Old brands and new brands you won't find at any other stores. They carry green tomatoes, which is great to use to make fried green tomatoes, a staple from the south. It's much different from tomatillos. There are big green tomatoes and a 4 pack of reddish-green tomatoes. I saw old brands that they used to carry in stores while I was a little girl. Still being sold. They have cornish hens, liver cheese, and much more! I love that they have large bags of fries, nuggies, and big boxes of frozen goods for an amazing price. In the morning and around lunch time, the in-store chefs perfectly cook a scrumptious breakfast that's so good. You have to get to the store early before noon to get it. There is typically a line, too. Around lunch time before 4:00 pm, they have homecooked meals. It is delicious! The cooks really know what they are doing and it is affordable. When entering the grocery store, be sure not to shy away of the stinky stench upon entering. It smells bad, but dissipates as you continue to walk away from that area. Was unable to pay for one of my needed prescriptions because the insertion machine at the pharmacy kept showing it had a problem with the chip in my bank card. Folks, I assure you, there's not a problem with my card's chip. This had been building for about two to three years, as nearly every time I've gone through the self-checkout, the insertion scanner would reject it at least once or twice before finally accepting it. I angrily drove to Kroger after leaving thoroughly incensed and purposely bought a few groceries with it. Kept the receipt in case I build up the energy to ever reenter this location. Once again, they need to rip up all the tech in the building and get some tapper machines in there. Lord knows Walmart has the money to do so.

This was the only store in Terry and it didn't have a produce or fridge/freezer section. It now carries that & more! It is organized, cleaner, and the u-boats are placed outside in front of the store. The old Dollar General was a hot spot where I saw a lot of my classmates and high school people's inside shopping and working. So everyday was a reunion! At this new one, I rarely see high schoolers working inside and don't recognize any of them. I applaud you Dollar General for stepping up your A game and building this store.
