It's ok! There are plenty of times the shelves are partially empty. Sometimes the staff are nice. Sometimes they are downright unprofessional. Produce selection is so so. There are days you can't find limes or red peppers, but there are days they have every packaged salad and side dish you can imagine. Starbucks is in this location. Be prepared to wait. I don't recommend the bakery. I've stood in line for a significant time and have staff just walk past me. Deli is incredibly slow, but they have a nice selection of meats. You can find good deals if you have a Kroger card! read more

Let me start with the fact I waited outside for 2 HOURS for a grocery pick up. I pulled up just before 7 with a line of about 3 cars waiting to just even get to a pick up spot. Wait for a bit finally got into a spot. About 30 minutes go by and a gentlemen brought out groceries to my car (very nice employee). We were talking and I mentioned how crazy busy it was, by this time there were 7 cars still in the line to get in the spots. He mentioned that the new manager didn't put any of the pick up team members on the schedule that evening so they pulled people from every department including managers and no one was prepared. Poor guy was almost done unloading when I noticed he put something in my trunk I didn't order. He asked what spot number I was and it was the same on the sheet but it was someone else's order. So he apologized and went in and said someone would be out shortly with mine. So I'm waiting as patient as I can be at this point.... another 30 mins go by and I'm getting skeptical that someone might have gotten my groceries just as I almost got someone else's. The lady next to me that was waiting long before I even arrived finally leaves and a new car pulls up they wait 10 mins and get their groceries and leave then I see it happen again. By this time I'm livid it's 8:50, it's been 2 hours since I was here. So I called and told customer service to cancel my order. Wasn't offered any sort of remorse or reasoning for the wait I mentioned to them, they didn't care at all. What a waste of my time, left with no groceries and got pIzza down the road. All in all who ever the new manager is, needs more training or to not be there. I can only imagine how many people received the wrong stuff yesterday. Employees who were working should get a raise or compensated for having to do extra work and deal with that. They did their best. Not coming back to this location again, certainly as long as they have this manager at least. Messy. read more

PAY ATTENTION TO THE EXPIRATION DATES EVEN ON THINGS LIKE GATORADE! I purchased a few and they're expired. One was not expired but had huge stringy floaties in it! Tried calling the service desk, and of course it keeps hanging up! read more

I am so sad to leave a review like this because I really really want to like this Kroger, but after two bad experiences I have to say something. I do clicklist at this location, and a few months back I had a very very bad experience where I showed up during my pickup window to be told to come back later. Unfortunately it wasn't an option because I live a distance from this store and I just used it because it was on my way home, so I had to wait. It took 45 minutes for my clicklist order that was promised to be ready in the time slot I arrived in and paid for . I could have grocery shopped myself in that window - it killed the convenience factor. I was notably unhappy and haven't visited the store again until this month. I decided to give Kroger Canton clicklist another try. Unfortunately, this time the issue was that I ordered expensive cuts of meat because they were buy 1 get 1 free. I like to stock up and freeze them when the sale is happening. However, the clicklist employee chose the largest and most expensive options and then didn't include my free package. By that fact alone, I lost over $30 in product I would have received if I'd done the shopping myself, and I paid a $4.95 fee to do so. Shame on Kroger clicklist, but really shame on me for giving them another try. read more

Hello Kroger, it's me MaryLou, that strange lady that came in yesterday and was trying to find certain items, mostly unsuccessfully, and asking odd questions like Do you have any other tote bags besides the blue ones up front? And, Where is the yarn located? I'm sorry that I forgot where I was. I started out to go to the Meijer store and made a last-minute switch to go into Kroger's to look for a specific item which you didn't have. Somewhere between entering the store and starting to shop I started thinking I was inside the Meijer store and based my searches and questions on that. That explains why the prices were so much higher than I remembered. And why you didn't have yarn, or clothes, or a very good selection of back-to-school stationery supplies. I was helped by two clerks who were both very helpful and one that was not. The checkout was easy because there was virtually no line. I bought 3 items , all on sale. This might be a great place to buy groceries but do not go in here looking for yarn or cheap scotch tape or reasonably priced protein powder. read more

Yay! I'm a fan of this store! 1, Always clean, stocked and cool staff. There are at least 7 employees that have been there for 4 years or so...they are true heartbeat of the store. They know what we like and they are super dedicated people. They never appear annoyed. 2. I know where to find everything I need. I can shop the store in 15 mins if I am focused. 3. Fresh produce, bakery and quick meal options always available. 4. Starbucks is a little slow, but they are always busy (so it must work for someone.) Consider adding a Tim Hortons for me pretty please. 5. I love the express lanes and self check out options. 6. I love all of clearance sections... I have found some great deals especially in produce & flowers. 7. I miss the Comerica Bank in the store (but I understand). 8. I plan to try out the Click-List service to simplify my life. read more

Let me start by saying that I used to love going to the Canton Kroger. The employees were helpful, the store was clean, and they typically had most things I was looking for. My issue with this Kroger is the new system for check out. I went there around 7:00 last night, the Thursday before memorial weekend. When I went to check out, there was only one lane open. Clearly, they are trying to encourage everyone to use the U scan lanes, but the Lines for those were incredibly long, because the people in them had very full carts. The employee at the U scan Was clearly inexperienced and frustrated. I don't mind using the u scan when I have a few items to purchase, but I don't want to scan 50-100 items myself while constantly encountering problems, and then have to wait five minutes for employee to come over to fix it. If this is the new system at Kroger, I will be shopping elsewhere. read more

This Kroger is huge and luxurious compared to the one in Westland. The selection is double what the other one has. The liquor section and specialty products are amazing. The only thing I don't like is it laid out completely different from my normal Kroger so I have a hard time finding everything. Also, their Organic section is not clearly labeled. The Westland one has all of their organic products together. read more

Better than Meijer across the street for sure. It was renovated not too long ago so everything is pretty nice. It's kind of annoying that the lanes are split in half with an aisle down the middle because of you are walking on the outside (let's say by meat and dairy) you can't see what's in the far aisles because they aren't labeled from that vantage (if that makes sense) so you are forced to walk either down the middle aisle or up and down every aisle to get all your items. read more

I am not typically a fan of Kroger but the new "Click List" shopping is winning me over. I don't like the layout of a Kroger store, half aisles and the such. However with "Click List" I can sit at home and order exactly what my needs will be for the food being served that week. As I'm still recovering from a work injury walking the store is too cumbersome and the electric shopping carts aren't always reliable. As for using the ordering system, it is very specific as to how you must bring up items you want. And the other obstacle I'm fighting is the available items I used to purchase at Meijer's not being available here. As for their system working with inventory I have yet to receive every item exactly how I ordered it. In their defense they do try to make necessary substitutions that make sense that could benefit you depending on how you order. For instance, I order house label canned veggies when needed. If they are out of these they will give you a name brand like Del Monte or Green Giant for the same price you were expecting to pay for the house label. That said I was assured today that customers do sometimes receive the order they enter into the system it just hasn't happened to me yet. If you do try this service, I hope Heather is the person to handle your transaction. She did conduct mine today and by far blew away her coworkers. read more

I really love this Kroger. There are so many positive things about this store and every time I go in here, I have a great and positive experience. This store is bigger than any other Kroger and they offer a wider selection of anything than any other Kroger I have been to. I recently bought some coffee/tea mugs that I found on clearance/ managers special for a great price. Unfortunately when I put them in the trunk they shattered. The customer service representative at the time let me exchange them without any question. She was very friendly and helpful. I have found that since I have been going here, I get great coupons! This is a big plus for me. If you happen to be near the canton center and ford road area, definitely make this one of your stops. read more
