I saw that my favorite Chardonnay, Martha Stewart's 19 crimes Martha's Chard was on sale at the local Kroger so I went to buy a few cases. Sadly not one bottle was available so I spoke with the store manager. He went through the trouble to call their wine distributor for me ,but all he was able to get his hands on was six bottles. I really do appreciate the great Customer Service, because this wonderful wine is now out of production, and I got the last six bottles in my area. I'd highly recommend this Kroger, because the store manager and staff go out of their way to help their customers. Now...to find another good Chardonnay.... read more

I tend to usually find what I want at this store. However, there are a few reasons why I have to rate this Kroger as two stars. I have been here quite a few times in the early morning, right after they have opened, and the music is just absolutely blaring in the store. I don't mind music in the store but it's just hard to have a relaxing trip when rock music is so loud you can't hear the associates. My next issue is that in the produce area, I will often see items that are marked at a low price and the sign indicates that it is for people with the Kroger rewards and also digital coupon in the app. Several times I have not been able to find the item at all in the app, Including days after this item supposedly went on sale. I ring the items up and then I have to call an associate over to do a price adjustment. read more

Don't visit this location if you ever want anything from the Deli counter. The last five times I have been there, it has been closed. When I ask why it is always a different excuse. I was there on 11/29/22 and this time it was "they have just completed inventory day". What kind of lame excuse is that. By the way, this was at 2:30 in the afternoon. Forget going there after around 4pm as it is ALWAYS closed. The other standard excuse is "we are shirt staffed". Funny. The nearest location at 14 mile and Haggerty can seem to staff their Deli counter till at least 5pm every day. I wish Meijer would start stocking Boar's Head meats. Then I would have absolutely zero reasons to go to Kroger ever again. This is notwithstanding all the other items I can buy at Meijer in the food department the Kroger "doesn't stock". Came to this store around 2pm. Even though it was snowing, the parking area is full of cars. I don't intend to buy a lot but the small carts are nowhere in site ;-(. So I opted to use a bigger cart. There's two entrance and exit doors. If you enter on the left side entrance, you will pass through the self-check counter and the bank. When you enter on the right side, you can see their produce department and cashiers. The dairy area, deli and seafood department are located at the back portion of this Kroger store. I am into markdowns, so the best place will be located at the cleaning products aisle. The store is rather small, compared to the Haggarty location. But I like going to any Kroger stores because of the low prices offered. This location does need more people to replenish their items/stock. I see most items I intend to buy are out of stock. Easy check out for me. Accepts cash or credit card payment. The digital coupons I clipped on their app also works! Saved a few more cents/dollar...thanks to their digital system of couponing! I liked that they placed the Friday downloads in one area. Their customer relations need improvement. A little bit of smile or hi from their cashiers or baggers will make a lasting impression at check-out. Most likely, I will come back at this Kroger location. read more

Good parking. One of the larger stores. Unfortunately the area has gone down hill lately. Came in here for a quick food run at 8 pm, and people here were sketchy. While looking at food on a shelf some scary men made racist comments to me and brushed my shoulder when they went by. Not good they do not close at 9:00 they close at 6:45 even though the sign says 7:00. horrible experience being handicapped and in a wheel chair denied prescription for diagnosis of a blood clot the prescription was filled (the store did not notify the customer that it was ready for pick up)but wouldn't give to customer they told the customer in the wheel chair to come back in the morning even though pharmacy hours were to 7:00 they wouldn't serve at 6:45. Do they not know how difficult it is for people who are physically challenged to get to the store. This was much needed medicine and time is critical for this person to begin the intake of the prescribed drug.. cold hearted these employees were. After observing this interaction I will never use this pharmacy! read more

This store is absolutely horrible! I would never recommend that anyone visit it under any circumstances. The staff and management are highly incompetent. The lack of communication skills and common sense was unfathomable. On two occasions I had poor experiences and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt after the first (my mistake). I went to pick up an order that no one informed me would not be ready at the scheduled pick up time. I kept being told "20 more minutes" and waited over an hour. On the first occasion the team left $60 of items that I paid for out, because they did not thoroughly check the order. I had to notice call back, and make them check. Just a lack of decency and courtesy for their customers. I would suggest going to any other store as opposed to this one. Since there is a huge breakdown in communication. I definitely see why they had all their pickup order timeslots available now. read more

A location with plenty of lazy employees, terrible management, and items always out of stock. One time my wife and I went here, the cashier said she simply couldn't help us because there were not enough people working and that: "a bunch of people quit". Kroger - a parking lot with blue and yellow lines - Grocery Near Me - Farmington Hills, Michigan

