We asked for them to be made as they come (no alterations - see below). I wanted a milk tea originally, but nothing sounded appealing. I ended up getting their Matcha Milk Cap, which I had before at their other location. Nice to see that there's another boba shop in Tracy! I came on a Friday afternoon and it was surprisingly slow. I would think since its pretty close to the middle schools around, it would be crowded but to my surprise there was only myself and one other person there. I got the Honey Green Milk tea and it tastes just like I remember at other Kung Fu Tea spots I have been to. The boba although was a bit hard which I didn't really enjoy. Pretty good has some really good items on the menu and some that are okay. But overall they are good. We enjoy the brown sugar boba but ever since they removed it we have not been there. Very clean and modern. The staff was really nice however they didn't have the sesame matcha drink in stock. I wanted to try their popcorn chicken but the kitchen was not open yet. I did come in 30 mins after they opened so maybe its too early. Ended up ordering the matcha with brown sugar boba and a peach black tea with crystal boba. Must admit the drinks were pretty good. Our family stopped by Kung Fu tea in Tracy and bought 3 drinks. 1 Milk tea- that tasted more like milk with a hint of floral, not green tea at all. 1 Thai iced tea- least favorite did not taste like Thai tea- too milky, tasted more like chocolate milk. 1- lychee green tea that was the best one out of the 3. Other Kung Fu Tea franchises that we have been to were very good. This one unfortunately is lacking in the quality of the drinks and they even charge more for less ice unlike other boba shops. read more

I've been here a few times and the drinks are on the better side. It's nice that Tracy has a new boba shop. I wish the service was better. My friend and I went in about 45min to closing. It seemed like they were rushing us out. I asked for less ice and less sugar. They gave me a drink with no ice and a lot of sugar. Then were visibly smug when I asked for it to be remade. I honestly have really enjoyed every drink I ordered. The drink tasted great and the boba was always good, never hard like some reviews have stated. Maybe I lucked out. So they get two stars for that. But I am SO disappointed in the advertisement that you get one free topping up to a .75 value, per drink, once a day, when you order on the app. It worked the first time, but every app order thereafter it applies the free topping and at checkout, an error pops up "coupon already used" and charges me for the topping. I have reached out to Kung Fu twice, they said the local store manager will contact me. No one ever does. I asked the girl working there, she said her manager would know the answer but they weren't available to talk. Figure it out people! I hate false advertisement and then no follow up to correct it. I heard they just opened, so hopefully they will iron out the kinks and I can leave a different review in the future. We ordered 8 drinks and all us girls at work each got something different. We were all in agreement that each of the drinks was way too sweet (even mine, which was supposed to be only 70% sweetness). The boba bubbles were baffling... the consistency of the boba was way off, some of the bubbles were extremely hard like they weren't soaked long enough, some were mushy like they were soaked too long, and some were just right (all of these consistencies were in ONE drink, mind you!). The Thai tea did not taste like Thai tea and was not orange like it is supposed to be! I cannot speak to the ambience of the shop, as we ordered via DoorDash and had it delivered. read more

Went here in NYE; they were BUSY and maybe one of the only places open later. But hey we finally have Boba on this side of Tracy! The decor inside was cute and very typical to a boba place (bright/colorful). We got the pistachio pick me up and the Mango tea boba. The pistachio was good but for the Mango drink, the tea was a bit too strong and gave a bitter taste. It's probably going to take them a while to perfect their drinks but it was decent (similar to the other options in Tracy). read more

I was excited to try this place since I have been to the one in NYC when I lived there. However, it was short from what I expected. Pros: -Boba was decent and comparable to T4 but not boba guys quality, but much better than cafe dazzling quality. I can't complain as that's good as it gets in Tracy lol. - location. Closer to me than T4 so I can satisfy my boba cravings. Cons: - Boba portion. Cmon, for an additional.75 cents, I'd expect at least an inch worth of boba, which is pretty standard. I was surprised that I finished all the boba after a few sips before I left the parking lot - they did a good job at promoting their app but what's the point of downloading it only to be told that it's not working right now and that I wouldn't be able to use it for a free topping and accumulate reward points?! At least offer to comp a free topping for the download loading effort. Now I'm getting tons of promotional spam and not able to use them. - cashier was nice but wasn't knowledgeable in her teas. She didn't make any suggestions or asked me any questions to help me make a selection. I was obviously indecisive and needed help choosing. - lack of flavor variety. Everything I asked about was mainly filled with creamer (no fresh milk) and artificial flavors, or could not answer my question. Would be nice if the menu could be specify what was in each flavor vs having to ask for each menu item. Finally a good option for classic style boba and drinks! The service wasn't bad, very nice workers. The drinks were made quickly and correctly, I usually stick with mango green tea and added boba which was fresh. Went grocery shopping and saw that this bubble tea shop was finally open. Gave this place a shot and honestly I loved my hot matcha milk cap. The salted foam and their own blend of matcha was pretty good in my opinion. As for my popcorn chicken, it was pretty average and the chunks of it are a good size. Maybe add a secret seasoning for flavor??? Idk I'll give it another go since they RECENTLY opened. Service was friendly as I was greeted when I walked in and my order came out pretty quick. I got my order within 10min. I love that this boba place is on my side of town and only a couple minutes away so I can get my boba fix. Where as the other boba places are WAAAYY on the opposite side of town. The seating area is pretty spacious and has plenty of space for folks to grab a quick bite, hang out with love ones, and has individual seating for people to work on their laptops/tablets.
