I used to shop at Wallyworld for the convenience and low prices but after comparing I've realized that I can actually get higher quality, healthier products at Sprouts and it's even more convenient and priced well too! I had to buy a couple of items that only Sprouts carries so I decided to give this location another go. It seems to have upped their game on service. The staff in the vitamin area are amazing. I was able to get some viable solutions to an issue. There are 2 new cashiers at the front who were very nice and I really appreciated how friendly and helpful they were. The store is clean and well stocked as always. I did notice several prices that have increased. Although all grocery prices have gone up, I feel Sprouts is no longer a bargain compared to places such as Trader Joe's and Aldi, like they used to be. I shop at this store frequently, it's became my favorite store for all of my healthy needs. Store is well stocked, very clean, and everyone that works here is so pleasant and nice. Sprouts is ok. The produce deals seem less impressive than they used to be. They have a good selection of bulk items. I'm glad they largely stopped pre-bagging the bulk goods. The store is clean. The popular produce is pretty good. Can't comment on the meat or pantry item quality because the prices are beyond my budget. I do sometimes get Asian ingredients here but don't go there if you're making Mexican. The tomatillos are tiny and shriveled and they often only have like 3 poblanos out at a time. I love the bulk spices at sprouts. Buy what you need and don't end up with extra. I have a friend who even takes her measuring spoons to Sprouts with her so she can measure out the exact amount she needs! This is a plus. Today they had canned coconut cream on sale for 50 cents a can which was AMAZING and I bought 30 cans. Some of the baggers are pretty slow. I appreciate the fact that they don't force you into self checkout like walmart has done but I also wonder how much they could decrease their labor costs by hiring less people who work faster. Plan for kind of a wait at checkout, even if there's no line. Last negative, I read that they are getting rid of free plastic bags and replacing them with bags 10x as thick (and charging for them). I'm not sure how this helps the environment. If one thin plastic bad is bad for the environment, is a bag using 10x more plastic any better just because you stuck it to the customer with a 10 cent fee? I don't know. Today I found a few new things in this sprouts...like fake tortilla made of eggs. I grabbed them -- worth a try. Usually in sprouts, nobody talks to me. Even if I say "excuse me", nothing. However, today a sprouts employee (not one at the checkouts) actually asked if I needed help with anything. Either I looked confused, or he was the genuine article of a good customer service employee. And he sold me on getting frozen blueberries - which was great since I couldn't find any in the produce section. read more

I am tired of grocery stores that have poor service and high prices. Now that is over since I found Sprouts in Hurst, Texas! As soon as I walked in a very nice lady asked me if I wanted a sample of some chips. I gladly accepted and they were delicious, so I put them in my cart. The store is very clean and all of the employees say hello when you walk by. The produce department looks like a real farmers market and all of the food is in a nice pretty row. I was able to find many things that I put into my cart. The checkout lady was very friendly and fast. A nice man even asked if I needed help out to the car. Great shopping if you need specialty items and fresh produce; but I had a horrible experience checking out just recently. The checker went so fast I didn't have time to apply my coupon and then the bag boy THREW AWAY my iced latte without even asking if I was finished! Then when I mentioned both items the cashier and bagboy just looked at me with DUMB STARES and no apologies! WOW! They were both young kids that probably just wanted the line to get cleared out fast - so I forgive them as they "know not what they did." I will never shop here again. I just saw a woman in line being yelled at by a manager for not having her mask over her nose. It's hot in there, it's hard to breathe and if you wear glasses like I do then it's hard to see. The treatment of that customer was so uncalled for. That manager should be fired. Absolute pieces of garbage. I have a medical exemption from masks and they still called the police on me and my 2 year old AFTER I was done getting all of my groceries. I had a full cart, nobody had said anything to me until I was done. They refused to check me out and called the police when I said I wouldn't leave until I was served. F these people. Absolutely love this Sprouts! I came here for a company demo and just enjoy the staff and the store overall. Everyone here is so welcoming and kind. Any questions I had were always answered or someone would find someone who could. I was looking for their pumpkin spice almond butter and could not find it and instead of just brushing me off they found someone who happened to just be opening a box and they gave me one! Their selection of produce is so amazing! Everything looks fresh and it always at competitive prices compared to other stores. The best day to shop is on Wednesday as it is double ad Wednesday. So, you get the sales from last week and the upcoming week on the same day. Some Wednesdays I feel like they are just giving food away! You can spend $25 and come away with food for the rest of the week or longer! Also, I love that they have a great selection of bulk items and they allow you to sample before you buy! I always take a sample with me to go of their white chocolate covered cashwews!! Sooo delcious!! Definitely come to this Sprouts or any Sprouts and you will find good food for a good deal!! read more

