I went to get a pedicure and was talked into acrylic nails fine. I was charged $75 for pedicure and I clearly paid her $125 for an acrylic overlay. I have never been charged this much for these services. I'm suspecting that she's charging like that to cover the over head costs of the shop. Paid $127 for gel pedicure and acrylic manicure. Lady doing my pedicure kept cutting my toe nails shorter and shorter and round and crooked. I kept telling her that I wanted them square. I eben showed her a pictureof what i wanted. They were crooked. Krystal (the owner) got involved to fix them. It was an improvement but since the first lady cut thrm way short, she couldn't do much. Krystal then did my acrylic manicure. It was apparent that she was not happy with me. She didn't bother to cut my cuticles, no massage at my pedicure or manicure. No attempt to rectify. The nail service was ok. Honestly CO nail shops are very tough to find someone that does a great job. However, there is an old lady "Kathy" she's literally rude and did the WORSE pedicure. Rude, yanking my foot, just no customer service at all. Cant speak any English. Might I add on top of that they're so expensive. 20 bucks more for gel?! Anyways. Def not a do-over for me. I have been coming here for 5 years and it's my favorite nail salon of all. The staff is amazing and Krystal is the best. I highly recommend booking with her. She always does my nails exactly how I want done. I know I have crazy requests too but she is AMAZING!! She remembers how I like them shaped and my nail polish lasts for weeks, which is amazing because I can't always make in it in every two weeks due to my schedule. I love this place. BEWARE!!!! This was a terrible experience and the worst pedicure I ever had. During my pedicure, I felt something sharp stab into the side of my toe. I went home in pain and it didn't get better after several days. I went back and the lady said I had an "ingrown toenail" (That was caused BY THEM!) She took a knife and started DIGGING into my toe. It was so painful I cried. She dug for what felt like 10 minutes and finally pulled a piece of my toenail out - a piece that the original girl had lodged in there. She then SQUEEZED it to ask if it was better. NO! It's not! And it continued to get worse - so bad I could not wear shoes. My toe swelled up almost twice the size and was yellow and pussy. I went to the doctor and my doctor said it was one of the worst infections she has seen. I paid the doctor, paid for antiobiotics, and asked if i could get a refund for my pedicure. Me and my mom have been going here for many years now, and have had a positive experience every time!! The pedicures are on the weaker side compared to other nail salons, but they are the only nail salon that I have found where my manicures will last for a couple months (especially when I get gel nail polish). Not one word was spoken to me! After I was done, I stood at the front waiting to pay for at least 5 minutes! Could have walked out. Finally, here comes a girl from the back to take the money! Only gave two stars because the actual service experience wasn't bad. My nail tech however did not do a good polish job and I unfortunately couldn't see the flaws until I left. I spent 4 days out of the area and as soon as I returned, I went in to address the shabby job. I was told they only guarantee gel nails, I remind you this wasn't the usual wear and tear, this was a poor job. I pointed that out and the representative was stuck in her position, basically sorry, we don't stand by our work unless it's gel is what I heard. Which is an unacceptable practice for any business, for any service they offer. If you can't stand by it, don't offer it! I walked in to have my acrylic nails removed. Must have been good timing at 4 PM because I was immediately seated and fingers soaking in solution within 3 minutes. The tech was very diligent and careful in ensuring the acrylic was removed properly so my nails would not be damaged. Very pleased with how he decided to use the solution and not the other method (using another plastic nail to slide under the acrylic and peel off, quicker but more painful). He shaped and buffed my nails before putting oil on top of them. Thanks for the great service! I have not been to this salon for a mani/pedi so once I do so, I'll update my review. read more

I've been here several times and I'm just now able to write a review. In all fairness, my experience most times has been very enjoyable. The location itself is super convenient because I live so close. The interior is very clean and welcoming. Krystal Nails has an amazing selection of shellac/gel colors as well! That's one thing that I really really like. (And the reason they are getting stars in the first place.) Downside: they are more expensive for services than most nail salons. (I understand why too. Cleanliness. Location. Selection. Etc.) My schedule is very busy and usually, I do what I can do be very considerate of businesses like this. When you come in at 650pm and the close at 7pm. You could be keeping someone there for a while depending on the request. (I get it.) I try not to walk in at that time if I can help it but sometimes, I get in there when I can and that's at 645pm. I walked in at 645pm and I heard two people talking about who is going to help me with my gel manicure. (I am taking my engagement photos soon and needed to get my nails done.) After some talking and laughing, one person tells me to sit down. While she's getting my old gel off, other people, at least three, continue to come by and comment "oh, another person walked in at 645 and we close at 7." "Oh, here they come, close to 7pm." I commented "I can leave if it's a problem for me to be here. I'll come back tomorrow." The technician said, "no it's okay." And encouraged me to stay. It happened again shortly there after that another person came by and gave her comments. I grabbed my bag and told the technician that I was going to leave. I speak a little Vietnamese but I understand it all. And the fact that all these people ASSUME that others can't understand them is poor judgement on their part. It was beyond offensive and I have NEVER been treated like that. I LOVE my nails. They look amazing. BUT I refuse to deal with this type of service. I CHOSE to go to that location and PAY MORE than I would at others. I found a place that does gel for $20 and they charge $35 here. If I come back, it will be out of desperation. read more

