Kroger has been our go-to grocery store for produce as it generally has some of the largest and best jalapenos near us. Plus, the prices for the produce are generally pretty low. Tortillas can be hard to find at some Kroger locations, but this one usually has at least the butter ones left. There's nothing particularly special about this Kroger though, but it is nice that they post the country of origin for their produce, which is not always the case. read more

This Kroger is fine food wise. I do notice they almost never have the produce stocked. When it comes to the pharmacy it is the worst I've ever had to deal with. The pharmacist are rude not helpful and never have the medicine and have to order the medicine once the prescription comes in. They take forever to fill and act like you're bothering them when you ask questions. I can't believe these guys that work there. I've use a different Kroger pharmacy and has been so much better. I think it's just the guys that work at the Cooper store that make this pharmacy horrible. read more

The parking lot needs to be cleaned , the front entry way needs a new carpet, it looks gross. The rugs in front of the exit doors need to be replaced as they slide when the automatic doors open, which is a hazard. The inside produce area floor was redone and that is decent, but the outside and entry need work! read more

every time I get fruit at this kroger and get home to eat it, it ends up being expired but the expiration date says it wouldn't be expired to 3 days later DO BETTER. read more

May not be the most luxurious Kroger, but it's the best one there is! Very efficient, super friendly staff, well-stocked! I can get in & out in 10 minutes with 4 bags of essential groceries for my family. I often take a small detour just to go to this one on the way to kids' school, instead of going to the Matlock store (see my review in that store). read more

I shop at this Kroger ALL THE TIME. My year to date savings (from January to May) from using my Kroger card is $650.00, if that gives you any idea of how much money I spend there. My mom and I have all of our prescriptions there, and that's a LOT, too. Today was the first time I've ever had any problems with an employee at this Kroger (on S. Cooper and Green Oaks). The Dr Pepper was on sale for 4 twelve packs for $10. There weren't any on the shelves, but there were a BUNCH in the entryway of the store, all stacked up, almost 10 feet high. Since there weren't any on the shelves, I went to the front and tried to get some from that stack, but I was told that they couldn't be sold, because someone had tried to get some and several had fallen and broken and leaked and she told me that they didn't have the staff available to unstack it and put it in the soda aisle! Really? You don't have 2 baggers that can unstack it, put them in a cart and put them on the shelves? Apparently not, because she said that the vendor was coming tomorrow to unstack them. So I said, "So I have to make a second trip up here to get Dr Pepper when you have at least FIFTY of them right here? I finished my shopping and remembered that one time, a similar thing happened and the manager on duty sold me two of the 24 packs at the sale price, so I grabbed 2 24 packs and proceeded to check out. I told the guy at the self check that I bought the DP this way before and he said, "Yes, we can do that, we did it earlier today." Great! Well, he just needed Mgr approval and he went and got Kris (Chris? Cris? Not sure how she spells her name) and she told him, "No". Wtf? She CHOSE to be unhelpful to a long time customer who spends a LOT of money at Kroger on a weekly basis. I will be calling the store manager AND the corporate office tomorrow. The price difference was only $6.00, but it's the principle of the matter that Kris chose to be unaccomodating and doesn't have a managerial bone in her body. She really doesn't need to be in a customer facing position (I've been a manager in retail banking for 30 years and I know what it takes to provide good customer service, which she did NOT provide) read more

My go-to grocery store. They always have fresh produce, and lots of it. The butcher counter is always full of good deals (which are usually better than the packaged meats). They could have a better selection of local craft beers, which would be nice. read more

My go-to grocery. Nice people, low prices, well-organized, and clean. Their store brand dry goods and organic store brands are top quality and just as good as any brand name item. Nice sales as well. Many of their normal prices are the same as the competitor's "sale" price down the road on many items. Their Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses are top notch!!! If you decide to buy one of their potato salads, get their "Southern style." It's the best one of the bunch. They've also got awesome deli breads, pastries, and sweets. They also have lovely small trolleys for us single people so you don't have to push the huge locomotive-size ones down the aisles for just a few items!! AWESOME!! Their weakest link [same for all grocery stores really] is produce which sometimes has been on the shelf a bit too long or was a bit too old when it arrived, especially lettuce/tomatoes. It really just depends on the day of the week and time of day really and it's the same for any grocery chain really so no point deduction this. They also post country of origin on the produce price signs so look carefully and you'll see it. I LOVE THIS FEATURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Hint: If you want always FRESH produce, go to Green's Produce and garden center on Arkansas. You'll look at lettuce there and will think it's an alien plant because you've never seen it so beautiful before and it will last several days in your fridge because it is several days fresher when you buy it.] And Kroger stands up for Texas law and does not discriminate against LTC holders. This also helps keep me a loyal Kroger shopper!!! I also get a fuel discount at Kroger stations as well as any Shell station with my shoppers plus card and I can log in online and add digital coupons to my account which automatically kick-in when you ring up the item in-store. They also send periodic coupons by mail on the items you actually use and buy based on shopping history, not rubbish items. It's just another way to save! No better all-around grocery store anywhere and I've been everywhere believe me! read more

