    Starbucks in Kroger
    Ashley S.

I haven't had a bad experience here yet. It's a convenient location, they have a gas station & a Starbucks. They've had everything I was looking for and then some. I noticed they have a lot of kosher snacks and snacks from around the world. Prices are pretty decent. Today I got 20cents per gallon off gas since I have the Kroger card and I had the reward. Normally it's 3cents off gas with the card.

Holy cannoli that was good. Twin packs sold in the bakery.

From the outside this Kroger looks clean and modern. The compliments stop there. This store is small and frequently out of items even pre pandemic. This location is also notorious for selling items beyond the "sell by" date. In the past 6 months I've accidentally purchased ghirardelli chocolate and home chef products beyond their "sell by" date because they were left on the shelves and I forget to check the dates. Numerous times in the dairy section I've come across yogurts beyond their "sell by" date. I've brought it to the store management attention but they don't seem to be taking any actions to correct the problems. I'd personally avoid this location if possible.

Once I became vegan, Kroger was my go to grocery store for everything I needed. I even got to try new stuff like vegan bacon, vegan butter and cheese. I was excited to see so many options. Ice cream, mock meats, non dairy milks and frozen meals. This was definitely the only reason I kept coming back. Customer service was lacking, but probably because there were young kids who were cashier's. I barely got a hello at times. But I no longer live in Augusta, so I won't need a Kroger ever again.

Although this store has been upgraded quite well, they have rearrange over half the products. In the beginning it was somewhat difficult but the management placed "helpers" to combat most of the confusion. As I'm lukewarm on where everything is located, the notion still boggles me of a store moving your expanded natural market to 2 isles?.? Overall it it does have good sales, digital and paper coupons, fast and easy self checkout. It also doesn't hurt it on the way home.

Very lovely staff; grocery pick up is efficient and nice; I've had missing groceries and they always make up for it with no issues.

Had to bag my own groceries AGAIN! Only one regular cashier open for regular clients. He didn't even bother to help!

The prices are definitely steep, even in comparison to somewhere like Publix. Whilst in the store, I saw several shady individuals smoking inside with backpacks on. Yet management didn't do anything about them. The second I exited the store I felt like I was going to get mugged. Some other shady individuals (whose pants were sagging) all were conjugating outside the entrance. One of them said to me, "Who you looking at N-slur." Another one asked, "What you have in the (grocery) bag N-slur" When I got to my car one of them was walking towards my car. Now I don't know if he was going to do anything, but the whole thing felt extremely sketchy. I wouldn't want to come back to the store unless they had some sort of security to keep thugs and rift-raft out. Because unless you want to be mugged, shopping here isn't a great investment!

It is made in front of you so you can easily customize to fit your desires. They also had customizeable pizza, subs, and rice bowls. And a hot bar with chicken and traditional sides. Tons of flavors to meet your desire. They also have beer on tap! Parking is very simple with a giant lot out front. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outside also has a fire pit and a little mini golf area that I hope to visit in the summer.

So when I say I have frequented this Kroger location for almost the entirety of my 15 years in Augusta, that means something. I will also note that means I stuck with them through the early waves of COVID-19, as they had already implemented curbside pickup months before the statewide shut down. I have seen the location go through major renovations, including product placement and the increase of self-checkout lanes. But some things (and very important ones at that) have remained the same. The customer service here is universally top notch. From team members who bring out your groceries and load them in the trunk to the person overseeing self-checkout to the pharmacy, they are always helpful, patient, and kind. My interaction with the bakery has been minimal, but it too has always been a positive experience. I appreciate their overall selection, their organic-all natural options, and yes even their clearance section (it's like a treasure hunt every time I visit). One item I feel is underappreciated is their in-house sushi. You can get a single roll (only $5 on Wednesday's) or order an entire tray. Quality at a great pice. Also worth mentioning is their NA options. Samuel Adams, Guinness, Athletic Brewing, and Hop Water are all there. I will be coming here until the day I depart Augusta.

I'm not sure why it closed or if Harvey's the new supermarket is taking over Bi-Lo locations. The setup seemed the same, but of course the branding was different. They had green mostly to match with the outside signage. There was a cafe in the area near the deli/bakery. The pricing seemed a bit higher than Kroger, which is where I usually shop because of the savings and card perks. They did have a section where everything was $1. I didn't browse it since I was in a rush. There is plenty of parking because it is located in a plaza. I don't live anywhere near this grocery store, but I'd visit occasionally if I were in the area.

There was tons of buzz about this place because they have great prices on some things that cost much more around town. For instance, I picked up two packs of bone-in, thick cut pork chops for a little over $3. It was about 7 in each pack. You couldn't beat that price with a stick!!! There were tons of other deals around the store but, that was just an example of how this store was needed for the budget conscious consumer like myself!!!! They also have a $1 aisle were there are all types of things that are $1 each. I've heard some of my friends already say they will never shop anywhere else for groceries again. I'm not going to say that because I can find deals almost anywhere I shop. This store also redeem and reward you with the Plenti rewards program. I was already a member of that program so I didn't have to sign up, but if you're not it's a breeze to do so. This place is definitely one to check out and see what kind of amazing deals you can find for yourself!!!
