I fulfilled every requirement expected of me, yet he failed to ensure that critical steps were taken, such as making sure I received a service plan. I actually had to request it myself, even though he was in the courtroom when it should have been addressed. I paid him $3,000 for representation, and later he charged me an additional $1,500--then sued me for that amount after providing minimal legal support. His lack of communication, effort, and professionalism left me feeling completely unrepresented and taken advantage of. Given his conduct, I am firmly considering filing a formal complaint with the Bar Association. In my opinion, Mr. Haff's actions fell far below the standard of care expected from an attorney, and I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring him for family law matters.
