Both rooms are nice. We booked Antoinette, but because of a temperature control glich, we were moved. Mrs Jean is the Inn Keeper. She's great! She and the staff provide an amazing breakfast spread. Muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, juice. Today's hot dish was a bacon egg quiche with sundried tomato puree. Mimosas with MH sparkling are included, as well. Your stay includes a hosted tour of the property and a wine and cheese from the Wine Bar. This was our third stay. We will do this again.

The woman at the front desk was nice and moved me to another room but the lack of basic cleanliness still applied. Also a giant iron bed frame a foot taller than me was leaning at a precarious angle over the head of the bed because the screws were stripped and since I didn't want to be crushed to death, murdered or contract some disease I immediately left and cancelled my reservation. Of course, that and anything else Aggie is played way up here at the Texas A&M Hotel. I was in town for a Class of 1980 Reunion and snagged a very reasonable $142 per night group rate. I didn't get the Kyle field view, but on a non-game weekend, so what? I enjoyed my 3 day stay very much. The room was spacious, had nice desk space, plenty of storage, and really comfortable bed that I slept well on, good WIFI, and an excellent shower. I ordered breakfast sandwiches at the cafe on ground floor, checked out the Aggie branded merchandise at their well appointed gift shop, enjoyed a grand happy hour reception at Block T, and felt honored by all the Howdy Hospitality. This Hotel's campus location made walking anywhere very convenient, especially since I didn't rent a car. This place most probably takes on more boisterous energy on game day, and I was happy with the slower pace during my stay. The Texas A&M Hotel would be a definite first choice in some future return trip to Aggieland.