On October 10, 2022, my 15 yo son and i went To the Kroger at this location. After shopping for maybe an hour, I realized that we had chosen more than we had money for. I called a clerk over and apologized and told her that some things which I left in the cart, we had to leave behind. I reached in my bag to get my wallet just to realize that I had forgotten my wallet. I told the same clerk that we would be back to pay for our groceries And said that we were down the road. I drove w my son back to our hotel where we had been staying for the last month and retrieved my wallet. We raced back to the store, being careful of course!, to pay for the groceries, I sent my son in to pay for the groceries, I watched him come out seconds later to tell me that he was told that the clerks put our groceries away. I went in to speak w the clerk who I had spoken with moments prior, and she told me that her supervisor told her to put our groceries away. When we left the store, it was 938pm on my clock in my car. When we arrived back at the store my clock in my car read 956pm. I realize that it was late, yet we were gone for 18 mins. If they were going to put the groceries away, you'd think they would have said so before we left the store. That wouldve been fine with me. It wouldve been better than being deceived and told that the groceries wouldve been sitting there when we got back. The response that we received was "we didn't know if you'd be back, we've been told that before" which has nothing to do with me.I guess the supervisor who instructed the clerks to put the groceries back, called herself trying to make things better or appease me, i dont know, gave me a $25 gift card. To me it added insult to injury. I still had to buy groceries for my sons and so I went elsewhere.I don't know if they were stereotyping me by saying "we've heard that before" I hadn't told them anything being that I knew nothing about the area until Sept 10 when my sons and I fled to the area from Detroit. To be rendered homeless and then end up being treated like that.. I made the mistake of forgetting my wallet, did we deserve that? Mind you I said that we had about 20 mins before the store closed and we arrived back before the store closed. We liked the store but with that experience we will not return. They have a nice selection of health food here. The prices are quite competitive with other grocery stores. Usually the prices seems to be either better or on par with the other grocery stores that I go to. It's a good sized store but it would be nice if the restrooms were bigger so you don't have to wait so long when there's a line. Or maybe I need to plan my trip here better. read more

He does not care one whit about customers, especially if he is on one of his personal calls, or chatting with another employee about something not related to work. I like this Kroger because it's small. I've been to the Krogers' in the near by areas, and this one is definitely not as updated and new-looking as the others. But I like it... I shop here at least twice a week for our daily groceries, you know, eggs, bread, milk etc. The Staff is great! They're helpful, knowledgeable, and cheerful. Sure, they don't stock a massive variety of things, but we've got a Hiller's, Meijer's, Buschs, and Whole Foods not too far away for the fancy stuff. And the fact that it's not gigantic in size means I can get everything I need and be out of there within 10-15 minutes, without walking half a mile between the produce section and the pharmacy. To end my little rant, I love my little Kroger. Ps. The Sushi is pretty darn good for grocery store sushi! read more

Really pleased with my experience at Kroger today for the first time in a long time. Everyone is struggling with getting employees right now but I am seeing big improvements at this location!! They have a new store manager Rob/Ron and he had the cashier area running the smoothest I have seen in years!!! I was shopping alone today and my cart was overflowing, it was overwhelming to think about trying to get everything back in one cart when i would check out, but to my pleasant surprise there were 4 cashiers today and most had baggers. Also my newly opened lane had the actual store manager Rob/Ron bagging my groceries for me!! WOW! The cashier was a friendly woman and very pleasant. The manager actually bagged everything, put it in two carts and then took the 2nd cart out to my car and he LOADED MY CAR AND TOOK THE CARTS BACK FOR ME!!! I was SO AMAZED AND PLEASED!!! I like the 12 Mi Kroger because it has attentive associates.Though there is a comment about one of the managers, I have personally had wonderful supervisors/managers who have been very attentive and helpful whenever needed. If you aren't heard, try a different supervisor already there. Every place (not just grocery stores) has an employee or two that are not professional when needed. I love 12 Mile Kroger! read more

Wow....weee. Has this place cleaned up. I didn't want to see another closed grocery store, and this place...was heading in that direction. They have cleaned up, did some heavy interior decorating, and have turned this place in a market that rivals plum, and beats hillers. Frankly, I don't know what Target is doing anyway trying to sell groceries, they can't do a better job than meijers, krogers, or hillers. Anyway, it's not just that the stock is done right. DONT GO! Absolutely horrible customer service. My mother is a consistent shopper here and went to purchase lobster for Father's Day and was told to go to the front of the store to purchase it as if they didn't trust her to carry out it to check out. The manager (who was also African American, doesn't matter) told my mother it was policy for Kroger. This is an absolute lie. My mother went to a nearby Kroger instead and had no issue buying the lobster. Other family members have went and had zero problems with this so they are selectively making people go to check out for seafood based on Ho they look. Go figure. Don't spend your money here. Let me start by saying that we will not be returning to this store. The staff in this store is does not like to serve immigrants. I tried to queue at one of teh check out lanes, and I was "shooed" away rudely by one of the workers who was doing the bagging. Initially I thought that they were shutting down for the day, but lo and behold , the check out guy and the worker was doing the bagging welcomed the next white couple to step up. I do know that I am not overly sensitive as I live in a white area. But the staff in this store are racists to the core. read more

