I just relocated from out of state, KS was the third nail shop I tried. What an impression they made on me! The atmosphere is relaxing, clean and organized, plus well stocked with colors and designs. The staff is professional and very polite to everyone. It is centrally located with easy parking. Miss Kim does an exceptional pedicure, taking her time with you, and with a perpetual smile all the while. Easy conversation, or relaxing quiet, whichever the client prefers. I went to this salon on Sunday may 17. There were 3 or 4 girls working and only 2 clients getting peds when I walked in. Asked for mani and pedi and was taken back right away. The girl doing my toes I hadnt seen in there before but seemed fine. I come often so I didnt need much just a freshen up. She ended up cutting the whole right side of my right big toe and never once acknowledged it even though it was bleeding quite a bit. It was actually bleeding until the pedicure was almost completely over. Never acknowledged never apologized never offered discount, nothing.......then I go to sit down for mani. Same girl gets started but keeps getting up like shes unorganized. Then I guess one of her regulars walks in, gets up and completely blows me off and starts working on her pedicure. Owner comes over about 30mi later and starts working on mine like shes in a hurry, mind you several families and people start walking in abd she says she has time for everyone. There were at least two or.3 people thay came in after me that were done before me.....the owner even chased one lady out in the parking lot bc she saw how busy it was and turned around. Somehow owner convinced her to come back in oh we got time no problem. Mind you with a salon now full of people waiting and no employees. Its now almost 3hrs that I've been there. ....the other girl who started finally comes back and takes over again and still takes another 30min to finish also being rushed and sloppy. I paid and left, no tip not happy with any apologies or discounts. They definitely care more about pushing as many people thru as possible then the quality of their work or taking care of the people already there. I called around noon to make an appointment for 2 basic pedicures at 3pm, the lady said that they had plenty of openings and they'd see my mother in law and I at 3. We showed up about 10-15 minutes early and were told to pick out our polishes. When we got seated at the pedicure station and they didn't put the bowl lining or fill the basins until about 10 minutes after we had already sat down. We proceeded to sit there until about 3:30 when the older male came over and started my pedicure and finished it within 15 minutes. My MIL had to wait until well after I was finished for one of the ladies to start hers; we were there for over 2 hours. Throughout the time we were there a customer called the shop, the lady who answered put the call on speaker and let the entire shop hear the complaints that were being made by the client. Another 2 clients had come in and complained about the services they had received. Another client had come in just after we had and was told by the gentleman that they'd be started in a few minutes, but he proceeded to start my pedicure and the client left before they had anything started. The overall pedicure wasn't the best basic service I've ever gotten, but it also wasn't the worst. When interacting with the staff they were nice but they were overbooking themselves with only 3 people working. My family and I visit the area often and we were looking for a nail salon to frequent, but we won't be back. read more

i went to ks nails in waynesboro, a young chineese man was my tech. i noticed he was putting very little filling or acrylic on my nails, i came in for a filling. i ask him why was he doing my nails that way, he said he only do the part up near the cuticle that needs to be done they no longer fill the whole nail anymore. i was in shock. he argued with me the entire time, i told him he was cheating me. after he finished with my nails he charged me 40 dollars just for a fill i was irate. i called back to the store an ask them how much was a fill, the lady who answered phone said 35 dollars. i explained to her what he charged me, she told me come back an get refund for extra 5 dollars i was charged. she put the young man on phone i was angry, i called him a cheat and robber because he intentionally over charged me an he did a terrible job of my nails, not giving me a fill like he was suppose to . please be careful with these chinees nail salons some of them are cheating customers out of proper service !!!!!!!! read more

It took an hour and half to do my nails and all I was getting was a fill in and a pedicure. Pedicure went smoothly except that my feet are dryer than usual are after a pedicure, but when it was time to do my nails I was started then left to do a couples pedicures that came in 45 minutes after I arrived so it took another 45 for someone to do my nails. You would think they would have better customer service after being open as long as they have. I will never go back to have my nails done again. This was the WORST nail experience I have ever had! The man (not Jimmy) who did my nails rushed and was very rough. it took him 3 attempts to pick the right color I asked for. He cut me 3 times and I know it was because he was rushing and he kept yanking my arm and fingers. It is the worst finished product I've ever seen. It's uneven and has high and now spots. There is mess of polish around my nails. I was afraid to tell him because I didn't want him hurting me again. With the color being a light pink, you can really see it. No one was interested in fixing it. I'm done with them! read more

They do not honor the appointments they make. To make sure three people could be accommodated for a pedicure, an appointment was made. The appointment time was for 2:00 pm, we arrived 5 minutes early, by 2:42 pm we were still waiting. We finally decided we were tired of waiting so we got up to leave when one of the staff members started hollering across the room they had one chair open and could take one of us. I let them know that we were not staying: 1. They should have let us know when we came they had just take a 4 person group that would make our wait long 2. That when someone makes an appointment they expect it to be kept by all parties 3. Running 5 -10 minutes late can be understandable but not 42 minutes late. read more

This salon is amazing! I have had my two most recent pedicures with Kim at KS, and in the future KS will always be my first choice for nails. I used to think they were all more or less the same. A pedicure is a pedicure, right? Wrong. At KS I had a distinctly superior experience. Kim is very generous with massage time. A warm paraffin wax soak and a hot rock massage were both included in the deluxe pedicure. Another feature that makes KS better is that it has all brand new equipment, including a row of shiny black massage chairs with foot soaking tubs. The shopping center where KS is located is at the corner of two major roads in Waynesboro, making KS a convenient stop while running errands. There are plenty of parking spaces; you can park right in front of the salon. The atmosphere inside is very relaxing, everything is extremely clean --- oh, and I almost forgot the most important of all: the results were beautiful. I can't wait until KS opens its facial room -- Kim told me that facials will be offered very soon! read more
