All of the employees that work in the pharmacy are extremely rude and disrespectful. They act like you are bothering them. They do no want to help you in any way get to the root of any problems. Do not even bother to ask a question because you will get a huff and an eye roll. No one can seem to explain why they do not have a drug or why it takes so long to order a drug. Just an awful place to have to get my prescriptions from. Definitely looking to switch to Walgreens. read more

Too many mistakes this pharmacy is very busy and I'm sure they're working hard but there are too many mistakes that are a risk. I specifically asked about drug interactions and obviously the pharmacist couldn't be bothered to double check, and obviously the computer system isn't set up properly to identify risks of combined medicines I was on. glad my doctor flagged it for me. read more

Such a horrible customer service. Was trying to make purchases using a manufacture coupon. 2 workers - Kathryn and another lady who's name I don't remember but the name tag said she is from the management team - were acting highly disrespectful and unprofessional. They were trying to move me from the register, saying "have fun with her" to each other and apologized for me in front of other customers. Friendly 5-star; since I visit this particular CVS about once a week and have been so impressed over the years with this location I have to give them the top rating. The overall response to the virus and safeguards while increasing the wages of employees were all big wins! The fact that CVS is staying open and have increased the opportunity to purchases through the drive-in option have all been positive. The pricing increases through the lack of coupons and offers as well as putting limits on items that have nice deals is not appreciated. For example, if I can only purchase 1 hand soap yet you have a $5 off coupon to purchase 2? In addition you still have offers on TP, hand soaps, etc that you are unable to get the collective CVS bucks. Really appreciate the membership program as well as all the coupons.... keep it up so I don't have to go to a new drug store in the future. The Pharmacist Ben needs to get her his act together. he's extremely rude and didn't notate important information about a certain medication I take on a daily basis. I called to have it filled and he claimed I had no refills left which I knew was incorrect he explained to me that they had given me a 3 month last time I picked it up when in reality he ga e me 30 days. when I told him he didn't believe me so I had to get in my car and take the prescription bottle to CVS pharmacy to prove he did indeed give me 30 days and not the 90 days he claimed he gave me. fast forward 3 months later called to have my prescription filled again and the same pharmacist Ben answered my call mind you this is Christmas Eve I ask for my same prescription to be filled and he once again said oh I'm sorry you have no refills. I then tell him do you not remember that we had this issue 3 months ago and you assured me that you notated it in my prescription account so this would be an issue when it came time to refill it again, he said no and basically made it sound like I was being dishonest mind you this prescription IS NOT a controlled substance it's not a pain killer it's just an everyday prescription that I have to take and not miss! Due to his his negligence of not notating my account due to his screwup three months prior that he claimed he did and said there wouldn't be any issues the next time It was due to be refilled I had to call my physician's emergency line number and they had to contact her ON CHRISTMAS EVE to explain to her what happened and have her call me in a new prescription! Thank God I have an amazing Doctor and she was so sweet about and said it was no problem at all and called the script in for me. The issue I have with this is that it's Christmas Eve and I had to contact my physician on her off hours not to mention bother her on a Holiday when she was out of town visiting her family! Although she was good about it this should have never happened in the first place. Ben the pharmacist on two occasions acted like I was being dishonest with him about a simple prescription I take daily again mind you it is NOT A CONTROLLED substance if it were maybe I could be a little more understanding, but this was his negligence not mine and he had the audacity to be extremely rude and actually laughed as I told him was due to his negligence from not notating my account like he said he did. I'm sorry Ben that you have to work on Christmas Eve it was obvious the way you were rude immediately after answering my call that you didn't want to be there but the way you handled these two incidents that were due to your own incompetence was completely not acceptable and unprofessional. I also will add that this CVS in Lewis Center on Old State which I have always used for over 10 years even when there have been other issues in the past had a female Pharmacist that was absolutely amazing I never had any issues with she never once screwed up in the time she was there and always went out of her way to help if there was an issue with a prescription she was always so professional and kind! I dont know why she's not there anymore but @CVS need to get her back in and pay her a high salary, Im clearly not the only one who had had issues with this CVS location because they have a 2.3 rating which screams CVS Corporate needs to look into why they have such a poor rating! As far as I'm concerned I'll be pulling all my business from this CVS and taking it to another store entirely. I do a ton of business with this pharmacy and I'm done with the insane issues I have every single time it time for a refill for any of my family members. read more