This store is great with the exception of the deli counter. As a previous reviewer wrote there was only 1 person who was working with customers while the other employees were in the back milling around. The customer behind me said she will never come back to this store due to the wait she (and I) had to wait. I will say that the person who was actually taking the customers selections was great. This department badly needs some training by management. In regards to the other areas of the store, I find that it is always very clean. The Pharmacy is great as well as the produce department. This is my go to grocery store! It's conveniently located between my house and my boyfriends house so on the way over its the perfect stop for dinner ingredients. They have a nice big parking lot tons of options for ur car lol and the store layout is easy to navigate! Not much to say about the products... It's a damn grocery store. This Kroger is smaller compared to the others that I've gone to and I've never had any problems inside the store. However, last time I went to this Kroger I was sitting in the parking lot reviewing my grocery list when there was a knock at my driver side window. It scared the crap out of my. I looked up and it was a "homeless" woman begging for money and a man standing a few slots back watching. I was freaked out so I gave her a $10. I watched the pair approach several other patrons before getting into a van and driving off. I was not prepared for that and honestly won't go back to that Kroger again because of it. Always have a terrible experience with Arlene the women who claims she is the manager but just works in customer service. She always has a nasty attitude with all the customers. She gets mad if you buy a lot of stuff. She has yelled at customers and put their baskets filled with stuff back on the shelf. Will not come to this Kroger anymore because of her. Arlene does not need to be working a customer service job, but rather working a job where she doesn't have to see or deal with people. That lady is miserable and I have heard others complain about her as well. On the other hand Yolanda is amazing and deserves to be the manager. She is very polite and respectful with customers. Turned to this place since Hillers closed. It has driven me to do more online shopping including Door to Door Organics. Their deli counter is a nightmare. Many times only one person working helping five plus people while two or three workers hang out in back bagging cookies or whatever they do. Produce section is somewhat organized. Meat dept...tough to find more than one person working. My guess is they throw out more fish than they sell. Enjoy bagging your own groceries even when you buy $200+ dollars worth. Where else can you go and spend that amount of money and have to bag your own groceries in crappy plastic bags that usually tear. At least they put handles back on their paper bags. read more

This is a decent Kroger. Its smaller than many in the area, but the dreaded self- checkout experience always goes smoothly for me since when the " call attended help needed" screen flashes, someone is always there to rescue me in a timely fashion. On two occasions I have seen the bag boys bust a move and chase a customer once myself with an item they forgot in the regular checkout line. The pre packaged meat section leaves more room to be desired. I am puzzled as to why the managers special aisle disappeared, but it may be all Krogers. They have some organic foods. The cashiers and managers and produce stockers are always saying hello and smiling. They also have a friendly butcher who has waited on me on numerous occasions. Sunday they run out of items quickly, I noticed though that Saturday early morning is a good time to shop without crowds here. I honestly like the staff here more than the selection, I always have a pleasant experience and will keep coming even if it doesn't have everything I want in stock. read more

I've been going to this kroger for years; only today have I ever felt like sharing an experience there. I was trying to buy a case of beer at the self checkout and had my drivers license ready to show to the attendant. She checked it and was suspicious that it had been tampered with (after admitting she had some visual deficiency). She asked another attendant if my ID looked "tampered with" and, after glancing for less than a second, she unconvincingly agreed. I politely asked for a manager to come look at my ID (and really, why would I do this if it were in some way fake) but the manager refused to come...! Seriously?! What an insult, avoid this place if you expect any service or respect as a customer. read more

Store is quick and conveniant for me, my problem with this store usually comes from finding help at the meat counter,although if you ask a employee they will get someone if the meat department person is not there,but, this is time consuming for the shopper.Once you get help you're ok brecause in my opinion they usually have what you want at the meat counter and their meat is very very good.Occasionally you will not find what you want in this store, as it is a smaller one compared to some other Kroger stores. The prices for the most part are reasonable except for paper products and animal products such as litter, and cat food.I usually buy these things at another place. read more