This sprouts is really lacking in quality compared to others in the area and across states. Three separate times I've gone, a premade item has been made incorrectly or tasted old than other sprouts. I get the Corn chowder often from multiple different sprouts and I've never had corn chowder taste like it did from this sprouts. It was like they used the cheddar soup from the broccoli cheddar and just put potatoes in it. It was different color than normal and tasted completely wrong. The second time was getting sushi, which Sprouts has the best grocery store sushi but the sushi from this one tasted old and the rice was so hard. The third instance is when I got a caesar salad and the caesar dressing had also been made incorrectly. I get this all of the time from other sprouts and it has never once tasted or looked like the one I got. It was watery and didn't even taste like a caesar dressing. I couldn't even eat my salad after I put it on. It was disgusting. I never leave reviews and I'm a die hard sprouts shopper but I just wanted someone from management to see this to figure out why this has happened because I've never seen such inconsistency in a sprouts before. read more

Good location in the heart of mid cities for those of you that live over here. I work close by so I'll stop in for a kombucha or quick bite. This is one of the bigger Sprouts stores that I've been to and they are fully stocked with all the goodies on sale. Fresh produce section, good selection of meats and I just adore the bulk section. I could spend a great deal of time grabbing chia seeds, steel cut oats and such. I also actually really love their magazines too! What's not to love about Sprouts? It's an abundant amount of healthy, affordable yumminess under one roof, along with one of the most varied supplement and natural personal remedies in the area. Love that it promotes and seems to cater to eating fresh with limited packaged products. And the packed items they offer, many are gluten-free! This one is equal to the others I've been to in size, same specialty and brands items, but didn't downsize spatially. They're just under 2 miles from another big win for the neighborhood, which may be cutting into their business/grand opening. I spotted Sprouts on the way home, not realizing they were opening in the area, what a great surprise! I stopped by around 7'ish pm and was equally surprised by how few people were shopping. But again, seems to cater to cooking at home and the other seems to cater to those looking to grab prepared items (and is always busy it seems). I would think there's enough interest to support both, targeting different audiences not to mention the price difference for staple items. And while Sprouts offers many staples for less, the one downside I noticed is they don't carry near the local items or grassfed if that's important to you. Both offer wines from various wineries, olive bar, fresh butcher cuts, great bulk item selection, and prepared to go, but if entertaining or want upgraded items, the other is your best bet. Worth mentioning, Sprouts seems to offer more produce for less but many items are from south of the boarder. Last bit, if you've never shopped Sprouts, they don't carry the popular national junk foods like soft drinks, baked fake goods and candy chemical crap (thankfully!) I just can't get over my love for this store. I mostly go for the produce; they hooked me with double deal Wednesdays last summer, when avocados and mangos were unbelievably cheap (I'm talking 4 for a dollar; they have to be losing money). There are plenty of high-end groceries, like organic meat and imported cheese, but if I'm careful I can keep my bill pretty low. The Sprouts brand products seem pretty affordable, so I pick them up as staples, and I buy whatever fruits and veggies are on sale. Meat goes in my cart when it's on special, and I've gotten whole pork shoulders for $1/lb more than once, and recently picked up grass-fed beef for $3/lb. I haven't seen eggs cheaper anywhere else, at $1.39 for 18 (well, maybe Aldi), and they have reasonably affordable yogurt and milk, plus delicious, delicious kefir. The bulk aisles have nuts, dried fruits, beans, grains, candy, snacks, and granola at a wide range of prices. They've been running fantastic sales on walnuts lately at $4/lb, and their dried figs, raisins, apricots, and ginger are of excellent quality. I also buy black and pinto beans, risotto, popcorn, and grits here; I don't think they're cheaper than elsewhere, but it's convenient to pick up most of my groceries in one spot. I get my coffee at Sprouts, and because of their bulk system, I can try just a little bit of different beans to see if I like them before I commit. Small shadows in a mostly sunny place: I've gotten very dry sausage from them. Love that they make it themselves, but I wish it was a little juicier. And maybe it's just me, but I can't find a great way to go through the store without backtracking at some point; the cheese and olive displays make it a little awkward, so shopping takes longer. It's also a small footprint store, so they don't have very many choices on most things, and don't carry some items at all, like one time I couldn't find pita chips. Still, it's totally worth going, as I've proven by returning week after week. Because of Sprouts, I look forward to grocery shopping. read more

For some reason Google Map show this in Colleyville not Hurst. That said I like this little chain more so than Whole Foods. It's smaller and seems friendlier. The lines move fairly quickly. While some prices are higher than Krogers on exact products some things like shorter lines and different choices of merchandise bring me back. There is a rack of discounted merchandise that is in the hallway outside the bathrooms in the rear of the store. Who doesn't like bargains ? We came here about 4 on Friday before Halloween and near the registers was a rack that had some minature skulls with small cacti in them. They were $ 10 marked down to 99 cents. They were more in line with Mexico's Day of the Dead which is from Oct 31st to Nov 2nd. I bought one of the 4. When we got home Patty liked it a lot. We went back 24 hours later intending to buy any remaining, no luck. However there were a spook and a skeleton for .99 that we scooped up. They require some amounts of water but it's minimal care. I have always had a black thumb but I think I've learned not to overwater. Patty likes the shredded chicken as well so I think we'll be coming here more often. One thing I've heard is ever since Amazon bought Whole Foods, the service that people were used to has gone way down. read more

