By watching Michelle and listening to her advice and instructions Boo has improved and has been fairly steady. I now do his daily meds and Michelle visits weekly for his B12 shot and can give fluids if/when it comes to that. She give him lots of hugs and kisses too. I didn't understand what they proposed for diagnostics (I told her I did not agree to everything on my bill) I was consumed with concern for my cat and ended up making the mistake of not asking to see what they proposed in writing nor did they offer me written estimate cost of services before they took my cat away from me for imaging/blood tests. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO. I was in sticker shock at the end. I attempted to dispute the charges, but they adamantly state I verbally agreed to all of the charges and countered my formal dispute with my bank. I asked the bank to close the dispute as "unresolved" out of frustration because we kept arguing the same points . I said we were at an impasse (the vet said she told me in advanced, I said she did not.Just make sure you understand fully what they are doing and understand the cost - ask for it in writing and/or bring a friend.) Also, do not share her name with another vet when you take your pet for another opinion or service. The vet my husband took my cat to 8 days later called her. Apparently (since nothing was in writing) my husband got some points wrong. She told my bank (in the dispute) she was considering suing me for slander...even though it was a privileged conversation between my husband and the other veterinarian, for a cat my husband had euthanize (no need to discuss her treatment plan if she is deceased). I'm debating writing a review on the other Vet also (not a vet that I have previously reviewed.) I had otherwise been happy with the other vet's services until this breach of confidence. -Kim Bogia

I half expected some 20 something brat just starting her very own DoggySitter's Club to show up at my door but THANK GOD was I wrong. Niki was professional, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with; we talked about what I wanted from her as far as pet care and what she needed from me. For SUCH a reasonable price, she comes over a few hours after I leave for work, takes Moe to his favorite spot (Penn Treaty park, duh!), and gives him lots of love! She even brings my mail in and keeps my house plants happy! I seriously do not know what I would do without Niki. Total lifesaver. If you live in the area, I ABSOLUTELY recommend Champion, and so will your dog.
