I really love this Kroger mainly for the cheap prices and quantity of different selections. Let's just say if I buy the same thing that I bought here at Publix I would spend way more money. The only thing that I don't like about this store is that it's so commercial and so big and the quality of the store brand food is not the best. If I want quality and great personal service I'm going across the street to Publix. If I want good prices and gasoline I'm coming here. I still shop at both stores equally for those reasons. read more

This Kroger experience stands out from the rest. The parking lot was misleading and left me feeling defeated & terrified. The puddle count was out of hand. The gas station was approximately 5 too many steps from the store. The general aura of this store was intimidating and subordinate. The amount of isles made me feel sick. The self check out doesn't accept cash? I was offended? I don't have a credit card. Discrimination. If I could give less of a star you bet I would honey. read more

Best Kroger in GA! I like it even better than going to the Publix across the street, for the experience and cleanliness and selection. Sushi, Starbucks, huge wine/beer area, great baby section, books, oh my!! I seriously look for reasons to stop by this Kroger because it's so clean, large, and the people are SUPER friendly. Also notable items are the large variety of flowers, and the bakery section is amazing. Their cakes, pastries, they even have flippin canolies. Also if you're not in the mood for a Starbucks (for some crazy reason) you can try a slushie over by the produce. Get the cherry!! I hate that I have to write this because I love, love, love my trusty dusty neighborhood Publix but Kroger nailed it with this store. From the Starbucks inside the front door to the dedicated organic section to the on request fresh sushi to the gourmet cheese and deli selections, nothing is left out of this place. It's almost a tale of two cities as well...if you want to hunker down to some good ol' fashioned stocking of the pantry, the left hand side of the store (as you face it from outside) is your entrance. All business with the pharmacy right there and aisles abounding with all the pantry fodder you can imagine. Go in the right door and you're met with a market style produce section that blends into the deli and cheese shop and even a small housewares department. The organic section is a very pleasant offering and actually comes in handy during ice storm prep runs (local milk hoarders often forget that there is an organic milk section) on day 5 of our last ice storm when the normal milk cooler was bare as ol' mother hubbards cupboards, the organic section was nearly chock full. Anyway, the beer and wine section is second to none with an entire aisle dedicated to each and if you're prepping for a day out on the lake or out in the parks, the "outdoor fun" section in the front/center of the store has all of your floatie, cooler, picnic supply needs. All this, and consistent with their commercial campaign, you'll never have more than one or two people at most in front of you in line at checkout. Well done Kroger, well done. read more

I love this Kroger and the one on Cumming hwy both are top notch.

I will preface this by saying this one of the best Kroger stores around BUT that is not saying much. When it has the products in stock, this store has a better selection than the store closer to my house (Sharon Green) and the employees only look like they are going to a funeral rather than the electric chair, a la Sharon Green. Kroger in general, is one of the WORST stores I have ever shopped at. The most consistent thing about shopping at ANY Kroger is the horrible customer service and miserable employees. This one in particular is simply the lesser of the evils since my husband swears it is cheaper than Publix. read more

This is the nicest Kroger in the area. However, I have had issues with the customer service counter several times. Every week after I get home from shopping, I go over my receipt. If there is a mistake, I will go back the next week and ask to be refunded if overcharged. It happens. Yesterday I was told by the man working the customer service counter that in the future I need to return the item before the sale is over. The reason is because if I don't, the purchase price cannot be verified. I asked him why they don't keep a sales paper handy from the week before or past weeks. He told me once the sale is over they all get thrown away. How stupid is that? Really Kroger, you have no way to verify the price of an item exactly one week previous? That is absolutely ridiculous. It's ridiculous that can't be verified in a computer and it's even more ridiculous that you don't save the sales paper in a file for every single week of the year. When I made this suggestion to him, his response was "well no one else will do it if I don't do it." The apathy of Kroger. I am not normally the type of person to write reviews, but it disturbs me that the worst customer service I have received in the store is always at the customer service desk , the people who are supposed to be experienced, professional Etc in dealing with problems. Maybe next time I have a customer service issue, I should ask the guys in the meat department for help. They are always friendly and professional. read more