My husband and I shop at this Sprouts regularly, and we love the produce and the deals they have. However, what's keeping me from giving four or five stars is that the customer service is not always that fantastic. For example, my husband was at the meat market section recently and ordered three salmon fillets. The man behind the counter, with a rather rude tone of voice, said, "You know that's the price for EACH, right?" My husband replied by saying, "Yes, I can read the sign, thank you." That kind of condescending and scathing tone in customer service is never appreciated. read more

While I do enjoy the great prices on produce at sprouts today when I went to get my groceries I was greeted by a 30.06 sign and a 30.07 this made me a little disappointed as I had to walk back to my car and disarm myself then having to go back inside the grocery store to finish my shopping. While sprouts it does have cheaper prices on produce against most of the competitors in the DFW area I don't think I'll be shopping here any longer due to this issue of taking my right a way of being allowed to carry a firearm. Its just a little disappointing that the upper echelon of Sprouts feel necessary to disarm the public that are the very people who come to shop at their locations. Not allowing us the option of choosing to carry a weapon for self defense I think is very important and Im sure most of the farmers they receive produce from would most likely agree. read more

This is such a great store!! I started coming here when I was on a health kick one time and kept coming back. The freshest produce, a million varieties of nuts and granola, great low sugar options...all for less money than their Whole Foods or Central Market counterparts. I like to wait until the flyer comes in the mail and then plan my trip based on the sales. Everything is way better than what you'd find at a normal grocery store. higher prices, yes, but you get what you pay for. We got a roast here a couple of weeks ago...one of the best I've ever had. Sprouts is basically an amalgamation of a health food store, Whole Foods, and Aldi. Their strongest suite is the produce department. The prices for on sale items are heads and shoulders better than the competition. They have a full service meat and seafood counter but the quality is a bit lacking, that being said you can get whole red snapper for $6.99 a pound, compared to the $11.99 @ Central Market and Whole Foods. They do not carry USDA prime beef, but their choice beef selection is okay. The bakery has what you'd expect plus loads of sprouted and gluten free breads, though their store brand Artisan loaves are just mediocre. Their bulk selection is priced aggressively but I think Central and Whole Foods beat them hands down in this department. This particular location is new and as a result looks very well maintained and I hope it stays this way but other Sprouts locations look somewhat rundown. There are also some very serious drawbacks of shopping there. Mainly not everything is priced on the low side and not everything is the freshest. Fresh fish there is scaled before it's put out on display, this isn't a great move as it accelerates the rate of decay. To be frank I've gotten fish from here that definitely weren't completely fresh, and when I've asked the staff about when the fish arrived they all plead ignorance. I find the seafood and meat department here to be on par with other lower end super markets like Tom Thumb and Kroger but they don't stack up well against the premium chains. The best way to describe Sprouts is a situational grocery store worth putting into your rotation, primarily for cheap plentiful vegetables and fruits. It sort of reminds me of a more upscale version of Sack and Save. read more

I love Sprouts! Healthy eats at a reasonable price, a great selection of produce, and tons of healthy foods. This particular Sprouts store seems to have more popular items in stock compared to other Sprouts throughout the metroplex. I should know since I have shopped at practically every Sprouts from Dallas to Fort Worth and in between. This is a decent Sprouts. I usually go to the one in Coppell which is laid out very similarly. The produce was inexpensive and most other grocery options were moderately priced. You can usually find what you're looking for in a lower price point, but I will say I'm not paying $10.99 for Fair Trade instant coffee when I can get twice as much for a third of the price (on sale) elsewhere. If you've never been to a Sprouts, they specialize in whole, natural foods, as well they have an array of vitamins, supplements, as well as bath and body products that follow that same principle. Items are easy-to-find, some of the veggies looked a little tired. The cashiers in Coppell are way friendlier so if you're big on hospitality after taking care of exhausting necessities, just plan not to have a conversation with anyone. Goat grocery store. Literally the stone cold Steve Austin of health food stores. This place really made health food accessible to me with great sales and deals. There's always new products to discover and try. The produce section is great and they have plenty of bulk bins for candy oats granola and nuts. I always stick my hands in and grab a few. I can't tell if they noticed and let it slide or if I'm getting away with it. Either way it is completely unsanitary and I always feel disgusted with myself after I do it. I drive by this sprouts everyday on my way to work. I stop in about once every few weeks to pick up different items. Every time their produce is always lacking. This last time, the nectarines were all horrible. There were bugs crawling out of the nectarines. The peaches were littered with gnats. The tomatoes were pretty much bad. I only went in there for those few items. Who knows what other issues the produce had. I have seen the tubs of tomatoes growing mold, the cilantro almost black, the mushrooms were all bad and soggy. I can not justify stopping by that store anymore. It is not just a few bad days. read more
