My experience has been 180 degrees opposite of the other reviewers. I've seen two different resident doctors, both were in my opinion, top notch. Compared to my previous experiences, these people are well organized and competent. As an example, at my last PCP office, I gave them my list of prescription medications that I'm currently taking, and asked for it to be put on file at the Walmart pharmacy, so when the came for a refill, I would be setup to request on at Walmart. Now, I don't know which end the screw up took place, but a few days after my first appointment with the PCP, Walmart sent me an mail saying my refills were ready for pickup. Walmart had refilled every medication on the list sent to them. At the pharmacy, I told the that I didn't want or need at that time, and I only asjed the OCO to put them on file so I could get refills when need at later dates. But talking to the pharmacy counter person was like talking to a brick wall, so I just took the refills. Next, I needed to have my A1C blood test done. The Dr.'s office drew blood sent it to the lab and the lab rejected because it was submitted in the wrong type vial. I had a followup appointment with the Dr. to review the results... I was never contacted by the Dr. office about test not being done, and only found out about when I should up for my appointment to review the results. Another blood sample was drawn and sent to the lab, and it to was rejected, this time due to the Dr. office not supplying a valid provider number. So.... back to the Dr. Office for a third blood draw. It goes off the lab, which rejected it for a third time for reasons I didn't understand. That's when I said "enough!!" and a search for a new PCP ending up with me going to the KRMC Resident Clinic. I finally got my A1C blood test done (on the first try), and I'm pleased with the care that I've received since I switched to them back in January 2026.

I would steer clear of this Medical establishment. My Family Nurse Practitioner (Dyanne M…read more Hernandez) has proven to be unethical and clearly not interested in taking any interest in my health care needs. The Kingman Regional Medical Center also employs a director of Risk Management named Stefani Neary, also a corrupt, unethethical employee. I previously contacted the CEO - Heath Evans, who refused to assist me with a complaint - another worthless employee at KRMC. I did report Dyanne M. Hernandez, FNP to the Arizona State Board of Nursing on May 01, 2026. As of today (June 15, 2026), I have not heard any update on my complaint.

The office staff is the most incompetent and uncaring group of people it has ever been my misfortune to deal with. The phones are completely automated. I leave voice messages and get no replies ever. I had my blood work done and x-rays on my back in order to see an orthopaedic surgeon over a month ago. No one has ever contacted me with the results of any of that. Dr. Parry told his assistant, while I was in the room, to set up a referral with a surgeon because I have a huge hiatal hernea and possible iliac hernia. No one has called me back regarding that. I have called and left my phone and name on their voice mail for both the person in charge of referrals and the doctor's assistant. No return calls. In order to get my blood work done, I had to go back to their office to get more paperwork because the paperwork they gave me for the order wasn't filled out with anything other than my personal and insurance info. There was no instruction on what kind of blood draw to do. In the interim, it was determined I would need an RA blood draw as well, which would mean I had to be fasting. So new paperwork had to be done. The guy at the front desk was on the phone with another patient. There was a girl sitting in a chair at a desk behind him twirling in the chair. Finally, I asked if she could help me. She never offered, even though she wasn't doing anything and saw me there, waiting for assistance. They gave me six sheets of paper for one blood draw. The lab tech looked at it and said that only one sheet was complete. All the others were printed wrong so that only a portion of the necessary info was on each page. I still haven't seen an orthopaedic doctor and I still haven't heard from anyone about a surgeon for my hernia. I can't reach anyone by phone. I don't want my insurance to be billed for another office visit, but I have no other way to talk to Dr. Parry about any of this. DON'T GO TO SYCAMORE MEDICAL IN KINGMAN, ARIZONA. The doctor you see may be terrific, but the office staff is horrible.

I had to come back 3 times; echo, stress test, and finally to visit the throne of the doctor. Two days ago was that final visit to see the doctor. I was taken back to the treatment room where I waited for 40 minutes until I heard the staff say (among other things) that the doctor wasn't there. NOT THERE? He likes to fill up his waiting room before he makes an appearance. They would not tell me when he would be there. I was more disappointed than angry. I drove 30 miles to get there. I was facing another 30 minutes to get home. So I left. Today I called back and I guess to teach me a lesson they won't get me back in for another 45 days. I'm guess he probably still won't be there. In an office where every 4 feet they warn against stress they are stressing their patients. The staff is also guilty of violating privacy too. I heard things I should not have heard. I know better because I spent over 40 years working for surgeons. The bad thing is that Kingman hasn't got anything better. It's all pretty much like this.

My Experience With Systemic Racism at KRMC Urgent Care…read more While visiting Kingman, Arizona, I went to KRMC Urgent Care because I was very sick. I was experiencing severe throat pain, difficulty swallowing, symptoms of tonsillitis, and stomach pain. I clearly told the receptionist multiple times that I was there for tonsillitis and stomach issues. However, my visit was entered incorrectly as "personal." Because of that, staff later assumed I was there for STD testing. When the nurse called me back, the first thing she said was that my visit was for an STD. I immediately corrected her and explained that I never said that. I specifically said "tonsillitis" more than once. I felt stereotyped and judged instead of listened to. The nurse even stated that people who are nervous to say "STD" often say "personal," even though I never used the word "personal" at all. I also waited an unusually long time while many other patients who arrived after me were taken before me. During my visit, I felt dismissed and talked over by the nurse practitioner. I was unable to fully explain my symptoms before being interrupted. When I explained that both my throat and stomach were hurting, I was told I had to "pick one issue," despite the fact that both symptoms were affecting my health. I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and not properly treated. The medication prescribed did not help, and I later had to seek care from another doctor, causing me additional stress and financial burden. As a Black gay man, this experience deeply affected me. I have lived in many places, including Florida, Toronto, and Germany, and I have never before felt this level of discomfort and dismissal while seeking medical care. I understand the difference between normal medical delays and being treated differently. This experience made me feel unwelcome and devalued. When I later contacted a supervisor to report my concerns, I did not feel listened to or supported. Instead of hearing my experience and addressing my concerns seriously, I felt the staff and clinic were immediately defended without investigation. I believe every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism regardless of race, sexual orientation, or background. My purpose in sharing this experience is to speak honestly about how I was treated and to encourage better communication, accountability, and patient care for others in the future.
