The 3bedroom house was very clean and the rustic log cabin look made us feel like we were truly on a ranch. The safari ride was so fun and the animals were out and several came Up to the hummer we were riding in..the hayride was an experience as we soaked in the gorgeous sunset! I was unaware of this until after the deadline for free cancelation. Upon learning this two weeks before my stay, I tried to contact them via phone and e-mail, never a response. I guess they never intended to make it right. We did not go!! They ruined my 35th Wedding Anniversary!! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE, GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY THEY WILL SCAM YOU WITHOUT EVEN TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. We wanted to cook out, fish, drink coffee on the porch, watch sunsets etc. Not possible in a lodge room! They wanted a review this is it! I would have given them 0 if possible.

Our ride was stunning across the fields and trails on the ranch. And they even picked up my dad in the 4-wheeler to feed the cows while we were horse riding so he felt he could be a part of the day (we had purchased feed for the cows ahead). The entire family enjoyed the ride itself, the guides helped us take photos. Next time we would consider staying in the cabins on the ranch. The driveway was dark, but the cabins were well lit and don't lock. We stayed in one of the 4 identical cabins. The accommodations were nice and had a loft upstairs with two twins. It is a steep ladder and great for kids, but not for adults. The decor was western and featured some taxidermy. This scared some of the little kids we knew at the wedding. The bathroom and main bedroom were a decent size and the kitchenette had a mini fridge and coffee machine, along with the living area with a small TV and chairs/small couch. The grounds were beautiful and was a true farm. The pool was great for the kids and the waterfall made it feel fancy. I loved the open greenery and the animals that roamed, along with the ponies and goats that you could get close to. There is a covered pavilion near the pool that was a hang out spot for our crew. The wedding itself was in the grass next to the reception venue, since it was too wet to have it down in the pasture. The reception venue was large and had high ceilings. The food was pretty good and the two outdoor firepit areas right outside became a place for guests to step out as well. Parking is in a grass lot so beware the shoes you where, especially if it has rained recently.

There's a large variety of wine to choose from, and my favorite of the day was the Tawny Port from the premium tasting (dangerously smooth.) The food was also better than expected. The hot honey flatbread was a big hit at our table, and the charcuterie paired really well with the wines. The amount of food was perfect for sharing and pacing yourself through the tastings. Staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to talk through the wines without being pushy...The whole place has that relaxed Texas country winery vibe, with cozy indoor and a nice patio outside. It was a cold winter night, so we mostly hung out in the tasting room, but next time I'd love to come back to do one of their vineyard tours. Overall, a great wine stop if you're in the Bryan/College Station area or just passing through.

We've never had a problem at resorts accepting our credit cards in the U.S. before. Our bank said if our card doesn't work, it's the campground's system. The bank doesn't give out zip codes. It looks like we won't be going to this beautiful park after all.
