I'd been seeing TeaLab on Yelp for quite some time, so on the evening of the 4th of July I decided to take my mom for a drive, get us out of the house, and treat ourselves. When we arrived, the place was busy, which I took as a good sign. The staff didn't acknowledge us when we walked in, but I didn't take it personally. It took a while to place our order, and once we did, we decided to enjoy our drinks and dessert in the car. Unfortunately, the drinks were a huge disappointment. I ordered the taro milk tea with pudding, but it had almost no taro flavor at all. I kept waiting for the pudding texture, but it never came. It also lacked the rich, creamy consistency that I'm used to from Tiger Boba Tea in Coral Springs. I also ordered the panna cotta, thinking it was simply the dessert. Instead, I received a strawberry drink with panna cotta at the bottom. The drink itself was not enjoyable, and I ended up not liking it at all. The one standout was the cheesecake. Although it was small, it was absolutely delicious. Considering what I typically pay for dessert at nice restaurants in New York, I didn't mind the portion size. The café itself is beautiful. It's spacious, tastefully decorated, and has plenty of seating. They also have some lovely figurines on display that I wish were available for purchase. I really wanted to like TeaLab, and I had high hopes based on its reputation. Sadly, the drinks didn't live up to my expectations, and while the atmosphere was lovely, it's not enough to bring me back. read more

Tea Lab has good quality bubble tea. I think it has to be one of our top three favorite places to get boba. We happened to be in plantation area so we popped in for a quick dessert boba after our dinner. Today I got the mango pomelo sago, unfortunately they had ran out of sago so I ended up adding lychee jelly in it. It was good and I will definitely try it again next time. My fiancee got the banana pudding latte and she seems to enjoy it. I would recommend this place to others. read more

Wanted to try matcha places and I stumbled upon this spot. I am very pleased due to the tasty combinations they offered. They had so many options it was hard to choose but I decided on the strawberry matcha. It was delicious and it came in a big cup I didn't think it comes that big because it was so much to drink. The person that took my order was helpful and mentioned that they have seasonal drinks which included the banana pudding cookie butter matcha. They should just add that to the menu. I saw this place on tiktok and it looked so good so I decided to come in! I only wish this was a little closer to me because it is SOO GOOD. We ordered mostly off their winter menu and got the cherry vanilla matcha, dark chocolate mocha with banana pudding, and brown sugar oat latte with crème brûlée top. Literally so good. They said their cherry vanilla syrup was house made and you could literally taste cherry vanilla and matcha all separately. Their staff was so so kind and accommodating. I had an issue and they fixed it immediately with no questions asked. The inside is also super cutely decorated and there were little tables to sit at. I've been coming here since they opened and still enjoy it. We love the strawberry matcha. It has a good balance that is not too sweet. The other favorite is the mango sago. It has pomelo so there is a mix of sweet and sour in the drink. They also have seasonal drinks that rotate so its worth it to come more often, even though we didn't need an excuse to go already. Everyone is always so friendly in here and they can give a good recommendation if you are stuck between drink choices. The decorations are extremely cute. There are small seats in the front but the have tables a few more seats in the back of the store. It is a great little spot for a drink or to catch up with some friends. read more

The jasmine matcha milk tea was really smooth and floral, one of my all time favorite! The mango pomelo with sago was creamy, refreshing, and full of mango flavor with bits of pomelo and sago that gave it a nice texture. It felt more like a dessert drink. The mango passion fruit tea with jelly pudding was super refreshing. The passion fruit added a nice tangy flavor. I would probably skip out on the pudding next time since theres not really ạ taste to it. This place is amazing! It's the best bubble tea I've had in a long time. I took my niece and daughter for an afternoon "tea time" to tea lab. My niece had a super complicated order lol but the person at the register was extremely helpful and calm. She helped her adjust her tea to her liking, right milk, sugar level, etc. I knew exactly what I wanted. The strawberry matcha drink. It was absolutely delicious!!! The place is small but is super cute. They still had their pink Christmas tree up, and I was not complaining about that. It was so nice and pretty. They even had a teddy bear around! My young daughter I appreciated that. I took some pictures of her but forgot to take pictures of my drink. I just enjoyed it too much haha forgot the photo. I'm glad I finally got to try Tea Lab! After having dinner next door at Thai Meal we decided to grab a boba to-go. The inside is bright, cheery, and inviting. Looks like a cute place to hang out with friends. The staff are friendly. The drink is menu is extensive with milk tea, flavored milks, smoothies, slushies, matchas, and coffees. Some unique flavors that caught my eye were Rosalina Black tea, Banana latte, and Matcha jasmine milk tea. For families with kids who want to enjoy boba, they have a Little Ones menu and will make mini strawberry milk or chocolate milk with boba! I got the Matcha jasmine milk tea, half sweet. It's definitely time to revise my review for Tea Lab, because they've become a go-to for me for boba and coffee. 5 stars all the way. The first time I visited, I had an issue with slightly undercooked boba. That was definitely a fluke, because I've never experienced it again. I can say that I agree with other reviewers that the texture has been perfect on every visit since. The flavors at Tea Lab are what really keep me coming back. I love the variety on their menu, especially with the seasonal drinks. My two recent favorites have both been seasonal, the peach oolong with Yakult and the neapolitan coffee. I'd say of all the boba places I've been to in the Sunrise/Plantation area, they have the greatest variety of drinks on their menu. The drinks are consistent too, which is a huge plus. The atmosphere here is still just as cute and relaxing as my first visit. Staff are always friendly, and I like their point card rewards system. I found this place on IG and wanted to give it a try. I got the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk with Taro and it is delicious! This is the only place I've found that has sago. After several visits to Tea Lab, I can say I love this place. This place should be rated, like, 4.75ish stars. For me to get a sense of the consistency of their boba (because you shouldn't just judge a bubble tea place off a single visit), I came three days in a row and tried four drinks in total. The boba's texture/firmness is marginally inconsistent from day to day, which does show a little bit in my photos, but the texture nonetheless is consistently within the margins of being good. The flavors are excellent. The prices are great. Might be my new favorite bubble tea spot in south Florida. If Tea Lab were in any other plaza, I would wish they had savory food, but I don't really need them to have food since this is near restaurants I love such as Marumi and Thai Meal. :) I would recommend this spot for sure. read more

I was really craving boba on a Saturday afternoon before starting my little shopping session at HomeGoods - saw this tea shop in the same plaza as Dar Tarjine! This tea shop is decorated so cute with kawaii style characters and a little capybara "shrine". There were small tables and bench seats lined up against the wall if you wanted to stay for a while. Might be a good alternative to working from a starbucks. I ordered the Oreo Brûlée Mille Tea with pudding and my husband ordered the Fresh Taro Brown Sugar tea with boba. We appreciated the barista letting my husband know that the fresh taro is not the same as the original taro purple tea you normally get. Keep in mind they do have the purple taro tea if you ask for it! We still opted for the fresh taro which was so rich in taste and texture. read more
