It is an older-style gas station with the island store in the center and pumps on each side. The pump area is covered. I picked this station because it's part of the Get Upside program and I earned 12 cents back per gallon. Not a fortune, but it didn't cost me anything and this station was on my way. I never carry my wallet so I had my phone for Apple Pay but little did I know after ringing up everything the tap doesn't work on the self pay machines. I had to go to the associate who was unaware the tap pay wasn't working but a regular customer said that they haven't worked in a while. I would suggest putting a sign up because most people use tap to pay nowadays. I get to the register and my cashier didn't ring everything in the bag up I could've gotten away with $17 worth of items. I'm an honest person so I told him there was more in the bag. I would visit this store again but please fix the tap to pay on the self service registers.

But I'm a bit Metro, so it makes sense…read more I'm a big fan of Petro stores in general and they usually have a truck stop with an Iron Skillet Restaurant and a lot of other cool stuff in them. This is no exception. One of the greatest things about this one is the decor. It's all Scandinavian and Vikings and awesome. They just did a brilliant job with it. Gas is usually cheap as it is on the other side of the highway but I prefer this truck stop just because it has more of a local flavour and a viking flavour and I'm a big fan.

now, i wanna start this off by saying i absolutely LOVE sids. the prices are good, people are nice,…read morevery friendly place. i would've rated it five stars but i have an issue. this may sound stupid, but bare with me. today, at like, 10, i called sids wanting to get a pizza. a woman named nancy answered, and before i could even finish my sentence she HUNG UP THE PHONE. that is incredibly disrespectful, and i was flabbergasted. so was my friend who was with me. too be fair, we didn't know that their kitchen didnt open until 11, (it was around 10, keep in mind). however, i did want to give her the benefit of the doubt, i work in customer service and sometimes days just suck. a few minutes after 11, i had my friend call because i was not about to get hung up on again. my friend placed the order for, verbatim "a large, stuffed crust, PINNEAPPLE PIZZA." NANCY went "pineapple?" and my friend said "yes, pineapple." wonderful, yippee. guess what. we get to sids to pick up our pizza and end up paying 25 fucking dollars? we have purchased this exact pizza before for 17. we didn't check the pizza, which was stupid, but it was made completely wrong. she had charged us for hawaiian add bacon. girl. we had my friends mother call, nancy was incredibly disrespectful to her mother, to me before, and when we went to pick up our new pizza (free of charge) she was still being bitchy. i still will go to sids because it's a good place, this doesn't change how i feel about the store itself or other employees but nancy, that was wildly unprofessional. even if you are having a bad day.
