Finally gave this place a try through Grubhub and I was pleasantly surprised by the menu variety. I wasn't really sure what to expect but I ended up getting several things to try. Peanut butter banana crunch flatbread- perfect mix of PB&B with a sprinkle of crunchy granola. Yum! Jalapeño corn side- Smoky and sweet, ten out of ten. Kale apple slaw side - fresh and crispy, slightly sweet Detox smoothie - I loved the refreshing ginger and greens mix, though I was disappointed too see that it was served in a styrofoam cup The prices were very affordable and the portions reflect the cost, which is a nice change from the typical large portions served nowadays. Smoothies come in a variety of flavors and can choose many add-ons such as flax chia and pea protein. Would return

Really poor customer service wouldn't give me a drink holder because I had two drinks and not 4. Makes zero sense. 20 dollars for 2 drinks and can't even get a drink holder.

Watered down strawberry and banana frozen nothingness.

I don't know what just even happened. My teenage daughter says this place has amazing smoothies. Just went in and grabbed a strawberry - banana smoothie. I feel like I'm in a bad sitcom episode. Especially after reading all of the great reviews. My smoothie is watered down and bland and doesn't taste good at all. I'm shocked. I'll stick with my own smoothies that I make at home. Much better.

    Thai Chicken Wrap

My daughter and I had lunch here yesterday and were really disappointed in the quality and taste of the food and smoothies. I ordered the Thai Chicken Wrap with a side of Jalapeño Corn. My daughter ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Sun Chips. After ordering water we were talked into a smoothie when, after we initially declined the upsell, we were told that we could buy one and have it put into two separate cups. My daughter chose the Strawberry-Banana (Jetty Punch). Awful lunch. Just awful wraps. The worst part was the artificial tasting chicken. The cheap chicken was so terrible tasting that we both pulled it out of our wraps. It had the soy based flavor of cheap school burgers and an odd texture. The seasonings in the wraps were so mild that there was no way of telling it was a Thai or a Buffalo wrap. Neither one of us could finish even half of it. The jalapeño corn had not a hint of spice or jalapeño and was bland. Now to the smoothie. How can they call what they serve a smoothie and how do they rate so highly? We did see mostly teens and young adults coming and going and none ordered food. The smoothie has so much blended ice in it that it is just a slushy. A bland, watery slushy. Again, just very cheaply made. This is a place I would not return to again.

One size fits all and one kids size smoothie.

My mom was craving a smoothie and we happened to drive by this place. Looks fresh, clean and additional food items in case you want to eat (not just drink). I noticed the smoothie menu didn't have multiple prices so I asked the young woman behind the counter about their size options. There are non. It's one size only. And the cups are huge! There was no way I could drink all of that. The woman suggested a couple of things and I chose the kids size jetti junior which is a 12 oz. strawberry and banana smoothie. It was good, the bananas took over the strawberry taste. My mom had the peaches N silk and substituted the bananas for pineapples. She liked it but said the flavors weren't strong.

The first time I've tried Tropical Smoothie Café was in another State (Georgia) and was hooked. The only time I got to eat there if I traveled back home. Recently I just found out that we had a location in Cincinnati and was ecstatic! I truly love it here! The food is always good, smoothies are reasonable pricing, and the service is fast! Besides smoothies, they have sandwiches, salads and serve breakfast all day. The calories are listed next to the meal for those who are health cautious. With every meal you can get a smoothie for additional $3.50 (they only have one size, large). My fave is their flatbreads! I am absolutely obsessed with the Chipotle Chicken Flatbread which has the chipotle mayo, lettuce, bacon, sliced grilled chicken breast with a side of the Kale apple slaw (you can choose a side between that and chips). My Mr. was with me and he got the Tropical Chicken Salad Sandwich with Kale apple slaw as well. We split the Avocolada for our smoothie. The food is always good. Very consistent! There are perks as well! If you download the app, you get $5.00 off for every $50.00 dollars you spend (they may have changed it). Also if you look at your receipt, there is a survey you can take and you write a validation code so your next visit you can get a smoothie for $1.99. What a deal! I'll always rave about this place!

