I am genuinely disappointed with my recent experience at Kroger. In a time when most companies are upgrading with A.I. systems and smart customer-service solutions, it is surprising and frustrating to encounter employees who show poor attitude and a lack of professionalism. I understand that everyone works hard and everyone has personal stress. But stress is never an excuse to take it out on customers. Customers come to shop, spend their money, and they deserve basic respect: courtesy, professionalism, and proper service especially from a major American brand like Kroger. The United States is a modern, civilized country. Don't let a few unprofessional employees damage the company's reputation. If an employee feels unhappy with their job or no longer wants to serve people, then consider leaving the position instead of bringing negativity into every customer interaction. Working in customer service means serving customers, not mistreating them. Kroger needs to upgrade its training system, integrate A.I. monitoring, and take employee attitude evaluations more seriously. Some staff members clearly have a long history of poor service, and it shows. I'm writing this hoping Kroger will improve so that customers and the great employees who actually care don't suffer because of a few individuals who don't respect the job or the people they serve. read more

This particular Kroger it's definitely not like other Kroger supermarkets that I have been to. The inside is dirty and cramped and the establishment has definitely seen better days. Service was friendly at checkouts and I was able to grab a few waters for tonight at the hotel. I am a fan of Kroger, just not this particular location. read more

This place smelled like sewage. We left our basket and ran out. There was water on the bare concrete floor which I can only imagine what it was. Totally disgusting. read more

The entire building just smells musty. None of the fruits they had on display were ripe. Asked an employee where something was and he laughed and said "maybe look at the signs". Then when we went to go checkout, the cashier used her own phone number. when i asked her about it, she caught an attitude with me saying "its too late i would have to rescan everything you got and thatll take a long time. your total was $115 can you pay?" after i payed, she practically threw the receipt at me. Her name was Nelda. Do not go in Neldas line. She should honestly be fired for using her own kroger number. read more

This Kroger has definitely seen better days. It's been here forever. It's not very large, the selection is not the best, and its age really shows. With that being said, there are some really friendly employees here. Going to this store almost feels like stepping back in time to a slower, kinder world. read more

if i could give this location 0 stars i would . i am 23, my fiancé is 22 . we went in at 9:51 pm on saturday march 30 2024, for any managers reading this :), to purchase some coronas and absolute seltzers (as adults do) . while ringing it up in self checkout my fiance prepared his license before calling over a staff member to verify us for purchase, called her over and had to twice because she was on her phone . she gave us a dirty look before she walked over, took his license and looked at it for a second and proceeded to tell my 22 year old fiancé that his license was not real . obviously we were confused . we tried to tell her it was, she responded "it's not reflecting this is not real sir" . he asked to speak with a manager or someone higher up to which she said she was the manager . without asking for a second opinion or taking a second look she told us she could not sell to us . we argued for a second and then left to the gas station across the street where we were allowed by the clerk to purchase what we wanted with the same id . we will not be returning to this location due to the lack of professionalism, respect . this pearl location is also dirty, unorganized, never stocked, has poor produce, and sells expired items that should've been removed from the shelves, so this was just the tipping point . do not go to the kroger in pearl . take your business elsewhere like brandon or flowood whom have nicer people, a nicer environment, kept up and taken care of well etc . i will be calling corporate to complain as well !! :) this was definitely discrimination !! read more

Smells like sewage so so bad. They need to clean the floors where the water is all over the ground because I'm assuming that's where the smell is coming from. The customer service is usually great but that smell will run the customers out. read more

Excellent grocery store. My wife and I love Kroger. Excellent quality of food, affordable prices, and friendly staff if you need anything. I would also venture to say that Kroger brand food items are usually (not always) just as good as name brand. The Kroger granola bars have been the only mishap I've encountered. They also have plenty of coupons available for download on the phone app. read more

