The entire process of bidding, buying, scheduling pick-up, and pick up day is very organized and runs smoothly. When I go to pick up items they are usually all together in an area and I don't have to go searching for them. I have had an item get broken before pick-up and upon arrival they apologized and refunded my money. I have had a couple items be taken by another bidder at pick-up (accidentally or intentionally), but Herron Auction has always helped try and retrieve the item or refunded my money. They are a very busy auction company with multiple estate auctions and real estate auctions going on a regular basis. In my many encounters, I have always been spoke to in a professional and courteous manner. On many occasions, I have seen Kevin and his staff multi-tasking while assisting customers in an organized and professional manner. I have been at pick-ups where it was chaotic with parking issues and multiple buyers showing up at one time and it was easy to see how stressful and taxing it could be, but I have never in my multiple encounters seen anything but professionalism. They are all very personable people. I bypass other auctions to wait for upcoming Herron Auctions because I know they are a well-oiled machine and the variety and quality of the items in their auctions are always worth the wait!

Today I asked for either a refund in full or that they ship at their expense. No refund given, god knows when and if they will even find my items. Condescending tone of voice from the owner, seemed irate that I've called a few times. I was unfailingly polite until today. No more. They are either incompetent or lying. Or both. I will never do business with them again, and will file complaints both with HiBid and the Kentucky regulatory agency that licenses auctioneers. Wildly unprofessional. I'm just lucky it wasn't a lot of money. Which isn't the point. Small purchasers turn into repeat customers if treated well. Or just OK.
