As a matter of fact, a ton of the items were empty from the shelves. I can't speak for their grooming services because I've never used them, and I can't speak for their selection of pets because... that is depressing, and I avoid those areas of the store. What I can say is their selection of dog toys is ridiculous, and I left with a whole bunch of plushies for my pup that I did not need. I also have to give a shoutout to Luis, the associate that helped me today. He was so friendly and even gave me 20% off for showing a pic of my pup!

Maybe it was just the day or...I dunno. I stopped by Baltimore Pet Shop to pick up some last minute…read morethings for my fur baby's birthday (yeah I'm that dog parent and so what lol). When I walked in I was greeted by no one and I'm pretty sure staff saw me because the store is small as all get out. It's a personal thing. I digress. They had a lot of options for all kinds of pet babies and it was almost like a little corner store for all of your pet needs. I did pick up a few things for my little one but I could stand for some more affordable items and more variety. Will I go back? Not go out of my way to get there but if I needed anything I'd check them out again.

This is a GREAT atmosphere to entrust the care of your beloved hound if you want your dog to be part of a lovely pack. Lisa D has three peace-loving medium sized mutts of her own already. They are SO used to new dogs, an introduction of a new dog never bothers them. Your dog will NOT get a hundred percent one-on-one attention because at Lisa's, your dog is just a part of a happy pack of dogs. I hope I won't sound like a dog whisperer or anything when I say, your dog would prefer this. The owner, Lisa, works for a daycare center. She's got lots of first aid qualifications (CPR, Ski Instructor, etc.) Lisa lives with her mom. When Lisa is at work, Lisa's mom is tending to your dogs. (Which mainly involves snuggling and giving treats) That means, in this situation, your dog will NEVER be left alone. He or she will always be surrounded by dogs under the loving care of AT LEAST one human. At Lisa D's, if you dog enjoys sleeping with a human, that is NO PROBLEMA! Your dog is welcome on all the furniture and whatever sleeping arrangement serves your pup best is what will be provided. Also, if you are on facebook or have text messaging capabilities, Lisa D. send you fun pix of your dog DAILY to show you that Rover is having a BLAST. Lisa D. has a big backyard and oftentimes when I go to pick up my dog, I have to wait a few minutes because she is out there playing with all the dogs, including mine. To sum it up: If you want your dog to be the one and only, find another situation. If you want your dog to have a vacation that involves being part of a non-aggressive pack of happy dogs, you know, old school style - you can't get much better than Lisa D's.

Debra's work is every bit as good as the show groomers I've used over the years. I took my three Goldens to a professional show dog groomer for many years until she retired. After that, I struggled to find anyone who could groom them properly and was often disappointed with the results. Debra is one of the few groomers I would confidently recommend. On top of that she is in incredibly sweet! We love her, especially Millie!

I've had my dogs professionally groomed here and the groomer did such a poor job, leaving excrement on my dog during his time there and the mgr didn't want to refund me what I paid, when I had originally bought the upgraded service. Today, on a separate trip, . I went to the same store to get dog food and was given the run-around. The store was unorganized. The staff was not knowledgeable nor accommodating when the item was out of stock, offering me an up-sell and not honoring my rewards on the account for which I showed the "mgr" on my phone email. It's an inconvenience to drive to Woodlyn and the experience is not up to par. Not ever again. I've worked in marketing and sales for corporate for a long time. When there is a promotion, you honor it or accommodate and not make assumptions or use entitlement to justify a store inconvenience. There is a reason why sales are down at this store. To others, I say, go elsewhere to spend your time and money.
