Went grocery shopping and saw that this bubble tea shop was finally open. Gave this place a shot and honestly I loved my hot matcha milk cap. The salted foam and their own blend of matcha was pretty good in my opinion. As for my popcorn chicken, it was pretty average and the chunks of it are a good size. Maybe add a secret seasoning for flavor??? Idk I'll give it another go since they RECENTLY opened. Service was friendly as I was greeted when I walked in and my order came out pretty quick. I got my order within 10min. I love that this boba place is on my side of town and only a couple minutes away so I can get my boba fix. Where as the other boba places are WAAAYY on the opposite side of town. The seating area is pretty spacious and has plenty of space for folks to grab a quick bite, hang out with love ones, and has individual seating for people to work on their laptops/tablets. Happy to see a new boba spot in town, it's good to have options. Boba is good, a little bit stickier than T4 (I'm a fan of this). Not as many options as T4 but it has the drinks I like and it's at a good location. I hope I can update this review after some time. I ordered ahead through the app for pick up at 4:22pm, I arrived at 4:20 and it was very busy. I waited until 4:30 to ask for my order, and was told that it was being worked on. At 4:45, a full 33 minutes after placing my order for two drinks, they began serving drinks to people who had walked in after I arrived, and placed their order in-person very well after I placed mine online. I asked for a refund and they said I will receive it in 2 days. Hope they can get their business together, but I won't be wasting an hour of my time there any time soon! read more

First time trying and most likely my last! I've had kung fu tea in vegas and was curious to try this location (I should've stayed curious). The boba had a decent taste and was quite chewy, but the milktea.......... if I was craving the taste of kung fu milktea then I would have drank a bottle of water instead. The milktea was either so watered down or just originally lacked flavor. I love oolong but this was just sad. As big fans of Kung Fu Tea, we were excited to try out their newest location in Tracy.  However, our second time at this location was a miss.  We ordered two drinks with boba, and the boba was extremely hard (most likely not fully cooked) to the point of being inedible.  I have never had boba that was so hard it was inedible.  We mentioned this to the manager and she shrugged it off like it wasn't her problem.  She did however offer to give an additional topping free of charge - which we accepted.  Shortly after we ended up asking for a refund since we were extremely disappointed with our drinks. I am a Kung Fu tea lover first off, but today was quite interesting. Pros: The claw machine The tea is always good. Cons The staff needs more training on the types of teas they have; for example, when asked for a brown sugar milk tea, the cashier looked at me confused and said, What is that? (That was my first instance.) On 12/26/2023 I went in with my boyfriend after running some errands. We waited in line for about 10 minutes to order our drink, which is fine (we are very patient); others were not so patient, so that's why it's a con. It was 6 p.m., and they were out of numerous toppings and teas. There was only one employee running the whole boba shop; she was making all the drinks and ringing everyone up. She looked exhausted and drained, but she was doing a great job because that could not be me. The wait time to receive our drinks after we ordered them was about 20-25 minutes. This shop seems unorganized and probably needs to hire more people. This is Tracy, and we don't have things like this, so people like to try new things. It will be busy, and also, because 50% of the population is Asian, we love tea. If you want to enjoy a quiet space, this is not it. Go to Starbucks. Anyway, shout out to the girl in the pink and brown braids doing everything by herself; the line was to the door. Shame on the managers for not putting more people to work. read more

So the story was I bought 5 drinks with a total of $31.65 and of course, I did qualify for the promo that I added the picture below. I asked the cashier if I could get that free drink and she said if I wanted it I had to make another order because she already submitted my order and couldn't add that free drink anymore. this place sucks. 2.7 out of 10 I've had 4 visits here all like 1-2.5 week gaps in between each visit, and somehow there was always an error. Each time I've gone in it was never busy, I'd usually be helped immediately or second or third in line after walking through the door. First visit error was small, was missing toppings in two of my drinks when it came out but I just asked if they could fix it and they removed the cover and poured some drink out to add the toppings;no problem easy fix. Second visit I ordered oolong milk tea and popcorn chicken. Oolong didnt even taste how it should, it just tasted like black milk tea. There was two guys working and when I mentioned the popcorn chicken, the cashier turned around and snickered to his coworker who mightve been handling the kitchen, who then seemed visibly disappointed about having to make it (do their job). Note the popcorn chicken and drinks have to be placed on two separate orders, and when doing tap to pay it goes to a different device to tap to complete the payment. (First pay for drinks and then separate order to pay for popcorn chicken) Third visit error made me really tilt my head like ????Why did I even come here again? But what happened was I placed a phone order for two drinks with boba and then I let them know I was gonna order popcorn chicken as well. Well anyway I get there after calling 10-15 mins ago, drinks were ready but they were just starting the popcorn chicken, and THEN when it FINALLY came out, I go to grab the big straw for drinks and skewer for chicken, and they have NEITHER! WHY couldn't the cashier/whoever answered the phone let me know that before I ordered both? I looked at the two workers (one guy and 1 girl) and said "Hey do you guys have big straws or sticks??" and they just were like "No we dont unfortunately." and the guy has the nerve to tell me "You can check SaveMart. They might have them" No mf'er, you can tell your management that youre out of the essential supply to be able to drink properly and maybe they can get that taken care of? Lastly, I decided to give it another try today (gonna be last and final) because I wanted popcorn chicken. I went at 5pm. The girl tells me "Our kitchen is closed." ????????? It's 5 in the evening you guys dont close for another 4 hours? I can understand closing kitchen 30 mins and even maybe an hour before store close, but 4 hours early?? To end it off, 75¢ regular boba and it's served in clumps? Doesn't even go through the straw. I doubt the boba is freshly made, probably just microwaved and then covered with the sugar syrup they use for drinks. I was initially pretty stoked about a new boba shop coming to Tracy given we only really have T4 and Quickly (and barely THub in MH). The bar is low! Despite this, Kung Fu Tea didn't live up to my standards when considering consistency, price, and quality. I've been to KFT twice in person and once through DD and have ordered different drinks to gain an understanding of their drink profile -- the milk tea on my first visit tasted decent but on my second visit was not at all the same. The consistency of the boba balls was super delicious on my first visit but overdone on my second visit. From Door Dash, I ordered a simple Honey GT with Milk Cap and oolong jellies and the drink was arrived at my doorstep didn't have either topping. The drink itself costed more than $8.00 on DD! ): Needless to say, I was really disappointed. The drinks are very pricey, even a medium sized (their smallest size) simple milk tea is over $5.00. Also, on my first visit ever, the drink wasn't filled up at all. There wasn't anyone else inside the store the two times I went in person, and therefore it's not like it was too busy and the drink maker didn't notice the drink being not fully filled. I think they need to work on cooking the boba well, making the drinks consistently, making sure their DD orders are correctly made, and being honest with their customers (especially with that price!).