One of the nicest grocery stores I have been in. Great produce section

This is a huge store and being new to area and this being my closest grocery , I am loving my every visit. It has nice bakery, deli section and has a Starbucks too. The kitchen appliances and tools section is so cool that you can find modern and stylish flatware to panini grills and kurig coffee machines. The organic section is very good and you could find great products from kolat and justin spreads to gourmet dressings. The store is super clean and grocery is nicely arranged. Great selection in wine and liquor section. I love kroger ' s private selection items especially ice cream and there is good collection. Overall , so happy to have this kroger in our area. read more

Can I give it 0 stars?! Hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They almost killed me at one point, giving me the wrong script that was blatantly all over my file not to give, highly allergic. They always have a new intern working that never knows what they are doing and in over a year of going 3 times a month they have always had a problem, not once just a simple pick up. Always something wrong, never ready on auto refill, insurance expired when it definitely has not, price changes, only half the script is in and many other issues all with the "so sorry, so sad" approach to customer service. If our insurance change hadn't forced us into this pharmacy we never would stay, as it is we are now considering driving 20 mins to any other place. So sad how poorly managed this location is and the store itself is not much better. Never enough lines open, always a wait and good luck finding an employee to help you on the floor. Too big to manage it looks like. Wish they would get it together but they have been this way since opening. read more

Kroger decided to implement some new upgrades and re-engineer their store layout. At first, sounded like a great idea until they changed and rearranged the interior of the store- completely. There was a time I could finish my shopping in 30 minutes. Now, with the changes it takes nearly 50+ minutes. The natural food section is now dispersed throughout the entire store instead of a single location. Same thing happened to "international" items. To make it worse signage is incorrect if any and then they continue to move items to new locations. It's literally like an Easter egg hunt to find Cento tomatoes, which was moved to three different locations- 1st international, 2nd new international isle and now with canned tomatoes. I now have to ask for help from the Manager to find what's on my list. Guess my options are to either use the Click It list or find myself a new grocery store where shopping "is a pleasure" and understands what user experience is all about- the customer. read more

This is the worst Kroger in customer service Ok the management has no customer service skills Every time I have wrote a check at the Kroger the check reader does not work And they write the information down on the check and tend it as cash Last time i was in this Kroger check read once again did not work and so called front end manager was checking me out said in a unfriendly voice my machine will not read your check you will need to pay in a different form I told her no I am writing a check for this purchase she said she would not take my check because her machine. Would not read my check I went a cross the street to Public there machine read my check and they said Thank You for shopping with us. The Kroger manager never said thank you or sorry about this she did not say hello she just rang up my Order and said the Machine is not reading my check I when to the customer service desk ask to talk to store manager and guess who showed up the front end manager I was going to complain About I just laugh and said this is the employee I was wanting to complain to the manager about I said I want to let the manager know what the problem was and she said her machine want read the check I said that not my fault every were Else reads my check Just saying trouble customer service I will not be shopping at this Kroger again. Yes, this is a very nice looking Kroger, but the experience we had with the produce manager means I will never shop here again. After purchasing 14 bins of organic baby greens to feed to a large number of people at a local school, it all went bad a week before the expiration date. When attempting to return it, the produce manager argued with me about it being bad-the smell was rancid. Another shopper agreed that it was bad after smelling it. He then consulted with the "chef" who blamed me for it going bad because I had not emptied each bin to pat dry all of the greens. Granted, after arguing he agreed to refund my money. But when asked by customer service the reason for the return, the produce manager stated " she says it's bad." With this type of argumentative customer service and an attitude of "the customer is always wrong," I won't be spending any more money here. Publix, here I come. read more

I love this kroger, really I do. The folks in the pharmacy know me by name and they saved me a TON of money by working with my dog's vet on getting her arthritis med through kroger instead of the vet. Selection is always good and staff friendly. That said, I've been disappointed in 2 recent developments. One, the produce section has been rearranged. I believe all the same items are present but in very strange 'groupings' (if that's a word?) It used to flow and make sense. Now it seems someone has made considerable change just for the sake of making a change. Secondly, who thought it was a good idea to build a HUGE display of university of georgia tailgating products without single, solitary SCRAP of georgia tech merchandise. 7 or 8 times a season, I drop anywhere from $200 - $400 on tailgating supplies. I apparently am now being invited to drop that cash at Publix. (i mean there's not so much as a gold napkin in stock...in years past they always had Tech merchandise and I bought a considerable amount) read more
