We have filled up our propane at tractor supply for years and normally receive a piece of paper from the filler with the amount of propane we filled, we then proceed to pay inside after doing a little a shopping. Today the man filling the propane (Logan) refused to let me leave to find my wife with the wallet, accusing me of stealing our 5 bottles of propane. He then ordered a younger woman to check me out outside with their mobile machine, which we couldnt fo because my wife was inside with the wallet. So the lady followed me in with the machine, as we walk in the register lady turns to us and yells "are you paying for that" which i replied yes, I need to find my wife. This was the worst experience I've ever had in retail. We were accused of stealing when we are loyal customers of tractor supply. I will never return to this tractor supply. Logan should be written for how he treats customers. Please dont treat honest people like criminals. Terrible business

I was looking for raised garden bed soil and this store was the only one that seemed to have it during the sale promotion. I easily ordered on the website and it was ready within an hour or so. When I arrived I called the number on the sign in the designated pickup area. A friendly employee answered and directed me to pull over to the propane area where a nice man was waiting to load my trunk. He was very sweet and helpful, loading things neatly in the trunk. It was a nice quick pickup. I was jealous to find out they are now offering a Pet Wash Station!!! I wish they had this when I lived right up the street, I wouldve used it all the time! There really isn't another close option for this in the area! If shopping here make sure to join their rewards program as you will receive special coupons and freebies!

Southern States is that kind of old fashion feed store that you can be happy to go into. I come…read morehere often to get hay for my miniature horses. The staff at Southern States are very nice and always willing to help you. By far my favorite part about shopping here is they load your car for you. Almost every other feed store in the area has you loading your own car, which I do not have a problem doing but it is very nice to have help every once in a while. I buy grass hay and I can say the bales are always cut very well, the flakes come apart easily, and the hay seems fresh. When feeding any type of animal you should be cautious of the food your giving, this is even more important when feeding horses because they are so sensitive. I trust the hay at Southern States to supply my girls with what they need and to keep them happy. I highly recommend Southern States to anyone who needs live stock supplies, gardening or farming supplies, or even domestic pet foods and supplies. I came recently as they are offering order online for curbside pickup which is nice! The bigger box stores ARE NOT doing this! The employees here are friendly and helpful. The store is always organized and clean. I find the inventory between online and in store to be fairly accurate. Watch for their sales, as those are the best deals. Also make sure to register for their rewards, as you will receive extra coupons and deals such as the cool free reusable tote bag I got!
