A walmart super center with a little extra. Like most Walmart supercenters, there is a very large array of items. They also have McDonald's inside. They have a lot of cool Texas gear inside, and really celebrate the Texas pride. They also have some cool displays that are fun to take pictures with. It can get really crowded here, but it's a cool place to check out and get groceries.

I stopped here to use their parking lot while I quickly ran across the street to the stadium. They seem quite serious about not parking here for stadium events so I planned accordingly. Either I was quick enough to be out and back, or they weren't enforcing it on this Saturday morning. The store is pretty dismal and ranks among the bottom half of Walmarts I've seen. Several out of stock areas. Carts in the cart corrals. Queues at the registers. Just a general disappointment all around. On the plus side, they did have a decent selection of Cowboys jerseys and shirts and hats. So if you're planning to attend the game and need something with that five-pointed star on it, here you go. It's Walmart. Enough said. You're going to find all the basic essentials of life at a reasonable price, but don't expect any fun new brands or extraordinary service. In the grocery section, the shelves are neat but the aisles are busy. Avoid the vegetables and fruits because I saw more than a few gnats enjoying them before you. If you do make it there, the food and grocery section is on the left as you face the store while the household and outdoor items are on the right. Electronics, as usual, are in the back. Parking gets busy pretty much all day so arrive early or late to have an easier time. Entirely avoid this store if there's a game going on at the stadium across the street.

As busy as it gets, it always has just what I'm looking for. Plus it helps to have Money services, and an on site McDonalds.

So when this new shiny store opened I decided to drive an extra 15 minutes to appease my shopping appetite. The girls at this location are much more helpful than the one that will remain nameless (South Cooper and I-20) and the store some how stays fairly organized and clutter free. Whenever I'm looking to find good stuff for a good deal, I always walk away with items every visit. Of course, I am not expecting Ross to be always organized with top tier service. But as of May 2026, the bare minimum quality of service has drastically declined. Upon walking in, shoes were all over the floor, forming mountains of disorganized dump. Size stickers (like a size 9) on the wrong shoes (size 11). As I browsed through different aisles, clothes were misplaced everywhere, on floors, dangling on hangers and different sections. These are the results of a very understaffed team. But the worst part has yet to come- while I was able to find 2 items worthy of checkout, my future visits will depend entirely on how long the line gets per cashiers. I waited nearly 30 minutes in line after one of the two cashiers had to step out. Then the one cashier was having some issues with the register, so for a few minutes nothing was moving. I know their current team is doing their best, but Ross' upper management needs to realize it's unacceptable that people waited this long to the point the line reached the beauty section! (See photo.)

The fabrics seem to be nice quality, but style is just not there for me. Every time I browse in here, I never find anything to my taste that I can wear. Not that I would spend hundreds of dollars on one or two items. What a waste of money! (Think of all the food you could be eating!) In my opinion, it's better to have decent quality for clothes with quantity for every day wear and invest on formal dresses or a few brand purses and some high end makeup. Especially since I get bored easily and I only wear the same clothes two or three times a month, so it's better for me to get cheaper items and stuff my closet with cute outfits. I also don't spend a lot on shoes or heels. Girls need a whole new wardrobe for fancy events each time. Don't ask me why, but we do, so there's no point in overspending where you don't need to. The Loft seems like a good type of place for older rich females who wear simple classy clothing. There are matching two piece sets here too, not just dresses and blouses, and there are bags and jewelry but meh. I'm still young, so I'd rather wear extravagant modern clothes that will turn heads at formals and parties. Gotta find something suitable for my age, ya know? :)

This is the kind of store that has a MUCH larger selection online than inside. I've found a trillion tops and dresses (mostly between $25-$50) I want to order online that I don't actually see in the boutique. This physical location only seems to have a small selection at a time, so be sure to check out their website for waaaay more choices.

Lots of college aged kids there and more life experienced staff there makes for a good mix in my opinion. My only complaint is that the fitting rooms (although tended to) need to be renovated (c'mon corporate) and I think the store could benefit from more square footage as it's pretty crowded especially when events are in town. If you have a for any western items or a night out ladies, see Jesalyn. Boots or custom fitted hats go when Jacob is working, it will be worth it.
