He has one room dedicated to hardware and small odd parts, has a lot of porcelain/glassware, and a large number of antique doors. Also has a variety of other things. What's really fabulous is when he gets in some of the really rare, museum-quality pieces he gets that I have no idea where he gets so many of from time to time! At one point he had a magnificent 19th century oil painting portrait of a child AND had the dress the child was wearing in the portrait to sell with it! He had a magnificent collection of antique dolls he sold - 2 of which were featured on the Antique Road Show when they came to Cobo Hall in Detroit - one of the dolls was valued at $25,000-30,000. Another time he had a couple of great 19th century samplers I'd likely have bought, but he'd already sold them to a local doctor. Worth stopping if just to chat with the owner and then head across the street to this great Chinese restaurant he recommended to us that we went back to because the food was so good.