Such a hidden gem for fantastic smoothies in the Florence area! It was our first time visiting, and the cashier was patient with us and willing to answer questions we have! The smoothies tasted fantastic, had a great texture and were overall just so worth it

I like this place. Lots of options! I've tried the Korean BBQ taco and Cilantro fish taco - Both were spicier than I expected but I like heat so that was a pleasant surprise for me. I'm not a huge fan of the Cranberry pecan chicken sandwich. When I ordered it there wasn't enough chicken salad near the edges so you're just eating bread. But the Moho mojo club sandwich was very delicious, great option. I got a Fruit medley with my to-go order and it made everything sticky because the fruit syrup was on the outside of the container and got everywhere. Small detail but not cool. Lastly, I've tried the Acai berry boost smoothie. Tasted good, can't complain. I'm not sure if everything on the menu fits with the tropical theme of the restaurant but I don't really mind. In my opinion this place is a solid choice for a quick bite to eat!

All those greens...it has to be good for you!

Our host was able to make reservations for seating areas for large numbers of people, so once we had two areas of a dozen or more, and a couple other times we had one area of that size. This flexibility was a big plus because we could only guess at how many would make it each time. We had ice-cold beers of every description, including IPAs, hazys, and other local crafts. I can't name them all, and some drafts aren on the printed menu, bu5 8 kniw we had Psychopathy, a flavorful IPA, and Seeing Colors Tropical IPA, with a sweeter / hazy profile. Dont miss their cocktails! We loved the S'More Espresso Martini: vodka, chocolate liqueur, coffee tiqueur, and espresso :-) So much yum! And we ordered various pizzas. Our favorite was the Scenic Supreme (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red onions, green peppers, black olives) and the Vista Veggie (about the same without the meats). I also saw friends devouring Caprese Canyon (olive oil, minced garlic, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, roma tomatoes, balsamic drizzle). And of course regular pepperoni. Tasty crust, tasty red sauce, (you could get white sauce), generous toppings. We got the large sizes, which were enough for at least four people per pie. Sandwich-wise, the most popular was the Cuban Reuben: marble rye, corned beef, ham, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, dill pickle, and Russian dressing. It's the added ham and pickles that move it toward a Cuban sandwich. Well-stacked, hot, and flavorful. For local flavor, the Goetta sandwich: that flavorful Cincinnati oat-pork hash, with candied bacon, american cheese, pickled jalapeños, lettuce, and ranch. Here and there we shared Buffalo fried-Cauliflower with celery and ranch on the side. This was. Not as spicy as it could be. But if you're going to eat cauliflower, this is tasty approach. We like the tangy Fried Pickle Spears better, served with lightly-spicy chipotle ranch. And we added some fresh crunchy Caesar salads, too, and and amazing pecan, apple, blue cheese, cranberry salad! So many candied pecans! Somehow, the servers kept up with an erratic flow of orders from different groups, keeping track on portable devices, so it was easy for each group to settle their own bill as-needed. It may not sound like much, but it was impressively smooth and error-free. And the staff remained helpful, and cheerful throughout. They built a large playgroup area with slides and climbers and more. Inside there's a large play camper that we spent a lot of time in, too! This is a great place for fresh-air dining, for large groups, and especially for kids. We lived the food and drink. Lots of wonderful leftovers, especially those huge pizzas!

Then I thought okay it's mid week, lunch time, so I came in. I was limited on time, came in and ordered a pizza and a beer. Told the server she could serve it in the to go box since I had to go sooner than I would have liked. Service was friendly, prompt and she still checked on me after I had paid. Although the place was not busy, there was a large table with a baby and 2 pre schoolers. They were all well behaved, but still I'm always surprised that breweries are now for kids. I really liked the decor!

I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and unfortunately it tasted awful. The chicken salad itself wasn't good, with very large chunks of onion that completely overpowered the flavor. The shop also only offers one type of bread--white--which made the sandwich feel even more plain. Overall, the presentation looked sloppy and the taste was very disappointing. I always like to support local sandwich shops and spread a little love when I can, but this experience just didn't work for me. Sadly, I don't see myself coming back.

This place has tons of parking which is free. The pricing for mini golf was really good better than anywhere else - unlimited and two different 18-hole courses (I will say the courses itself could use an upgrade - new paint or adding some objects to the course to make the established holes a bit more challenging. We paid 9 dollars per person. The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.
