This Kroger is conveniently located just off of the highway and is well stocked and while my cashier at checkout could have been a bit more energetic and perhaps friendly, there was really no issues here. The store is well planned out and I was able to get a lot more than I originally came in for and check-out was relatively quick and smooth, with the exception of the disinterested cashier who walked away before my items were even bagged. Parking here was not an issue and they also have a gas station attached to it, or at least on the same property. I would definitely recommend this Kroger. read more

I've called there several times, and was on hold for over 30 minutes and given the run around 10 different I'm not even exaggerating. Bakery hung up on me, and when I called the central store number it somehow kept getting switched to the pharmacy. I just wanted to cancel my bakery order due to ordering it at the wrong store so come 06/20/2025 you guys will be making an order for NO REASON because you simply cannot answer the phone. Not doing too well. Butter, corn and cheese all rang up wrong. It was a 10$ error in their favor. Got 2 corrected and missed one. That's on me but wrong prices are on them. Double check! They also don't take nee product requests. Cashier and manager both verified it. Need to work on that customer service! read more

Not really sure why others are hating on this particular Kroger. It's clean, large, and well lit. The employees I've encountered here have always been friendly, helpful, and smiling. Seems others are griping about the produce; unfortunately, I cannot speak on that because I haven't purchased produce from here. Love the fact that this Kroger is open 24 hours. As a night owl, it's nice to be able to go grab something in the middle of the night, especially when most things in Mississippi shut down by 10pm. There's a 24 hour Walmart just down the road, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood to deal with Walmart, even if it is in the middle of the night and not so busy. I also feel really safe here in the middle of the night. During the day, parking can be a real pain in the behind here. They have a good-sized lot, but they get so busy that it can be really difficult to find a good space that isn't all the way at the back of the lot. Also a lot of people in the parking lot going to and from the store/car, so make sure you drive through slowly and pay attention. read more

Excellent grocery store. My wife and I love Kroger. Excellent quality of food, affordable prices, and friendly staff if you need anything. I would also venture to say that Kroger brand food items are usually (not always) just as good as name brand. The Kroger granola bars have been the only mishap I've encountered. They also have plenty of coupons available for download on the phone app. read more

I want to love this location, I really do. I will say that they recently remodel and it's amazing! Could easily be a five star if they would do a better job of stocking items and had more knowledgeable employees. This isn't the employees fault but the management. This store is never well stocked. I'm not taking about just during the pick of covid or the recent Mississippi ice storm because it is always poorly stocked! We are huge foodies and plan our menu based on what we know our local Kroger carries and 9/10 times they are out of at least a few items. Over all the store is clean but never enough people working. The fresh seafood:meat counter also doesn't open till 10, even on Sunday which is just crazy to me! Even though I'm only giving it 3 stars I still use this location because at least with the remodel they now carry more produce and cheese which is really nice. If they are ever better stocked and have enough employees to handle the crowd it could easily be a five star store. read more

This is the best laid out of all the Kroger's in the Rankin County area, it also seems to be the biggest and have a better selection. Good sales, cheapest diesel around, decent gas prices, $5 sushi Wednesday (ok quality), and they have the new personal scanners which I find makes shopping super quick and convenient. read more

Horrible customer service after our daughter fell while an employee was mopping. We asked the "Co"-manager for an incident report just in case she was hurt. Instead the co-manager went about making a case for how it was our daughter's fault. It could be because my wife is a couponista but normally the folks here are good about it. This co-manager has ruined our experience with this store. We will shop at Whole Foods and the Flowood location. Like the other review, we've found the produce doesn't last and usually find bad pieces in bags when we bring the food home. Bananas in particular don't last more than a day or two. read more

We moved back to the Crossgates area four months ago, after living in southern Rankin County for two years. ALL of the employees at the Kroger on Hwy. 49 were awesome, the techs hugged my neck on my last refill, top-notch staff there. So, I decided to continue to use Kroger after moving. I can't say the same about the Kroger in Brandon. I went today at around 2:30, after spending the day in the ER, to fill two prescriptions, pick up two prescriptions and inquire about two others. The little pharmacy "technician", TIFFANY, had attitude from the moment I walked up and I certainly didn't need that after the day I'd had. I was misinformed about one of three refills from one of my doctors and simply responded with "why would she call in two and not the third?" A kind response from this so--called technician would be, "So sorry, maybe you should contact them", or "I can't really say, ma'am". But this little girl said "Because I don't work at their office", virtually rolling her eyes while speaking. I wanted to slap her like her momma probably never did, yet I refrained. When working with the public, it's paramount that patients and customers are treated with the utmost respect, PERIOD. Little TIFFANY should go back to tech school where she got her little certificate to stand behind a computer reading information (something a monkey could do with more compassion), and brush up on being tactful and respecting her superiors. I spend way too much money in their store to tolerate that treatment. Shame on you for hiring someone so incompetent. So nice to have a bad day made even worse by some little disrespectful child behind a counter. read more

Absolutely the worst produce around. Today I picked up a bag of red potatoes, MountainKing brand and all but 3 were molded and rotting. The celery had apparently been frozen. I give up. Never again will I shop at Kroger. read more

I love this Kroger store. I never have to wait long to check out and the cashiers are all so friendly and helpful. If you have a problem, you need to go to the Customer Service Desk and they will help you. If you buy something and it is bad, they will replace it or give you your money back. read more
