This lady is so friendly. She wanted to make sure that my drink was made right, she offered to add more syrup. She offered me a topper. She offered me water. So accommodating! 10 out of 10. Visiting from out of town so I wanted to try a local coffee place. The rating and the name sounded encouraging. Only one person working so the line to order was long. We asked for the egg sandwiches featured prominently on a sign at the entrance ... and they were not available. In fact, the bakery case was nearly empty. At 8:30 a.m. The woman behind the counter suggested two of their breakfast croissants. We asked to have them heated. After a, no kidding, 10 minute wait she let us know that she had broken the oven. So we asked for them cold because we needed to go. They were dreadful. Tossed mine. And in a wonderful display of irony, even their large screen television menu failed while we were in the room. I will say that the coffee was perfectly serviceable. Experiences like this are why people go to chains like Starbucks for coffee and breakfast. I would say I want my tip back, but I suspect she is so frazzled that she earned it and then some. Absolute disaster. I hope our experience was a one off.
