Service-wise, probably one of the worst Kung Fu Tea places to go. I was there on March 22 around 6 PM, and the young ladies behind the counter were quite rude. We ordered a piña colada drink, and when it didn't taste right and I told them it was chalky, they laughed amongst themselves and responded, "Well, we followed the recipe card." When I noticed my friend still wasn't drinking it, I went back to the counter and asked if it was possible for it to be made with less powder. When we got the new drink back, it was the same problem, if not worse, and we were told they could not refund it. No other option was offered, not even a different drink. I have been to plenty of other Kung Fu Tea shops, and if there has ever been an issue with my drink order, pearls, or anything, they are more than willing to fix it or offer a new drink. It's about time Woodbridge got a KFT! Always solid when you have a quick boba craving and now it's only a couple of minutes away. Been here about 6 or 7 times already and depending on the time/day you might be in for a wait. I think they're still settling in but the drinks have all been consistent. We've gotten the regular milk tea, black sesame tea and slushes, and the chocolate slush with no issues with the drinks themselves. The staff has been friendly for the most part so pretty good across the board. They're going to be seeing a lot more of me in the near future. read more

Overall as a chain, kung fu tea has provided me a mediocre experience. The teas them selves I usually have to problems with but the tapioca pearls have always fallen short for me. They lack flavor and a desirable consistency. The Oreo wow used to always be good but up until a couple months ago it only tastes like milk. I went to Kung Fu tea last Saturday to check out the new location. I was shocked to find workers there practicing unhygienic practices with drink preparation. I saw a worker using their bare hands to both handle customer cards and cash while also being the one to manage labeling cups for orders. I saw their hands touching the INSIDE of those cups. You would hope this kind of behavior wouldn't be happening out in their open kitchen, but during COVID no less? I left after seeing that. read more

I ordered online and came to pick up near my time and they told me they were only getting ready to make my order. 20 minutes later they're still not done with my order. Seems like a pretty common complaint as many customers there have mentioned the wait time is ridiculously long and there wasn't even that many people in the store. Have you ever wanted to order boba but get it 20 minutes after you did? This is the place for you! It's new so I'm assuming that's why it's a bit on the slower end, but mobile order would def be the way to go (sike it usually doesn't work). Sometimes your order will be wrong but just call it a mystery drink to feel better. The location is clean and cute so I do highly recommend in that regard and it's a great addition to the area.
