Had a very rude staff when I went in , I don't know what it is but Sunbury pharmacy has always been like this . I walked up to the counter to ask a question. The gate was down so I knew the pharmacist wasn't in but my question was just about reading off the ingredients I'm half blind and was having a hard time reading the ingredients label to a medication for my first pregnancy. I always have to read because I'm allergic to a certain ingredient and they didn't have the brand I normally get so all I was gonna ask is the ingredients was on the back of the box . I tried telling the young lady behind the counter that but got interrupted 3 times with her saying " pharmacist will be back at 1:30 " I told her I understand but ... and again she told me " pharmacist will be back at 1:30 " and when I tried to tell her what I needed she did it again. So I'm super glad that a customer was able to help me rather than an employee. The store is amazing but I always have issues with the pharmacy. read more

I do not agree with the rating or comments from Yelp viewer Louis K! Obviously if you go to any Kroger store during peak hours, there may be a wait in line, however the drive thru goes quickly if you are in a hurry. I have been going to this Kroger Pharmacy for years. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. I have no reservations at all about recommending this Kroger Pharmacy! Whether you are a new customer or a regular customer, you will always be treated with a professional and welcoming attitude. I've only had to wait a couple of times in line and that was during the holidays. I also don't think it's a hardship if you have to wait 5 minutes in line when you have the option of going thru the drive thru which does go faster because usually if the wait in line in the store is longer than 5 minutes it was because customers asked questions about their medications or needed clarification on something, not because of the speed or efficiency of the staff. I also don't think it is unreasonable to have to wait in line at any business in Delaware county since this is the fastest growing county in Ohio! The Pharmacists are all very knowledgeable and have always shown that they care about me as a customer and explain important prescription information to me ie) drug interactions, etc...and make sure I understand what I need to know about my medications. The head Pharmacist Sesame ALWAYS asks me how I'm doing and I appreciate that. She treats her customers like friends and not like just a number. And all the Pharmacists that work for her do the same. All the Pharmacy techs also have this caring attitude towards customers and always ask if I have any questions about my medications or if I need to speak to the Pharmacist on duty. Also just an FYI, the Kroger Pharmacy website is very easy to use and refilling your medications is a breeze. It is 10 times easier to use than CVS pharmacy website which is very convoluted and poorly designed. read more

Absolutely the worst and most under staffed Kroger I've ever been to. You can't check out here without waiting in line for literally 20+ minutes. We moved from hilliard where the Kroger always had plenty of cashiers. The manager always hides In the back. I've talked to him and told him how disappointing it is that there is always a wait. Unprofessional, close before they are supposed to, and release incorrect prescriptions. Poor attitude when approached with these issues.

I have been to this Kroger pharmacy over 200 times I would say and likely 10 years or longer. They have had some people that have been there for most of that time (retention is a good sign) and are always very friendly. In general, I have been in line less than 10-15 minutes every time, and that's for complex orders, orders I just dropped off that day, orders I put in while I was shopping, orders I called in, picked up from the drive thru or at the counter. Literally the gamut. If they know it will take longer, they will let me know. They also give text messages to let me know when the Rx is ready. If there is no one in line it might take less than 5 minutes to check out. For all of the issues that I have had (multiple & different insurances, using discount cards, using online coupons, complex orders for pain medications that require insurance approval) they have come through with flying colors and have ALWAYS helped me no matter what the issue. That is why, of the 20 or so Rx places around, including one that is right up the road a stones throw away, we go to Kroger. They are usually the cheapest if not, very very close to the cheapest. Have they made mistakes? Yes of course they have, but in every case, they have made it right, and that is the only real thing you can base a review on. Their pharmacists and assistants are not rude. One day last week, I remember calling them, they picked up immediately, I told them that I was having a really bad migraine, was out of medicine and could they quickly refill it. Upon leaving, I remember them saying "I hope you feel better!" Now...they remembered me from my phone call 15 minutes prior, they had the medicine ready by the time I arrived, and on top of that remembered the conversation. That's not much..but you know...it is. Naysayers and one star people... People that give one star reviews are usually just bitter people and I wish they could be vetted. Of course there are exceptions, but I would rather hear about all of your experiences rather than specific ones. Like, I had one glass of wine and there was a fly in it, one star, don't go here!! The other 30 times I drank there, I drank like a fish, but I decided to tell everyone about the fly only. Can you really say that every single prescription you've picked up at this pharmacy has been poorly handled? 1 out of 10? Or every time? Information such as where you came from, what town you grew up in, how you butter and eat your toast are unreasonable facts that can be left out. Bad batches of medicine? I can't even understand how that can happen with the way medicines are processed checked, double checked and triple checked. But again, the pharmacy is not 100% infallible. These are regular people trying to do their best at a job. If they came back and said, too bad, we sometimes give out bad medicine time to time...DO NOT go back (I'm sure this wasn't the case). Standing in line? I note that the date of that review is on New Years Day (nothing else to do?) All places are going to be short staffed from time to time (holidays in particular, black plague day, Amazon prime day........) issues will occur, etc, it all depends on how your company does during that time that makes a difference. Let's say picking up a Rx takes 20 minutes. Whoa! Wait a darn dozen minutes...did you say a whole 20 minutes? :| Unsure what pharmacy has a baton full of medicine and running shoes on waiting for you to sprint through the checkout line. Let's be reasonable people. This is a good pharmacy 99% of the time. 1% is a fact of life. Give reasonable reviews. read more

The absolute WORST pharmacy ever! Not only are the employees rude, but they consistently make mistakes when filling medications and processing insurance! My husband has a seizure disorder and due to their multiple mistakes he has had 2 separate seizure episodes from their filling mistakes and one from a bad batch of expired medicine. If you value your life, you should avoid this pharmacy at all cost!! read more
