Not a fan of this Kroger. This grocer seems to be run down. They were out of a lot of the items I was looking for. I had to go next door to Advance Auto Parts for batteries, since Kroger was out of the size needed. Their produce section left a lot to be desired. I was happy that their sandwich game was pretty much impeccable. I found some good sandwiches here. The beer selection was below average. A few Houston breweries, all the national brands and a few imports. Meh. I got some 8th Wonder here, which was good. They had narrow aisles and help was nowhere to be found. At least the check out process was fast and easy. There's a Starbucks up in this store, but I didn't check that out. Instead, I went for the Kroger brand coffee-like drinks. Gah. I'd prefer to go shopping at a Lowe's or a HEB. Advance Auto Parts was a better place to get some of the merchandise! read more

There is no customer service here, twice in one week I was unable to make my purchase. I ask for help at the self check out, they come by, leave to never return without helping. Gonna have to start getting groceries elsewhere. read more

I'm not loving this Kroger. It's always out of everything! I get it's a pandemic and paper towels and toilet paper are in short supply but every week they are out of something. Pringles, soda, always something small but it's really irritating. The place is clean,and has a Starbucks and it's like a minute from my house but man it's a pain to have to go back 3 or 4 times to fill our list. We've been using the pickup services but again, they are out of so much we wind up having to go to to HEB or Walmart anyway. I get prescriptions filled here but sometimes they have to order them which takes forever and is just another irritation. I'd change but my insurance has just a few pharmacies to choose from. I have them 3 stars for being close, for friendly people and typically being quick and easy to get into. But I'm not sure this is going to be my regular go to place. read more

I really like this Kroger. They have everything I need. Well, almost. But the things I can't find I can't find anywhere else, either. I did find Guanabana juice, which I have looked everywhere for for years. And there's enough variety to keep me interested in trying this and that for years. There's a bit of problem with their mobility scooters--frequently they don't have full charge and run down before I am finished. This, however, I find to be the case in other stores also. I like to spend a good Hour shopping and looking at everything, so I need a good scooter. Aisles are plenty wide, and there aren't displays blocking the way. The help is always helpful. Checkout is fast. Kroger pick-up is good, too. read more

I would like to thank the lady's Mrs Anne and mrs Aniha for there excellent service in the pharmacy. there was a mess up on my doctors end for my medication. even when I got to Kroger it was out of stock and being days without my medication I was feeling very very sick. these two ladies did everything in there power to get me my medication that day. they are so sweet and deserve a lot of praise. it's people like this that make this world a better place. thank you very much ladies. Not many good things I can say here. Produce is old with flies everywhere. Meat department is a joke; a roast I bought was really tough and had cysts in it. Gross Gross Gross! Everything else is close to its expiration date if not already expired. Selection of products is dwindling. Staff is awful. Baggers are clueless. Checkers don't know much either. They forget to scan my coupons and don't give me the automatic ones that pop out. Needs a new manager. read more

I would give Kroger 0 stars if I could. There was a problem during my transaction and instead it of getting a manager, I was told "it's not our problem." I've worked in customer service. If I talked to a customer like that would have been fired. When I did talk to a manager he was very quiet and didn't resolve my issue either. He admitted that it was probably something in their system, but was unwilling to find a solution. I left my $168 worth of groceries. I hope my perishables go bad so they can't sell it, would serve them right for the way I was treated. read more

I love this store! I love how they actually mark stuff down instead of throwing it away. Staff is always friendly and helpful! Every time I get produce from here, I have to pick through everything to find decent looking veggies and fruits. They did a remodel about a year ago but seem to have forgotten the registers. They need a big update and start supporting contactless payments like Apple Pay and Android Pay. read more

Even though I am the duke of this place I hate it .but Walmart is no better I usually go at night when all they have are self checkout which theirs always seem to be messing us calling for attendant but guess what no one is ever around go figure ...they never have a constant selection of the same thing we'll flavor I guess ...for ex yogurt they get something new and you never see it again if you like it .the employees for the most part don't help you or care to help they do how ever make to to stand around gossip laugh and giggle ...I really wish the city had a better option for shopping .i usually go to heb but I can't justify driving 20 mins for eggs and yogurt when this is 5 mins from my house . read more