Last week I ordered groceries from the Kroger in Pearl. They were delivered within the timeframe that we had discussed my problem is I ordered three bananas they were all bruised and brown on the inside I ordered one small container of spinach to make spinach salad I got three who in the world is going to eat three containers of spinach when it's just one person in the household before it ruins The person that delivered the order was just slightly less than friendly and I had to actually ask them to bring the sex of groceries into my house I am on a fixed income and I cannot afford to have bad bananas or three bags of fresh spinach delivered to me when I only ordered one this was unfair. I have shopped many times like this from Walmart they deliver on time I have no problem with anything they bring everything is fresh and good. This was a very bad experience and I will not order again from Kroger even though it's less than 2 miles from my house I will continue to order from Walmart even though it's farther and they give me better service. I'm sorry that this did not work out because I've always thought of that Kroger being a sweet neighborhood grocery store and it's a shame that he hast to turn into this what one person is going to do with three boxes of spinach in one week I have no idea. This is by far THE WORST grocery store; the prices are INSANE compared to other Kroger's and selection is the equivalent of a food pantry! Customer service is abominable---except for a few friendly employees who cashier. Everything I buy on a regular basis is almost ALWAYS out of stock. The store leaks when it rains and the floor gets wet, causing slipping. It is an eyesore inside & out. So-called "markdowns" still reflect exorbitant prices.This place should be completely demolished & rebuilt into a super Kroger. read more

I hope this review gets to the proper administration. This review is for Sarah at the customer service center in Jacksonville, Fl. this afternoon I called with help finding a upc code for a specific Levi jacket purchased a couple weeks ago for my nephew that is autistic. Unfortunately the jacket was taking from another child in the child development class and my sister did not keep the receipt thinking that because of the rewards card the information was there in her app. When my nephew realized his coat was missing he screamed and screamed. If you know anything about autism you know they are very particular about their things. This all occurred while driving from Oregon to Utah and not a Fred Meyer in sight. So me being the nice Aunt I went to a couple different Fred Meyers trying to find the same jacket but unfortunately when I called the customer care they were unable to show the upc code on the receipt. Sarah is amazing she actually called the store where it was purchased in Oregon and had them list all upc codes for every color and style of jacket in medium that they have in stock or carry. She then relayed those upc codes to me so Was able to break it down and make the right purchase in Utah. The amount of time she spent with me on the phone was above and beyond. She not only helped with the solution her overall compassion and understanding for the situation I was in was the best customer service I have ever been offered. She not only listened to me be confused and concerned for my nephew she kept t me calm by the action she took. I believe you get 2 things with a first impression. 1) you only get one and 2) It lasts forever. Today I was able to purchase the exact item from a another state in without even knowing anything but that it was a Levi trucker jacket cost of 69.99. I thought because of the variety of colors and styles I was going to end up buying 8 different jackets at the cost of 70.00. Which really worried me but because of her amazing attention to detail. I only had to buy 2 and luck be have it one of them was the right one and what was very long 16 hour drive for my sister was finally reversed into happiness when she arrived and I had the jacket. Ya so I shopped for groceries this Monday, 06/20/16 at this Kroger with my family and the food selection was good. I'm Hispanic so I took alot of vegetables to make pico de Gallo (approximately 6 ingredients) besides about 12 other products. I got in the 15 items or less lane and a cashier by the name of Wanda helped us. I guess she was in a bad mood or something because she was throwing our items to the side once she rang them up. She was very bothered about something. Idk what it was but I paid my $70 DLLs and told her "Have a wonderful day!". Bad customer service from her. Customer service at this store has gotten horrible. For the most part, the cashiers are friendly, but to get service at the customer service desk is less than desirable. I have stood in line there numerous times wishing someone would come help me. Employees just walk by and look and keep going. Several times lately, I have gotten home to discover that I was charged the wrong price or an item I had purchased was not in my bags!! So, I have to turn around and burn more gas to go back and hope I can get someone to wait on me without having to stand in line.