Super unhappy we had gone out to shop and stopped by a local Kroger. 5330 S. Cooper in Arlington Texas. We had grabbed several bags of pork rinds because they are used in a lot of dishes on the Keto diet. The guy bagging the groceries looked up and said. I hope your not a terrorist. To which I replied what would prompt you to even ask that question. He said your buying all of these pork rinds. Are you taking them back to your Mosque. I was like you have got to be kidding in who's world it this a correct behavior? I promptly requested the manager and advised her what had transpired. To which she apologized I left the store but decided to return I wanted his name so I could contact the corporate office. Which she provided to me and then stated he realizes it was a bad joke. I'm sorry this type of behavior should not be looked over as a joke. read more

This has always been my go to Kroger but as of lately their employees are very lax when it comes to virus protection. There is a guy in produce and another in the deli that never have their face mask all the way on as though you can't catch or pass along the virus through you nose, only your mouth.If you walk through this store you will see many more employees doing the same thing.The lady that manages this store obviously has no control over her employees, I'll be shopping somewhere else from now on .Very disappointed in this store. read more

I really like this location. The store is always clean and organized. There seems to be a associate close by whenever you need one.

Wow! I like this place! I went in to quickly get some bananas yesterday and was expecting the store to be all over the place and dirty but I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I walked in. The entire store was really clean and looked very well-kept. The produce section felt rather small but I didn't really get a chance to scan through because I was only looking for bananas. The warm lighting made the store feel very cozy, none of that bright white florescent lighting lots of grocery stores have. The cashier I got was very friendly and nice and made me feel very at ease. I wish this store was closer to home because if I could I would do my weekly shopping here. The only thing I do not like about this store is the drive-thru pharmacy. Just looks kind of outdated and dirty. But the inside of the store is fabulous. Would definitely walk in here again! read more

I never in a million years would use yelp to rate a grocery store, but this particular experience was so bad that we could not ignore it. We came in this past Thursday around 2pm and decided to order a sandwich at the deli. The older lady working was so annoyed with our presence that she gave us the worst attitude we've ever seen. We must've interrupted the 10 pre made wrap sandwiches she was trying to make. My wife and I both asked for a sandwich on rye, she glared at us and went in the back, came back out with whole grain and sourdough and slammed it down on the counter. Then she asked for what kind of cheese and meat. It took her 15 minutes to cut the cheese and meats. Not because she was busy, but because she was moving that slow. When we told her she had the wrong bread, she didn't change it. We both asked for onion and tomato. One by one she left the counter again to go find the vegetables then came back to slowly cut them horribly infront of us. We also wanted other toppings but we didn't want it to take another 20 minutes. Then when we told her we wanted mayo and mustard she asked us if we could go get mustard from an isle and bring it to her. We were like what? No! So she left again to go find mustard. When she returned she wouldn't even put it on. She refused to put mayo and mustard on them, but gave us to go packets instead. She kept talking crap under her breath and had the worst attitude throwing stuff around as we asked for things. All in all it took her about 35 minutes to make 2 sandwiches on the wrong bread with no mayo or mustard and poorly cut toppings. We just took them and left, didn't pay for them at the register. Yeah that's right. And when we got home to eat them, they were terrible. Stale bread, warm deli meat, couldn't even finish them. read more

Good Selection of food: Latin food, organic non gmo food, however the customer service is not that good.... At night you have to hunt down a checker......they say, check out in self-check.....ya...no one wants to do a full cart by yourself... This is our usual grocery store for all needs but it's increasingly becoming a headache and a danger. We've had two incidents where my wife had both our kids with her at the store and had someone follow them through the aisles. The person a older man who never picked up anything but went down every aisle my wife and kids went down. He was asked if he needed help but would just pull his phone from his pocket and act as if he had a call. He was always watching my 3 yr old when he would come in the aisle. Thought maybe it was being over precautious but it was down the kids aisles and women's hair care products as well as women's special products. The cashier was notified each time and only got a response of oh we haven't seen anything and then when told again that we wasn't asking we were telling them what's going on they said that oh we will get someone on that. The store is a good store but it lacks a concern for the safety of its patrons by dismissing unusual behavior especially when it involves a child. read more