Pharmacy workers are overwhelmed and overworked everywhere. However this store additionally ignores vaccine appointments and will get to them when they get to them. Don't waste your time thinking that a store that is designed to get RXs filled cares at all about your shot. read more

This was my "Home" CVS for 4 years straight. I lived walking distance from it and knew all employees on a first name basis. I guess you can say if anyone can appropriately rate this store it's me. The interior is ALWAYS clean, organized and well presented. I love the clearance section most especially after a major holiday like Valentine's Day when I stock up on discounted chocolate for the year lol. Prices compared to grocery stores are typically more expensive but if you sign up for their emails you will receive 25-30% off coupons regularly. Then, it's much cheaper. Pharmacy is great, timely, And professional. I wish it was easier to access from westbound Polaris Pkwy. Anyway, it's a drug store. read more

I usually go to CVS on South Old State Road, Lewis Center, OH 43035; however, this review applies to any/all locations and comes from corporate policy. My complaint. the first time I received this I was ecstatic ... having relocated moved in recently I had a long list of household and kitchen items that I needed... such things as shampoo & rinse, kitchen products, medicinal products, dental products, etc. I loaded up a cart totally $145 and went to the checkout with the mailer coupon in hand. The cashier said, "oh, this item, that item, that item, ... didn't apply. And she showed me the fine print. Fine print: * Exclude sale items. ** Other exclusions apply. *** maximum $99. **** Valid through month/date/year (reasonable). Tax applied on original purchase price were required (not a CVS problem). As the cashier went through all 37 items only 4 were eligible for the 25% off price. All of the others were marked down to a sale price typically 5 - 10% off the sticker price. After paying I retraced my tracks through the store and found the sale markers on the items that were not eligible. A week after the sale I came back and found that all of those items were not normally on sale. This is clearly a bait and switch tactic - and shame on you CVS, I used to like you a lot, preferring you over Walgreens, Discount Drug, Krogers, all others. Dear CVS, I'm breaking up with you. At 9:20 AM on September 5, 2012 I was the sole customer in this CVS pharmacy on S. Old State Rd. I was there to fill a prescription needed for my two-year-old son. I approached the pharmacy counter where a young mixed-race female was standing and shuffling some papers around. Busy with her inanimate papers she refused to greet me. She played the game of, "If I pretend long enough that you're not there, maybe you'll disappear." I continued to stand there long enough for it to become awkward. She finally looked up at me, her face seeming to communicate "Gad, you're still here," and in a flat disdainful voice said, "I'll be with you in a minute." She then continued to busy herself with her inanimate papers instead of greeting and serving the human, breathing, customer who stood before her. Trying to be understanding I waited a bit longer as she continued to look at her papers then walk away. I got the hint, and left. I then began shopping for 3-5 minutes and went to the front counter to purchase my items. Lo and behold, no one was standing at the front counter either. I called out "Hello?," and a distant voice yelled back to me "I'll be there in a second!" Frustrated I yelled back, "It seems that everyone is too busy to help a customer!" The distant voice yelled back, "I'm helping a customer right now!!!" At which point, I walked out of the store, empty handed and unserved. So with that, I have decided to treat CVS with the same level of respect that they had for me. The young pharmacy tech will finally get her wish, I will disappear...along with my consumer dollars and these words of warning for any other consumer. I am a creature of habit. I have been a loyal CVS customer since I moved to Ohio in 2005. But this experience has shown me this relationship is one-sided. I continue to be loyal. They continue to that me like a doormat. I am sure I will find no difficulty in transferring my prescriptions and purchasing vitamins and make-up at at an establishment that will smile when they take my hard-earned, meticulously budgeted consumer dollars. I have been there twice and its time i was told it would take 30 to 1 hour for my medicine to be ready to be picked up,but 1 hour plus later I was told again that my medicine are still not ready yet, so they advice me to pull around the building and it would be done shortly, so i've done exactly was i was told, and guess what! long and behold they finally got it filled, but only after waiting additional 30 plus min in addition of the initial 1 1/2 hours wait from the earlier drop off. They are most unorganize and slowest SVC store in columbus ohio. If you want to use this Pharmacy and does'nt mind to wait awhile to receive your medication, then good luck to you. Fool me ones shame on me, but, fool twice shame on me, and i am sure they're will never be third, or ever!!! I WOULD NOT or WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CVS PHARMACY location to anyone i know. Piece of advice to all the consumers that are planning to come in to this Old state Lewis Center location, you're better off taking your business elsewhere and i will guaranty, you will be happy getting a great service from another drug store besides this CVS drug store. read more