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. This place deserves negative stars. Customer service is lost on these fools. Now normally I would do an online order, for the convenience of it, but today I chose to run in and do the trip myself. I brought with me 2 of my teenage children, and we just spent roughly an hour and a half in the store, gathering a full cart of grocery items, that I am certain will last me probably a week or so. (Side note :Teenagers will literally eat you out of house and home) but anyways, I finally got through this hour and a half of shopping, only to discover there was only 1 lane open to check me out. There was self checkout options, but I didn't want to check out a little over $300 dollars worth of groceries, so I waited in the only line that was open to check out. Finally it was my turn, and the check-out process went rather smoothly, I paid and we were finally done! Success!! I was parked on the other end of the store, and since I didn't want to expose my cold items to the 90° heat outside, I chose to cut through store front to exit out the doors closest to my car. This is where it got interesting. On the way through the lobby area? I guess you could call it that my cart just randomly stopped. It would not go any further at all. So here I am standing rather confused in the middle of this lobby area, with a cart full of groceries feeling like I'm being pranked, as my cart remains frozen to the store it apparently doesn't want to leave!! At which point a woman from the self checkout station (I think) approaches me and doesn't ask but demands to see my receipt (for this cart full of BAGGED groceries) I am befuddled enough. To actually appreciate her presence at this point, cause the bigger issue is obviously my cart is stuck! So I asked her to please get me another buggy, so I can move my groceries to it, at which point she informed me she wouldn't, because SHE had stopped my cart!!! Seriously??? I didn't even know that was a thing! She precedes to again demand instead of politely asking for the receipt for my items. At this point I'm actually getting pissed, my kids were embarrassed, and uncomfortable, heck, even I am embarrassed and uncomfortable at this point. We went back and forth for a few minutes, I pointed out that I had come from the other end of the store, she advised me she hadn't seen me check out, and I ultimately gave her the receipt. Which btw she barely glanced at. It was just awkward and rude, and demeaning. Customer service used to mean something. It used to be a privilege to earn someone's business. Instead I walked out of this store feeling angry and frustrated, drained and treated like a thief. I will not be subjecting myself to this treatment again. I always shop at krogers,And I always use the fast self service check out,well today I had a rude experience,first with the grumpy,growchy,man in seafood,he was so rude he scared me,also walking through the isle near pharmacy was a young man stocking,he saw me and had plenty of room to stop what he was doing and just move a tiny bit so I could get through,I said excuse me,and he did not budge I said excuse me again I could not get through,he would not move!!! Finally he looked at me like who the hell are you look the same look the ma in the seafood looked.also the lady on the last register with the braids in her hair with Kroger buttons all over her uniform also was very rude,she asked me if i wanted to use my krogers card,i did not hear her,then she repeated it again and then made a remark well I had to repeat it 2 times,in a rude way,No smiles just grumpy unhappy moody people,makes me not want to come back, Yall lost a good customer,I'll do my shopping in pearland Kroger for now on.no one wants to shop in a store with rude moody lookin g people read more

This is one of the worst grocery stores I've ever had the displeasure of shopping in. I've really tried to like it. In fact, I used to really like the tortilliaria until I went to HEB and discovered theirs is better. Hard to know where to start, but here's why I prefer to not shop here. The pharmacy. Great deals and prices; however the incompetency of the pharmacy staff leaves a lot to be desired. I have had two recent occasions now where the staff simply does not listen to what you say. One time, they refilled a different prescription than I asked. Same medication but lesser strength and then told me I could just take two of them. Unfortunately that would mean I would run out in the middle of the month and the insurance company would not pay for another Rx two weeks later. The second time is now. I have waited eight days for them to refill an asthma medication for one of my cats. Instead of calling the local vet as I told the technician on the phone she would need to do, she contacted the previous vet in California. Not sure what happened after that but eight days later the Rx has not been filled and my cat is running out of an essential medication. Now it's Sunday and we have to wait until tomorrow to attempt to get this filled again. Not good. The produce department is abysmal! Every now and then they have something really wonderful; like last summer when they offered raspberries at 50 cents a pint and they were fresh, beautiful and not moldy. But on an everyday basis the department is a shambles. There is always old looking produce sitting around. Yesterday I needed to buy cauliflower and all of it that was out was moldy. I have seen ears of corn on the cob with the husks completely dried out. I almost never see anyone working in the department; the plastic bags to put your veggies in are few and far between. Yes, some of the produce is decent but the whole department is so unappealing that it makes me not want to purchase any produce from there at all. The checkers. They are nice people but don't seem to know much about what they are doing sometimes. They often don't know anything about the products (like clam juice) where one clerk directed me to a random aisle rather than tell me they simply didn't know and they other admitted to not having ever heard of the stuff therefore not knowing where to tell me to find it in the store. And my latest experience was purchasing white button mushrooms. The checker was unable to figure out what kind they were. I told her button mushrooms which did not appear in her list. So, she charged me for shiitakes, then wanted to charge me for portobellos and even told me that it was not her job to know what kind they were! She's a checker ringing up produce, yes she does have to know what it all is; that's part of the job! They were simply listed as "white" in her book but she acted like I was stealing them since now she would be charging me for the cheapest kind. Yes, they are the cheapest ones. Hello! I have never been able to purchase the meat here. It just doesn't look that good to me. So, really, there is not much reason for me to shop here except for the occasional trip to get some standard packaged item I am out of. I wish that wasn't the case since this is the closest grocery/pharmacy to where I live. However, I will drive to the HEB to avoid shopping here. Written in my travelogue: Good place to stop and use the restroom and get a Starbucks perhaps, but skip it entirely as a grocery store. read more

Deli dept is slow, always understaffed. Produce is low quality and many expired items on shelves. All employees can be much nicer.

Can I give this place 0 or -1 review? I have shopped at Kroger and ordered drink here so many times. This is the worst experience ever. Ordered very berry hibiscuss no ice. The service was slow. I was reading stuff on phone and didn't notice until I got the yellow drink taste like the combination of sugar and water. That's all. No berries no thing else. Seriously?! read more
