I took in for repairs my 60" 3D cinema LG tv. After talking on the phone with the LG Canada…read moretechnician and running numerous tests, i was told the tv needs only the back light replaced. Before taking it to the 999 Electronics shop y tv had a "black veil" i could see the picture behind it when i put a flashlight against the screen. It responded to absolutely all settings &b commands properly. The repair shop technician called me to say that the main board is damaged and that could be very expensive. when i said i want to go right then to see , he told me "is too busy and doesn't have time for me". I do not drive or have a car, i had to make arrangements with a neighbor to go at the shop the next day. When i got there and they turned on the TV the screen was a light grey with a 2" vertical line. THAT IS NOT HOW MY TV WAS WHEN I DROPPED IT THERE!!!! He just happened he mentioned a day before that he knows how expensive it ca be to fix it because he had THE EXACT SAME TV. At this point it is very hard to trust the motives why my tv is in worse condition than when i dropped it there. BEWARE. the "very expensive" board he was talking about costs $145.20 plus tax + shipping. However, after talking with another technician, looks like my tv now is beyond repair. So from Backlight needed to be replaced, i ended up with a good for garbage tv. It is frustrating and upsetting because they do not make them anymore. BEWARE

I took my net book in 'cause the screen was black and wasn't turning on. I picked up my net book…read moreand specifically asked the guy if it was working and his snarky response was, "If It Wasn't Working why would I give it back?" Okay fair enough, I realize that it was a stupid question to ask, however, still didn't warrant a snarky response. I took it home and guess what....it didn't work, therefore, had to take it all the way back again. What the issue was: The net book would fire up, it would take a long time for the windows screen to appear and then it would go black again. They told me that it was a problem with my screen, however, after the looked into it they said it had nothing to do with my screen but instead did some software upgrades and changes. After I reported that it didn't work they said, "Oh it's your hard drive." So why the hell wouldn't you check that in the first place? They charged me $50 for the software service and now I have to pay for the hard drive issue? For the record my lap top is under 5 years, therefore, I shouldn't be having these issues.
