I've known Guido for over 10 years on a personal level and have watched him grow through his professional journey and he is a dedicated hardworking individual who is always respectful to those around him, I have gotten to know the others at the shop too and I can say there professionalism is apparent as well. They always made me feel welcome with nothing but good vibes. The work that everyone dose in the shop is up to par, I have never personally seen a bad cut walk out of the shop. I have never payed more than $35 (except for the tip that a gladly leave). Guido has been cutting my hair for about 5 years now, his shop, is the best in town, period. My hair is super thick and really wavy, most barbers have a tough time getting it to look good. Guido is great, he alwyas is super attentive to what I want, takes feedback extremely well, and he understands how to cut my hair in a way that makes me look and feel great, everytime. Additionally, I've sent family there to get their hair cut. Jesse has cut my little brothers hair a few times and he has always been very happy with how his hair has turned out. I've had my hair cut by Guido so many times at so many different shops that he has worked at and owned and I can confidently say, there is no spot that is more welcoming, more professional, or gives a better cut than Guidos. I've been going to Guido for awhile now, at multiple shops that he has been in. Every time I walk out with the exact cut I wanted, he always takes his time to make sure that everything looks right before he hands you the mirror and if there is anything you don't like he corrects it no question or bad attitude given. The barbershop itself is always very well kept and constantly upgraded with no missed time for clients, everyone in the shop is always in a great mood clients and staff included. The price is far less then some shops in town and you always get a great cut! My go to spot for a consistent clean and affordable cut. I've been to barbershops all over California. I lived in L.A. for 7 years and could never find "the" shop...well I found it back in my home town. Guido has been cutting my hair for 4 years or so. He's super flexible and will always try his best to accommodate my schedule and timing. Super professional with a fun and upbeat attitude. My wife hates that I get a haircut once a week but I come here for more than just a cut. I'm here for the environment, the vibe, his talented crew and the friendship we've developed over the years. Very unprofessional shop bad barbers, not only did they mess up my hair but they spent most of the time talking to each other about their past life's of selling drugs and being menaces. They're also racist a black gentlemen had finish getting his cut and had walked out as soon as he left they started talking about him using racial slurs and laughing. They though because everyone in the shop is of Latino or Hispanic decent they were ok to talk about another person like that. They're prices always change too you go in one day paying 35 then go in another week and pay 40-45$ don't recommend this place Watsonville and Santa cruz have better barbers and the owner of the shop this white looking dude is the worst comes in high all the time and late. read more
