    Kung Fu milk tea
    Matthew C.

First off I came with my wife 20 minutes before closing and I know that is not the best time to go to a restaurant... the two girls behind the counter both greeted us with smiles and where very kind... they took our order and made the drinks in a very quickly and well... The drinks were the best milk teas we've had in this area! I got the kung fu black tea with tapioca and my wife for the winter Mellon green tea with milk cap and tapioca... hers was def the better of the two but both were very delicious The place we clean, well decorated and very nicely done! Bottom line we will be back and this will be our new regular milk tea for place!!!

Ive been on a bubble tea kick lately and I dont know how I overlooked that this location was here for so long. It is in kind of an unassuming strip mall but right off Mason Montgomery in a busy area! I was able to order ahead online for quick in store pickup. I was greeted kindly right when I walked in even though the employee was making another order. They keep your order ahead placed behind the counter for safety during the pandemic, which I liked. The inside was bright and airy with several well spaced tables. I got the large winter melon coconut milk tea with tapioca boba. I opted for 30% sweetness which was perfect. I do not like things too sweet and saw others recommendations for this. I also should have opted for less ice, as it was really full of it. The flavor was great and the boba were tender, not mushy. The price point here is a little high for the size comparatively but worth trying!

Mother's Day promo in the app and here's a shot of their instagram post. The manager disappointingly won't acknowledge!

I'm a very regular customer, usually at the Kenwood mall store but since the mall is closed we are willingly driving aaaall the way to Mason to pick up bubble drinks bec we like Kung Fu Tea. I order thru their app and I also get regular emails for promos and rewards. So I got this email yesterday for Mother's day which clearly says buy 2 get a 3rd one free. I got excited and placed my order online and droooove all the way to Mason. I picked up my 2 drinks and asked for the hopefully 3rd free drink just what the promo says... Here's how the STORE MANAGER explains this ordeal: 1. Well, I dont see that promo in my app! (As i was clearly showing her these photos i posted from my app. I wonder what app does she have. I'm confused) 2. Next she goes on by saying.." well you NEED TO BUY 3 drinks and the 3rd one we will decide which is free. (Now I'm more confused!!! Where does it actually say that customers need to buy 3 to get a 3rd drink free? And she was like that's how it goes! You don't make sense woman! That's not what the promo says. She was not apologetic for this whole confusion she even seemed agitated that I kept pushing that her explanation do not make sense at all! You guys be the judge!

Great tea and wonderful customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong tea and they reworked my order without charging me.

I ordered a tea and want to say I drank it before I got out of the lot. It was tasty and refreshing. I could have had more. Will be back when in the area. Service was good overall. They had steady traffic. You can park in in the lot so no an issue and the environment was good. I was in and out so not sure what it's like to stay in and drink.

Inconsistent Customer Service Compared to Other Milk Jar Locations!!!…read more I could have given the Tylersville Road, West Chester location 5 stars, but because of two disappointing experiences, I'm giving it 3 stars. I've been to several Milk Jar locations around Cincinnati, and unfortunately this has been the only one where I've had this issue. My first visit to this location was great. A female staff member made my Dirty Ceylon Boba exactly as I requested--with light ice--and it was delicious. That's why I came back. However, my second and third visits were completely different. Both times, the only employee working was a male staff member, and he refused to make the drink with light ice. He insisted he could only prepare it with the "recommended" amount of ice, which he explained, the cup would be about half full of ice. Since I was in a hurry during my second visit, I accepted it. Unfortunately, the drink literally tasted like dirty water instead of the rich, flavorful Dirty Ceylon Boba I had enjoyed on my first visit. When I returned for the third time, I again requested light ice, and he refused, saying store policy required the Dirty Ceylon Boba to be made with half a cup of ice. I explained that I regularly order the same drink with light ice at five other Milk Jar locations without any issues. He asked which locations they were, and after I listed them, he responded that those stores should also be following the policy. I then asked where customers could read this policy, and he pointed to a sheet of paper taped to his computer monitor--something customers cannot even see. I explained that accommodating simple requests like light ice is common practice at many restaurants and coffee shops and is part of good customer service. Only after a lengthy discussion did he agree to make it with less ice, and even then he seemed reluctant. He still added more ice than I requested, and I had to ask him to remove more ice and add more tea before it matched what I had originally asked for. What I don't understand is why this location is so inflexible when every other Milk Jar location--including this same location on my first visit--had no problem honoring the exact same request. If this is truly a company-wide policy, then it should be applied consistently across all stores. If it isn't, then this location is creating an inconsistent customer experience. To be fair, once the drink was finally made with light ice, the Dirty Ceylon Boba tasted excellent--rich, flavorful, and exactly how I know it should taste. The issue wasn't the drink; it was the customer service and the unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable customer request. Unfortunately, because of these experiences, I won't be returning to this location. I'll continue visiting the other Milk Jar locations that consistently provide both great drinks and excellent customer service.

I believe the food tastes significantly better than Kyoto, just down the street. It's a good bit cleaner inside too. However, on take out orders, be prepared to wait. 4x takeout and the order has NEVER been ready even close to when promised. Tonight said 35 minutes. Approaching an hour now and no signs of being ready.... So if you're interested in takeout here, (the food has been good) I suggest you show up 30 minutes after the promised time... even after putting in review still not ready....

We are in Mason OH for a sporting event and my daughter was craving sushi. After a quick search on…read moregoogle and Yelp she found this restaurant and based on the reviews decided to check it out. It's located in a strip mall next to Kroger. It's a smallish restaurant that has six 4+ top tables and a sushi bar. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a nice woman who was also our waitress and prepared food. The menu included some basic sushi rolls, a few speciality rolls, hibachi items, rice bowls and appetizers. It's small but includes a lot of classics. We ordered two house salads, miso soup, gyoza, crab Rangoon, spicy tuna roll, tempura California roll, and Thai boba tea. (We were hungry!) We had read a few reviews that service was slow but we had the opposite experience. The food came out extremely fast! Our salads and soup arrived first and then almost everything arrived at once, hot and fresh! The restaurant only had 2 other seated tables but they had a fair amount of togo orders while we were waiting. Let's start with salad and soup - traditional hibachi type salad and soup. The salad had the dressing on the side in cute heart shaped bowl. The soup was traditional and was hot and tasty. Next up appetizers - the menu didn't indicate the gyoza was deep fried but it was very good too. Crispy on the outside and moist and filling in the middle. The crab Rangoon had been mentioned in previous reviews and I'm so glad we tried it. It's on the sweeter side but filling is very creamy with pieces of imitation crab. I'd recommend them both. Finally onto the rolls - my daughter loved her California tempura roll - packed with traditional California roll filling and perfectly fried. My spicy tuna roll was extremely delicious, a little spicy and packed with flavor. Our total was $45, but we had a really great and extremely filling meal. I'd highly recommend dining in or ordering togo. Service was excellent and our waitress was so nice. One last detail, they have wooden chairs with smiley faces cut out.
