gottman Method and Nonviolent Communication, as well as the self-work I was doing independently. Despite repeatedly asking for homework or guidance between sessions, none was provided. We were looking for stronger direction and more skill-based, structured work, which is why we chose to move on. We're very happy with our new therapist, who also practices EFT but brings a broader, more versatile approach rather than relying on a singular method.

I have been a client of Estelle's since 2015 with some breaks during this time due to life changes. When I first began seeing Estelle, I saw her in person at her office which was comfortable. I no longer live in Colorado, so now Estelle and I meet virtually. I am on a very regular appointment schedule, however, she has always remained flexible when accommodating appointment changes. Estelle has and continues to work with me through a variety of issues (PTSD, queer relationships, grief with relationships ending, marriage, self-improvement, religious changes), and I never felt judged or treated differently. Instead, I've always felt extremely safe with Estelle no matter the topic. I easily can say that my life has been changed for the better by Estelle's presence. She celebrates with me when things are good, and provides light at the end of the tunnel when things are hard. She isn't clinical and dry. Estelle is warm, invested, and appropriately humorous. I attended sand stone when I was 14 years of old due to depression. The main therapist that led the…read moregroup therapies took a very hostile approach that lacked empathy and gentleness which I believe are qualities almost every therapist should have in one way or another. She called me lazy in our individual sessions for being too depressed to clean my room and would belittle my mom in group therapy sessions. If this approach works for people, it did for some, I would recommend this center. However, going into an environment like sandstone at 14 when everyone else is older, and receiving that hostile treatment from someone who I was told was going to support and help me was confusing, scary, and isolating at such a young age. As cliché as it sounds, I can honestly say that working with Lindsay changed my life. Who am I…read morekidding? With the tools and insight she provided over our 18 months working together, she's continuing to change my life. I sought out counseling services when life felt unbearably bleak, difficult, and dark. I came in, grasping for control and hoping for a quick fix, which in hindsight is utterly laughable. I think if I knew how much baggage I needed to unpack and how much "inside" work it would take, I never would have begun the process, but with Lindsay's gentle and steadfast guidance, I was slowly but surely able to pull myself out of the weeds. With her help (and a lot of healthy work), I've found my voice and have begun to thrive in a visceral, sustainable and powerful manner- what a gift she has given me! Lindsay is thorough, receptive, non-judgmental, open to talking about therapy within therapy (so meta, I know), insightful, funny, wise, kind, gentle yet straightforward, and very easy to talk to. She questioned and helped me dig when I needed to be pushed and gave me space when she recognized that I needed to come to my own conclusions. The way she approaches counseling is thoughtful and intentional, but never calculated, which is invaluable. I had a dentist that literally gave me my first…read morepainless dentistry; I was struck, and for the first time going to the dentist was actually pleasant with pleasant conversation and a great atmosphere However when I came in this time, the new dentist I had for the second time in a row... actually didn't do anything for me. The UC health system did not give them permission to do my teeth BUT Stride's medical team are some of the best ... and the price is right. The Dental Care I received there was wonderful.... Blow is very disappointed. I went there twice and they didn't work on me because of my primary care physician. I was shocked and wondered what some doctor at the University of Colorado health system had to do with my teeth. I was getting the best dental care of my life at Stride... plus better medical treatment with the doctors there than I had received elsewhere. . Part of the problem may be tentacles from the University of Colorado Hospital or their system. Even though Stride is unrelated to UCH, they sometimes will not take patients if their physician is located with the UC health system and doesn't approve When I came in for their dentistry , then I had minor problems that weren't finished and I wasn't able to come in again for about two years, and by then my teeth were pretty much shot. However, if you look up A F Williams, you'll find they have a rating of only 1.8 overall, which is the lowest in the United States or close to it. After all, how could anyone get a rating of 1.8 unless you're having your medical treatment done at the chicken farm. Patients aren't happy there at all. According to the John Hopkins University, and the CDC., doctors mistakes would be the third leading cause of death in America (doctors insisted the CDC stop listing them as a cause of death, even though they were almost the major cause of death in the US ... they thought it made doctors look bad .... The actual truth was pretty insulting and degrading for doctors killing people ... and scared the hell out of me ). Doctors kill 251,000 people a year... that's a lot of dead people!! It's more than all the murderers in the United States put together. These are just the ones detected ... these are mistakes made by doctors that kill you just as sure as they beat you to death with a hammer or shot you in the throat with a firearm... the main difference is doctors are much more deadly than professional killers or all the killers in the United States put because they actually kill more people than all the murderers combined "...a dental patient dies about every other day in America, according to a first-of-its-kind estimate by The Dallas Morning News. It is surely a rough calculation. It is based on data from one state, Texas." Texas is the only state that requires reporting dental deaths and the standard of dentistry is often very low. It's not uncommon for a dentist to pull the wrong tooth for example. Why don't other states require the reporting of dental death? Maybe you found out ONLY because it was a celebrity who died... for example the comedian and sometimes host for the Tonight Show died as a result of a dental error... no one would've known about it if it hadn't been for the fact that she was famous and it made it on the news if you read the book, "The GoodNurse" .... There was a serial killer there that they estimate killed 300 people. And that was just the one they caught, but the hospital knew.... Both doctors and staff knew what was happening there. No one did anything; they just let the nurse kill people.... many just for complaining or because the nurse didn't like them. A new doctor arrived and reported what was going on at this particular hospital .... And it wasn't just that the nurse killed 300 people that wouldn't have died if they hadn't been at the hospital ... but the hospital staff seemed to think that it was OK, leaving one with a feeling of helplessness. And for doctors's mistakes killing 251,000 patients at least ... how many of these were intentional murders? The healthcare industry has much to be desired, and I certainly didn't appreciate some doctor preventing me from getting dental care simply because they're on the staff of the university of Colorado Health system.!!

They want you to use the app for all your communication needs, but it can be days to weeks before anyone responds. * When I have been told I'll receive calls for scheduling follow-up appointments or prescription information, they never happen. It's like there is simply no accountability. Care: * Everyone seems rushed to churn through as many patients as possible, and I wonder how this affects the quality of care. Service: * Do not schedule appointments here unless you can wait 4-6+ weeks for a visit. This includes 15-minute telehealth calls. * Telehealth calls are just as expensive as in-person visits. * Prescription refills and requests can take up to a week or even longer if they need approval.
