This is a nice conservatory. We came on a Sunday and street parking was easy. They have coat racks as well because it gets rather warm inside. They had several rooms such as the fern room, palm room, orchid room, and desert house. I love that they had a scavenger hunt type game for kids. My daughters enjoyed searching for the animals throughout the conservatory. It made it more fun for them.

the best little escape in the city. all the green helps a ton in the winter, and the butterflies in the summer is so special.

$10 tickets for adults and 4 sections. It gets super humid in here for the plants. Bring water!!! You can buy water there though in the center near the Bonsai trees. I need to come back because I missed the butterflies. Also the main photo opp bench everyone likes for instagram is in the back at the parking lot.

This is one of my favorite botanical gardens. The plants here are lively and colorful. They have a diverse range of extroverted plants that all get along in the shared space and show off their leaves and flowers. These flowers aren't shy and closed off to visitors. They are loud, bubbly, and exciting to look at and interact with. When they do have butterflies they fly around and are not just lounging around. They are some of the most social butterflies and get around, they interact well with the visitors. Closer to holidays they decorate the garden to match the season. I highly recommend visiting this botanical garden.

Such a great outing and way more than I expected. The craftsmanship is astounding. You should definitely take the family or yourself.

I've been to the conservatory before for their butterfly exhibit and it was crowded, hot and seemed to lack butterflies. This trip was completely the opposite. It was so nice going this time. There were maybe only 15 people in the area with us, a ton of butterflies and the temperature was perfect. We were actually able to catch quite a few on our butterfly pad. It was just so relaxing to sit and watch my daughter enjoying herself. Highly recommend the Butterflies in Space exhibit!!

Gorgeous and a sentimental place to visit for me, as I used to go here with family growing up as a kid. My step-grandmother used to live in Mt Adams, so this was a frequent place we'd visit when in Cincinnati for Easter and Christmas. Love the plethora of unique plants and habitats in to conservatory, as well as the beautiful surrounding Eden Park. Entry fee is $10 for adults, but was discounted to $7 when I visited because the orchid section was closed for renovations I believe. Easy parking on-site.

Stopped by mainly to see the holiday train show. It is spectacular! Mini replicas of Cincinnati landmarks and trains running by on tracks. It's very well done. Great for anyone who likes attention to detail & florals. We loved seeing Thomas the Tank Engine. Kid friendly! From there we explored the dessert plants, walked under a waterfall, and spent some time in the little kids activity area. There are chairs with a table full of blocks and a bookshelf. Great for keeping toddlers busy! While it's winter outside, once you enter the conservatory it is fairly humid. They have a free coat rack as you enter (before the info desk). A restroom is also available. Plenty of space for strollers to get through the exhibits.

Beautiful and a must visit in Cincinnati. The conservatory first opened its doors in 1933, is located in Eden Park and beautifully maintained. Benches throughout the Conservatory invite to stay awhile to take in the relaxing and to enjoy the stunning flora throughout five different themed houses. We visited with some ladies from a senior living community and it was a big plus that all rooms where wheelchair and walker accessible. Make sure to check their website for the seasonal decorated floral room. You can find bunnies around Easter, Butterflies in the summer and a winter wonderland around Christmas time. I love that the Conservatory has something to offer for everyone.

Wow what an amazing conservatory. Would have love to see it at night lit up, but it was absolute stunning and a great winter activity. Tickets can be bought before or onsite.

Lovely botanical garden, with over 3,500 plant species from around the world. Recognized as one of the country's largest public greenhouses. Always have wonderful events too!

Visited the holiday "gingerbread" exhibit on a recommendation of a friend (this is our First Christmas in Cincinnati) and weren't disappointed. While not actually gingerbread houses the exhibit was fantastic! With the variety of Cincinnati historic buildings and running model trains I can see why people say this is a holiday tradition you don't want to miss. We'll definitely bring family to see the exhibit next year - at only $10 it's a steal of a deal. Only warning- parking is a nightmare if it's busy!

