We left no problem, we open the milk last night to it being chunky and it having bad oder meaning it had gone bad. The expiration date was July 16th. We came back to the store at 11:30 in the morning to give the milk back in hopes of getting a refund, we walk up to the counter to a guy that was super rude. he gave us attitude and sighed at the fact we didn't want another milk because we didn't want the same issue to happen again. Even though she was wearing a mask, I could still see her smile. She was very welcoming even for it to be so early in the a.m. She saw that I was lost looking for something, and offered her assistance with a friendly "do you need help finding something?" As she walked me to the buttered croissants, she gave me the freshest batch she had. I was more than delighted and she totally helped my morning to be great. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff was sort of blah. They barely paid attention to the patrons, let alone seemed welcoming. Maybe they should take some tips from Ms. Amor (it's so funny that her name is Amor and she acts so lovingly) Would I recommend? Sure. There isn't really anything special about this Kroger. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help. I interact with Margaret, one of the cashiers, and Joseph in the produce department most often, and they always make me feel welcome with their excellent customer service. The store is consistently clean, well-organized, and well-stocked. One thing I really appreciate is that you'll often see the managers out on the sales floor stocking shelves, helping customers, or even bagging groceries alongside the staff. It truly feels like a team effort. The store also seems to be well staffed, so checkout is usually quick, and I rarely have to wait in a long line. On the rare occasion I've needed to exchange or return an item, the process has always been quick and hassle-free. The staff handles returns professionally and never makes it difficult. After nearly six years of shopping here, I can confidently say it's one of the best grocery stores around. Their consistently excellent customer service and well-run store are the reasons I keep coming back week after week. I highly recommend shopping here!

I'm blind and use a white cane, so those two things matter tremendously. Here's why I choose Ingles: the friendliness and above and beyond assistance they provide. Before you get ahead of yourself and say "people are kinder to strangers when they have a noticeable disability." Sometimes that is true. Most often it is not. Questions are often ignored or many times patience for just a second is too much to give to a customer who needs to know where something is and visual gestures don't help. I've NEVER experienced being dismissed or ignored in 12-14 years of shopping here. I don't know all the names of the great people. However, my visit today to the meat counter was exemplary as usual. I'd placed an order Saturday with Amy. Amy followed up by phone. I believe Ty, the manager placed my order and made sure it was just as I wanted it cut, and the quantity I needed. Jaiden was there today to serve me with a smile. My order was ready and waiting for me. Jaiden packed it in my cart and helped me on my way. I did not get the cashier and bagger's names, but I hope they know I appreciate them as well. I let them know verbally. This is normal for the store. The bonus is high quality meat that far surpasses the superstores with off-colored meat if they can sneak it on you. I'm writing a review today because this kind of service is rare in larger chains. I don't hang around to see if she does it to other scan and go customers, but this embarrassed my daughter to the point she had tears in her eyes. I posted photos with my review and i don't know her name, as she wears her badge backwards. If I pay a premium for a service and go to a area that scan and go may not be commonly used, ot isn't our fault and cause for embarrassment that makes checkout take longer than it should just because I'm different. Anyway, she didn't find anything wrong with our purchase, just wasted our time and made my daughter have more social anxiety than called for . I only shop here to begin with because it is beside Sam's club. After this, i don't want to come back here again! Last time she accused me of not paying for a printer that she wouldn't even look at my receipt for. I use scan and go so i only have digital Reciepts, but she had to call someone else and then they told her i had the Reciepts and then she apologized, but why should she feel the need to do this, i told her and she wouldn't listen to begin with! :(
