We've been coming here for three months now and I already see a huge difference in my son! I've tried many different reading programs for him and was getting hopeless but decided to try this place as other parents from his school have been raving about it and I just wish we came sooner! They start where your kid is and don't move to the next level until the skills are mastered and that really makes a strong foundation and change in their confidence. They create a practical system of errorless learning and consistency which is very efficient for kids who struggle with academics. Everyone there is so nice! Especially the owner! I have two children attending Kumon at this location. I really like the director, she is kind and welcoming and provides a lot of guidance. I don't know her name but the girl that works at the front desk is on top of things and always acknowledges my kids. She is very sweet and accommodating. My son was having trouble with reading when he first started and we have remained consistent and his progress report today from school was a complete turnaround, he is excelling, and we have only been coming for about four months, I am excited to see his progress after more time. I am so pleased I just signed him up for math. My daughter is thriving in her math skills. I think what I like most about it is they have learned to practice, be consistent, and they are reaping the rewards. I recommend. read more

My child has been coming here since their opening. Although my child doesn't love and enjoy it as much as I appreciate the learning, the staff and owner are amazing! The young lady at the front desk is always attentive, professional, and friendly. I think It's truly something the owner knows the name and about each and every kid that goes there. I started taking my daughter here at age 5 before she started Kinder & for 4 months she has learned a lot w/ math & reading. From learning how to count to 50 to reading words & small sentences. She amazes me w/ what she's learned. I also love how we get to spend time doing her homework together. The staff are very nice & helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

So I have gone to Kumon as a child along with my brother and my eldest child. I really enjoy Kumon and think it works wonders for children. So of course I decided to sign up my youngest at a brand new location and we were so excited for her to begin. The sign up went well and the main lady appeared to be really helpful. However little did we know she was selling us lies. She offered us one on one training for a little extra money... but guess what this is fake and does not exist!!! I called cooperate and verified! She also informed us that we could not move dates or change my daughter to one subject, because we'll of course "the price had gone up and it wouldn't make a difference" said the main lady "and she scheduled one on one trainers for specific days" (lie 2), because now as we know one on one does not exist. Ok so let's forget about the extra couple of dollars spent on fake services and talk about her customer service now. So on my first visit to pick up my child I was informed that I would need to wait outside and where a mask. I was really confused but then I was informed that I was sick.... Now I'm really confused because IM NOT SICK!! And I now have a mask on! WTH! So anyways the lady TELLS ME IM SICK! and she will talk to me another day. I finally ask what is going on!???! She tells my I coughed, one single cough and that was a problem! I goooooo whhhat I smoke cigarettes!! Side note...( I know that's bad I'm sorry but I do). So she finally lets me in the building !!Hallelujah!! Ok we talk and she wants to know where I work.. why does this matters I have no idea.. could it be because I'm African American and look young who knows... but I don't want to pull the race card cause she is a minority as well so let's let that go. Anyways we have a good talk so I thought...and I leave. So moving on me and my husband continue to pick up my daughter and every time I go.. I get the put on a mask signal... and I'm so confused because parents of the same minority as the main lady DO NOT HAVE ON A MASK AND THEY ARE INSIDE! This happened on multiple occasions until I finally decide I'm done! I pull my daughter out! And at this point she hasn't learned much anyways and Now you can find us at a different location because I still like Kumon !!just not this Kumon!!!. Now I'm sure the ladies response to this will be dismissive and somehow blame me for our interactions as she did the parent in the review below. But that's ok, this is my truth and reading it is just enough for me! If you want to be on the safe side there is 2 Kumon locations 2 min away and they are a way safer option. read more

I love going to kumon. I been going here for a while and all of the staff members are always so nice and patient. They make sure I feel comfortable where I'm sitting. If I need help they always do their best to help me. If I was ever unable to complete a packet they make sure they rearrange my homework and classwork. They make sure I review over and over again before I take a test. They ask me if I need help even if I don't or if it looks like I'm struggling. I see them be calm with all students and if someone is sleepy they give them the benefit of the doubt. I see them communicate clearly with each other and they never make me stay too long. I definitely recommend going here! Mrs.P is always welcoming to everyone every time I come and her secretary is the nicest person she always greets me and says bye. read more

I like this Kumon center so much, Mrs Poonam she is so sweet. During the Covid , she help my kids on line studying. Now the center will open, we go to the center. My kids he can't write so much before learning, now he can write the whole sentence after learning 3 months. I am so happy. Very recommended. read more

This place is wonderful! This was a first time for me searching and learning about the different types of learning centers to help kids. For starters, let me tell you that I looked at two other Kumon centers along with two Mathnasium's within the area and I will tell you hands-down this place rocks. They follow the correct protocol of Kumon and meet with parents quarterly to discuss child's progress (and of course any other time as well...if parents have questions/concerns- they would meet with you at a schedule time)! Other other Kumon centers said they would send home a report which can be confusing if you don't know what to look for. I was impressed from day one that the owner, Poonam took time with me to thoroughly go over the concepts and learning techniques the center uses. She let me ask all the questions I had and was well knowledgeable and shared success stories of her own children. She is kind and approachable and gives flexibility to parents. Poonam is sweet and understanding. She has done well and has hired a great staff that welcomes parents/kids always with a smile. The teachers are super nice (next time you go- take a look at all the kids going in and out of the center, they are always smiling and love to go learn- which should speak volumes to parents)! The center takes Covid serious and takes precautions with all the children (daily temp taken, hand sanitizers and masks). The center is new, clean and well kepted. It is safe and they don't allow kids to leave the front door unattended, they walk the children to the parents car when they are done- which is first class service! Overall, I would recommend this center to other parents! Check it out for your kids when you can- they are doing it the right way! read more

This Kumon's teacher and supervisor are impatient! Not a good educational institution, they only want to make money! My son studied in Kumon for half year. About a month ago, half hour after I sent my son to Kumon, they called me and told me "my son refuses to study". They asked me to go to Kumon. I asked the supervisor, and I learned that they wanted my son to go to a more difficult course, but they didn't have the patience to explain to my son. My son thought they wouldn't let him study with his old teacher. My son told me before that the current homework was too simple, so after I explained to him, he was very happy to go to the new teacher. Today, they called me " my son ran to the parking lot outside" , and told me to go to Kumon immediately. I went to Kumon and asked them why my son ran to outside. The supervisor told me, "your son refused to study," then she asked my son to sit alone , and then they didn't know why my son ran to the parking lot. I wonder why you punished him? Why did you let him sit alone? Why not communicate? Why did he run outside? Then the supervisor called my son's teacher (A boy who looked like a 16-year-old teenager,does he have a teacher's license? ) came in and said that my son just ran outside, didn't say anything. I told them "I'm asking why", but the supervisor and others said they didn't know anything. They told me my son couldn't come back to Kumon, so I asked them to refund the money for the rest of my son's courses. The supervisor said, "the money that has been paid will not be refunded. Who will pay my staff to go out and chase your son?". I said "Excuse me, I sent my children here to study. you have the responsibility to take care my kid or not?OK！How much you charge me for your staff chasing my son back?" The supervisor became impatient and tell me left . Later, She saw too many parents and students look at us, and she finally refund my money. read more

I enrolled my son in Kumon at this location about 3-4 months ago. He had been struggling in both math and reading after having done his kindergarten year remote. Mrs. Poonam and the entire staff have been so WONDERFUL! They took my son back to the basics, and while he still has work to do to catch up, he has improved tremendously!
