First time I went, apparently her A/C was out. She frantically informed me of what the temp was in the store and that she needed to get home. OK. I get it. Visit #2. No greeting. OK, the owner was busy at the counter with a customer. I cruise the premises. Customer leaves, returns with husband. It was pretty classic so I commented on it. No response. They have some nice things, mostly reasonably priced. 3rd time. I'm def looking for something specific. Figured I'd ask when I got in. Well,, no greeting again. This time she was totally engaged with another woman at the register...the entire 15 min I was in the store. I scoped out the entire perimeter again, was going to get in a question or two, but these ladies were talking about school and their kidz... I'm a #GrievingMom and a retired SpEd teacher, so OK, AGAIN. As I approached the exit, I hear, "Did you need help looking for anything?" My response, "A little late to ask"., and I walked out. I am a SuperThrifter. I've been collecting vintage clothes for over 50 years. I love small consignment shops because they usually have some of the local charm and people who love what they do. I have mixed emotions on whether it was a good interaction or not. I would say generally not a good…read moreinteraction. I arrived to purchase handgun and it was extremely crowded in the store. That was due to the day before opening day for deer season so that was understandable. While browsing I had a gentleman come up ask me if I needed help and I said yes we went to the counter and I started looking at handguns. While he was showing them to me he walked off and started to help other individuals up and down the counter. Maybe they were understaffed for the day I'm not really sure what the problem was. Finally when I made my selection of a handgun, laser sight and a holster I was ready to check out. I know that I needed to fill out paperwork for the purchase of the handgun and that's when I was informed that due to some problems that they were having, they didn't have a license to sell me a handgun. I had to go to an off-site location 20 miles away to fill out the paperwork to purchase the weapon and that they would bring it to me within a half hour or so . So after the transaction was rung up I found out that because I used a debit card to pay for the transaction I was charged a $30 credit card fee instead of using cash. I was not informed of that would happen prior to the transaction. So I went to the off-site location and i filled out the application turned it in and was approved instantly. Then I waited 2 hours for the gun to be delivered. It cost me to be late for a follow-up appointment I had a location 40 MI away. Had I known this is how the whole transaction was going to go , I would not have driven an hour and a half to get to that store to make the purchase. I would have gone to a different store, been able to purchase the product in a timely manner, receive it at the time of purchase and I had to pay a fee to use a debit card to make the purchase . For those of you wanting to make a purchase there I would be very careful on making the purchase and check ahead of time on What charges you're actually going to receive and if you can actually do the paperwork there at the store. I did walk away with what I wanted but I was very displeased on how the whole transaction happened . ​

Initially sent me the wrong firearm. Called and they validated that the wrong firearm was sent…read more Immediately apologized and stated that they were sending my FFL a return shipping label and immediately shipping the correct firearm that day. Fast forward a week and another employee states that the correct firearm is sitting at the store still with a note stating to ship it once the other firearm is returned. I call my FFL to get an update about shipping back the incorrect firearm and they state that they are still waiting for Randy's Hunting Center to send the return label. I am awaiting Randy's Hunting Center response to this, but this is already extremely unacceptable business behavior and practice.