The prices may be a lil higher then most places but I am willing to pay for the work Alex does. She is always so accommodating. Anne is fabulous! Mind you as I say that I am not easy pleased with my nails. I have been long for a place closer to my home and work and I am so glad my friend suggested Anne. I generally have acrylics with shellac, but it is rare I find somewhere I leave completely happy with my nails. I couldn't have been more pleased. Anne refused to rush and offered such amazing attention to detail! In addition, the facilities are very well maintained and clean. Owners and staff are friendly. Salon is clean and organized with nail tools in sterilization packets. The lady who did my pedicure was sweet and very gentle with my ticklish feet. I was reluctant to get a gel manicure because in the past gel manis from other salons didn't last. They peel off in 2-3 days. Krystal did my gel manicure and currently at day 5 there are no chips, peeling, or cracking. I'm tough on my hands and wash them often and have very dry skin but my gel nails look just as great as they did on day 1. It's also quiet in the salon with just some nice music playing. No sports on the tv or children running and screaming like other salons I've been to. Just a nice, relaxing place to enjoy being pampered. Thanks, ladies!! We both had the exact same services but hers cost more but my nails looked more professionally done. I got a gel fill today and it cost me more than what they charged me for the initial gel nails a couple of weeks ago. This place has friendly nail techs and whenever I go in, they take care of you right away! Quick professional service. I got a pretty solid bright red nail polish color with the deluxe pedi package for only $45. It's basically the works with a scrub, mask, soak, nail/cuticle maintenance, etc. The massage chairs were very relaxing during this treatment too! When getting a pedi, there is also an amazing view of pikes peak. My experiences are always pleasant and I look forward to getting my nails done here. Go try them out for yourself! Highly recommend Krystal Nails & Spa. The staff was welcoming, warm, and courteous. They greeted us right away. At one point, they got so busy, but were still able to accommodate everyone. If anyone had to wait, the manager was communicative. The manager is so efficient he could run a production line! When in to get my full set of acrylics. As soon as I leave one of my fingers is messed up I go back in and they paint over it and everything's fine. I get home and it messes up again. I called and asked for a refund because I cannot keep going back in and they said they can't give me a refund and it is my fault that I did not get gel polish. The weren't coffin like I asked for nor were they matte until I asked them once again for it to be matte and then the matte top coat made it have a Grayish hue. read more

My mom took me here last week for a girls day before thanksgiving. The location is nice and clean. They have a ton of polishes to choose from. My mom got a wonderful tech and she loves her nails. I like mine but for $35 I don't feel like it is worth it. My nails are not filed evenly so they are weird looking. Also the top coat polish isn't even on two of my nails. So it bothers me to look at. But the weirdest thing was, the nail techs had us pay separately. My mom was charged $20 and I was charged $35. Yet we both got the same thing done. The inconsistency in payment worries me about future visits. I am not going to stay away from here but I am going to try other places in town to see if I am happier with the work and price. read more

This is my second time here. First time, was great hence why I came back. A younger gal had done my pedicure and everything was great. This time... the lady who did my pedicure did not seem to have proper training. Almost seemed as though she was just trained in house and not licensed. I asked her to only file my toenails and not cut. My toenails were squared and I told her to keep the same shape. She slanted them and made some pointy in spots. Didn't seem like the was paying much attention. THEN the worst part is she painted them super sloppy. I am including photos. She did not take the paint back anywhere near the end of my nail. She made some slant making my whole toenail look crooked because of the slanted paint job. Save your money. They also charge $20 extra for gel, idk if this is a Colorado norm but CA and WA state is usually $5/$10 upcharge. So if you decide to come here, ask for the younger gals or you're pretty much taking a gamble. read more
