For some reason I always crave boba on Sundays so I was happen to discover this spot while I was out and about in Fort Lauderdale. Place was empty when I got here so I was able to take my time and browse their extensive menu. I settled on the 'Sesame Matcha' and it was quite tasty; I see why it's a fan favorite. When I went in for the first gulp it was still hot so it threw me off for a second, but once I mixed it around it cooled down a bit. I would've preferred a little more ice, but maybe there was ice and it melted. I really enjoyed the toasted sesame flavor, it was different in a drink versus on hot food. The young man working the register was patient and also validated my parking which I was not expecting so it unexpectedly made my day when I didn't have to pay! I have been meaning to try King Fu Tea and finally got a chance to stop in the other day. We got a milk tea and the strawberry lemonade boba. The milk tea was good but the strawberry lemonade with popping boba was dangerously good! The store was clean and modern. The only downside was the service was really slow and the store wasn't busy. Went around 3-4 pm. I got a large taro boba tea. Bro.. 10/10. The boba pearls were so fresh. I've never had it that fresh. They were warm and sweet, while the milk tea was cold, and tasted fresh as well. This is the first time I've had boba this good, and I've tried a lot of boba. The taro was smooth, sweet, nutty, and rich, not watered down. Not a ton of ice (although you can specify). Also they have this cute machine to get toys out of. (1$ a play). This Kung Fu Tea is located in Fort Lauderdale! Hidden in plain sight, it is in a newer plaza near Hatch + Grain & Berry. I have been to this plaza many times before and totally didn't realize that Kung Fu Tea was here. I needed a spot to get some work done and have loved KFT when I used to live in Orlando so I'm happy I got to come here and get some work done. The menu they have here is quite extensive and they told me that their many is a bit bigger than the Davie location. I love getting the classic Kung Fu Milk Tea (with black tea) and make sure to put the sweetness level down to 50% since it is pretty sweet for me. I also got to try their Pistachio milk tea and I loooved it. The space in here is big enough for a good amount of tables and has good open space for enough light to shine through. They had a good amount of tables near outlets and I was able to get some good work done here with my intern. For parking, you can park (for free) in the garage located behind KFT as long as you park in the area that is labeled "Shoppes of Quantum Retail Parking Only". A good find in Fort Lauderdale! They have an extensive menu, so many options I haven't seen before at any other boba spots. They are reasonably priced and come in a variety of sizes. It's decorated with fun neon signs and had a good atmosphere. They made the drinks pretty quickly, I was in and out under 5 minutes. It was difficult to choose, being that there were so many different milk teas, which is my preference. I went with taro and traditional boba, although they also had a ton of options for toppings as well. It was good, but the boba was warm, and it warmed up the milk quite a bit. My husband tried the winter melon, and he mentioned it had a unique spice to it. Another thing to note is parking is very challenging. This is located on the ground flood of a hotel complex, which has valet and a garage, but I'm not sure if it's only for hotel guests and residents. We parked on the street a few blocks away, which is pay by phone. I'll definitely have to get back one day to try other flavors and toppings since there are so many choices. read more

Super excited to try Kung Fu Tea as it's right by my job. I went it very excited to find out they use Lactaid as a milk alternative. I got the Milk Strike Coco Cream Wow Cap and wow was it good. I always know boba is gonna be good when it's warm at the bottom of the cup. Been here a few times. Always yummy and the boba is good quality! Our visit yesterday left a bad taste in my mouth though. The girl on the register was sick and coughing into her hand. Directly after, she used that same hand to touching the entire top lid of my cup and my boyfriend's after they were made before handing them to me. She was playing around with them, and it was not necessary. She was also just making other people's drinks without washing her hands in between. Also I heard them agree to take back and re-blend another customer's drink with more ice since the customer felt it was too sweet. I think food safety guidelines need to be revisited. read more
