I was under the impression that a Kroger Signature would be at least a little bit upscale. Maybe this location is in transition. That being said it was still nice inside and it did appear that they had some parts under construction. Founds everything we needed. It's in a quieter part of Mesquite than we're used to so that was nice. Just a little messy inside otherwise no complaints. It was the day after Thanksgiving after all. Things are just never ending and terrible at this store! Not only do they NEVER have things they say they have in store in stock, but the week of Christmas, they have an ENTIRE section of self check out lanes closed, and only have of the working ones on the opposite side open, so I'm now waiting in a line 15 people long, at least! It's unfortunate they're only 4 min from my dad's, but I AVOID this store as much as possible! read more

I have been a Kroger customer for over 32 years, but my experience on December 5, 2025 at the Mesquite location (525 N Galloway Ave) was extremely disappointing. I arrived at approximately 10:52 PM before the posted 11:00 PM closing time needing only one item: a package of pecans to finish a birthday cake for my mother, who had just survived major surgery and was turning 90. The doors were already locked. The security guard met me at the door & told me I could not enter because they were already closed & because another customer had already been turned away & was still sitting in the parking lot, however, there was no other person in the parking lot at that time. She lied to get me to leave. I asked for the GM's name and she said Dakota. I went back to the door because I saw an employee & she advised me that she was the night manager that the store closes early so the security company does not incur overtime. Security has to get out early, so they purposely close the store early to get everyone out by 11PM so they do not get written up for overtime. Denying customers entry before posted closing hours and providing misleading explanations is unacceptable. The security company should adjust hours and come in later and stay until 11:30PM to cover anything needed. This is a separate issue causing bad service. Kroger should honor its advertised hours and treat all customers with fairness and transparency. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible store layout. And bad customer service would be better than what is there. Only one manned checker available. One set of self check outs closed and the other had one lady trying to keep all six of them running. And all of them kept erroring out. I literally watched her go from one to the next in an endless loop. Needless to say I walked out. I will take my business elsewhere. Would not recommend. read more

The store manager needs to be replaced. I was told by him and the woman working at the customer service desk that this Kroger location does not accept returns and doesn't refund purchases from other Kroger locations. Horrific customer service. I highly do NOT recommend shopping here. read more

Usually I love Kroger Signature stores. This one is rough. The aisles are super narrow and over crowded, stuff was cluttered, and it seemed dirty overall. We ended up driving an additional 15 minutes to another store for a nicer experience. This one is needed a remodel. read more

Its not signature at all. They discriminate. They will pull you out of a long line if your mexican and if you say anything about it will tell you off in front of everyone. americans get to stay in the long lines. Very clean and organized Kroger, considering I'm visiting on a Saturday when stores can get mobbed, and there was a steady crowd of folks. Cudos to the manager, Kimm, who opened, and worked, a register to accommodate the lines that were forming. And bless her heart, while checking me out, she had a number of issues come to her - someone was gonna be late; another employee was headed to cover self-checkout, but then was reassigned to floral; the 1st stall in the men's bathroom had a "plumbing" issue that an employee already attempted to resolve with no luck; and the poor floral department must not have been manned at all because, based on the intercom, they had a call on the line the entire time I was shopping. So the manager had her work cut out for her, but handled it all like a champ and continued to check me out with a smile and a "have a great day!" THAT'S what I'm talking about! read more

HORRIBLE-HORRIBLE Place to shop!!! This place is a DISGRACE to your company, the city and mankind!!! The employees are stupid and rude!!! I'm on a walker now but previously a business owner for 10 years. I can't fathom in my wildest nightmares treating a customer or being treated with such dirtbag disrespect. I left once again without buying anything because of your employees! It's also so dirty, in disarray, and cluttered I can barely get through on a handicap scooter. Me and my family shop here all the time and have been for years!! Today as my sister and I were checking out after finding out that the hair clips we desired to purchase weren't the accurate price that it previously shown. As we were trying to get the employee to void the item, the security guard kept watching us and staring at us. Previously was also following us around at some point in the store. Once the employe voided the item and HE took it behind his desk we left the store. Remind you the security guard was at the front the WHOLE time watching us since we were the only people checking out besides a lady who was leaving. When he got outside we were at our car when he yelled out "Ladies" he came over asking where were the hair clips and said that our section was still left open (which makes sense but it also had the item highlighted red signifying it was taken off and can only be confirmed by an actual employee with the code). I told him let's go back inside and I can show him that we didn't steal anything. When we got inside I grabbed the hair clips and showed them to him which lead him to say "oh" without an apology. We left the store without an argument but it was upsetting being accused when the man had been following and staring at us the WHOLE time we were in there. Also when he called us "ladies" not knowing if we identified as that or not was also out of hand but not as weird as his accusation. Really suggest you guys get a new security guard who ACTUALLY pays attention before making accusations. read more

Overall good store but is super old, janky parking lot. The floors look horrendous,which effects the overall view of the store. Which is probably not Kroger's fault but the city. read more

Very good selection of products, as well as, an eager to help team of employees. They always get you out quickly with fast checkout services. This kroger is the best in mesquite. If you need some groceries, this is the one to go to. You will never have a bad experience in this clean, polite, and friendly atmosphere. read more