Krohn Conservatory is a beautiful little place and a nice warm oasis during the colder months. We stopped in with special interest in checking out the Celestial Holiday exhibit. They also do other annual exhibits throughout the year, such as the Butterfly Show. The Celestial Holiday was stunning with all of its trains and structures. It's particularly nicely done with local sights rendered in botanical materials, including sites like a miniature Krohn Conservatory itself, the new Music Hall, Findlay Market, Fountain Square, and even the bridges are rendered as Cincinnati bridges. It is stunning! The conservatory itself offers several rooms: a fern house, a palm house, a desert house, an orchid house, and a bonsai gallery. It's neat to explore all of the winding little accesses, sneak through a cave, admire the waterfall, and enjoy the art that has been incorporated into the plant displays. There is also a small gift shop. The one hesitation I have with the conservatory is the price. It seems a little bit pricey if there's not a special exhibit to see. It was worth it to see the neat train exhibit, however! There is parking available around back and some on-street parking in front, but it can and does fill up quickly on some days.

I really appreciated that a black artist was incorporated with the butterfly show this year.

A wonderful location to view the bustling activity along The Ohio River Trail, and a place to gather and celebrate as a community. The park boasts multiple water play features, giant swings, an interactive foot piano, an imaginative play area for kids, expansive pollinator gardens, and Carol Ann's Carousel. Several historical monuments can be found like the Black Brigade Monument and the recently dedicated Marian Spencer Statue. I was on a roadtrip and my family dropped me off in downtown Cincinnati and I gravitated to Smale Riverfront Park because I wanted a place to explore nature and see river views. I explored the scenic walkways along the Ohio, flower gardens, fountains, public art, picnic spots, and plenty of space to just chill. One of my favorite features were the riverfront swings, big, bench-style swings tucked along the water that are perfect for kicking back and enjoying the view. They're surprisingly comfortable and such a great spot to unwind and reconnect with your inner child. The park has amazing views of the Roebling Suspension Bridge and Ohio River are worth the visit on their own, the paths are wide and great for families, and there's lots to explore without feeling overcrowded. There are splash zones for kids, places to sit and picnic, and tons of photo ops.

It's wild to me that I am here writing a review about a bad experience from 10 months ago that I…read morethought was handled, but has actually come back to haunt me. In June of 2023 I called a contacted Acme through Yelp because I had filled out a "project" request. The request was to unlock a residential doorknob of a basement for a property that I managed. I spoke with Acme on the phone to set up a time for them to come out, at which time they gave me a quote for changing the lock. When the person arrived to change it (Mike), he was unable to get the lock opened and said it would have to be completely removed and replaced with a new lock (after, we were able to contact another locksmith who came out and successfully unlocked the doorknob). This was going to take the visit up to over $300 if they provided a lock. I consulted with the person I managed the property for and they wanted me to buy a lock instead of the using one Acme offered due to the price and inability to complete the job. When I informed Mike of this, he became very short and irritated, asking how long it was going to take, and was very inflexible. I once again consulted with the property manager, and due to the unprofessionalism of Mike, and how much the cost had gone up from the initial quote, he decided not to continue the service with Acme. The property owner contacted Acme, who were apologetic, stated we would not have to pay for the service, said they were "grateful" that I did not write a review of my experience. Now here we are, 10 months later and this week I receive a call from Acme. They said they were "clearing some files," found my invoice and were going to send it to me. This invoice was a $175 charge for a visit and labor fee. They also charge an additional 3% processing fee for payments after 10 days of the invoice. I was never informed of a trip fee that would be charged prior to the visit, or that it was expected to be cash on delivery of service. This is something I assumed would have been established when they gave me the quote. I can adamantly say I do not recommend Acme for locksmith services. The inflexibility of the person who came out to complete the work, the lack of transparency with the charges prior to the visit, and the fact that 10 months later they are now trying to charge me $175 speaks to the lack of integrity within the company.

Each artist has a shelf or a little area inside the store. There were some beautiful bird baths and garden stuff. My favorite section of the store is the bookshelf in the back on the left that contains those Arcadia history books. Each one is about a certain piece of Cincinnati's history. Some talk about immigrants, others about neighborhoods, and some about families and companies that have flourished here. I like looking through these books as they are fascinating! I ended up purchasing an "I love OTR" sticker for $2 and am very happy and proud to finally own one. We bought several of the Cincinnati history book series for my father in-law for Christmas. The first time we visited, the husband was looking for a specific Christian Moerlein beer poster, and the woman working the register was very nice about trying to help us find it. He settled for a different one, but as we walked back down the street, she had found it and even came out calling for us to see if he wanted to swap. So nice! The owner apparently is open to taking calls if you need her to open up shop for something when they are closed. This is a great store to browse on a lazy OTR walking day, or if you are looking for some interesting gifts or jewelry off the beaten path.
