We contacted this company before the holidays and they came straight out to provide a bid. We actually waited several months before officially going with this company and couldn't be happier. They were easy to work with, the employees were very communicative and we worked together in finding out what we wanted and they exceeded our expectations. They installed our fence to ensure the highest and look was sharp and quality based. We were provided several different quotes and Kustom Fencing was on average the same cost of everyone else. If I need to get another fence done I will be giving them a call, thank you Craig and guys on getting this job completed. Also, I'd like to note, the crew who worked on my fence were fantastic, the crew gave different ideas, and we worked together closely on what I wanted for the fencing and gate due to some landscape challenges. My 20 year old gate opener finally gave up. I called several companies and Corey from Kustom Fence was the first to respond. They came out the next day to check and see what they were up against. He called to tell me that my mother board on the existing unit was out. He proceeded to give me options and what I like is that they didn't try to preasure me into a new unit. He simply gave me the prices for options and let me decide. My wife and I decided the best option was to replace the unit. I got several bids and did my best to compare apples to apples. While Kustom Fence was not the cheapest, I felt they really knew their stuff and would not only do a good job but still be around if anything came up. I'm happy to say I was right. (and who doesn't like being right!) we scheduled the install for Wednesday. The night before Corey called to let me know Derrick would be our tech and he would be out first thing. Just as he promised Derrick arrived early and immediately got to work. Once he was done he called me outside and reviewed what he had done and provided thorough directions on our new Liftmaster unit. He cleaned up the work area and was nice enough to haul away the old unit. A half hour after Derrick left Corey called to follow up and ensure I was satisfied with the install. He even called the following day to confirm everything was working as intended. Honestly I thought this type of service no longer existed. Happy to say it does with Kustom Fence. I'm actually going to let this company KUSTOM FENCE AND THEIR OWNER CHASE make their own review. We paid them $15,000 (half down total job over $30,000) on August for a fence (that went halfway around my property) We were told they would start 6 weeks afterwards... so figure end of September or beginning of October. NOPE! CHASE AND KUSTOM FENCE NEVER ORDERED THE WOOD FOR MY FENCE!! WTF DIDN'T YOU ORDER THE WOOD WHEN IT WAS PAID FOR IN AUGUST!!!!!!!!!!! My father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in October, and we REALLY needed this gate complete so we could leave town and still... NOTHING. No phone calls apologizing, no reason, NOTHING!!! Finally, 1 older man and 1 young man show up (Mid-November) and they put up part of the fence and here we are still waiting for the most important part - the gate ...which we were told wouldn't be done until after Thanksgiving. (BTW today is December 10, 2022) My father passed away on December 8, 2022 (2 days ago) and guess what- I still don't have a complete gate. My husband called CHASE and told him about my father's passing, and CHASE said "We'll try to get it done Friday." THANKS FOR TRYING SO HARD! Friday comes and only the frame of the gate (which is NOT DONE BY KUSTOM FENCE) is complete because CHASE said his company didn't have the wood to complete my gate paid for in August. AGAIN CHASE WTF DIDN'T YOU ORDER THE WOOD WHEN IT WAS PAID FOR IN AUGUST!!!!!!!!!!! My husband tells CHASE to get this done, my wife's dad died, and WE HAVE TO LEAVE FOR THE FUNERAL!!! and CHASE said "Oh, I'll call you back or have someone come out on Monday." Remember he originally said Friday BTW... CHASE NEVER CALLED MY HUSBAND BACK ... NEVER SHOWED UP EITHER. Here we are on Saturday morning, I'm frantic in tears, terrified I'm not going to be able to leave for my dad's funeral if this isn't done in time and it's not like I can call and ask him... HE DOESN'T CALL AND CERTAINLY DOESN'T CARE! I hope I can go to the funeral since I couldn't leave town to see my dad before he died. And Nothing this man or this company will ever do to change how their unprofessional behavior NOT RETURNING CALLS - NOT SETTING GOOD APPOINTMENTS OR COMMUNICATION WITH THE CLIENT - HAS RUINED MY CHANCE TO SEE MY DAD BEFORE HE DIED!!!!! So, if you're reading this post, you're looking for a fence company and I ask you to decide, was $30,000 worth this company and the incredible heartbreak and loss this has caused me and I still can't leave because I don't have a way to lock the property. Wonder how they'd feel if I took that long to pay them! As of now, December 10, 2022 this job, paid for on August 15, 2022 IS STILL NOT COMPLETE! I will comment next when they finish. UPDATE TO POST: So, we just received a text message from CHASE with KUSTOM FENCE NO APOLOGY FOR WHY HE NEVER CALLED BACK YESTERDAY. NO REASON FOR WHY THE JOB WASN'T DONE LIKE HE TOLD US IT WOULD BE YESTERDAY. HERE IS THE MESSAGE: Good Morning, Everything will be wrapped up BY Monday morning. So in other words, tell your wife she has to wait at least 3 more days to visit her grieving family because I'm busy with my weekend and don't need to explain why I never called you back YESTERDAY or completed the job yesterday LIKE I SAID I WOULD. This is true PAIN AND SUFFERING If I want to be with my family I will have to pay someone to house sit. I'm so heartbroken! I contacted three companies to replace my gate and install a solar-powered opener. They were the first to get back to me and the least expensive. Tom was great about coming out for the estimate and working with the large gate post that were already in place. The installation was ahead of schedule. Had an appointment at 9am to get estimate on fencework. The owner called me at 8:15 and said he was at my gate. I could not meet him at that time. I assumed he'd come back at our scheduled time but instead I got a Text message from him saying "due to heavy workload, I will be unable to give you a bid." Note that for comments before 4/16, Kustom Fence was under previous management. Mike and his crew do outstanding quality work at a very competitive price. They fenced our 5 acres with a combination of 3-rail split cedar and t-post ranch fence, and custom-made 3 driving gates, including an iron main gate with automatic opener. We had a few changes to the original bid at our request, and all work was first rate. We get constant positive comments from other folks in the neighborhood. I was actually excited to call this company because they have been in business for a long time. It took me a while to get a hold of them and it took me four days to get a quote after the guy had gone out and looked at it. The pricing was extremely high and overpriced.I can do the work myself for probably an eighth of what they were trying to charge me. I had good intentions I really did so I asked him to provide me two separate quotes one would be cheaper than the other due to the amount of fencing on it. The PDF copy of the quote was kind of difficult to see on my phone which I didn't tell him but I did ask him for a second quote numerous times. And his response was "you could have just crossed it off yourself...whatever...". Are you kidding me ? That is the customer service I get? Not sure if he was having a bad day or not but they have lost my business. I've never had that kind of response from someone who is supported by clients...especially in Texas! Thanks CHIP read more

I had a wooden fence installed only 10 months ago and 13 of the metal posts became loose. Getting in contact with the owner and getting him to respond to emails or messages was difficult and frustrating . When he finally came out to look at the issue two weeks later he was very condescending and arrogant. His customer service was exttemely poor. If a customer is paying that kind of money for a product, most people would think that you would be bringing your "A" game and great customer service. He did not do that and I will NOT be recommending his services to anyone....extremely disappointed......... read more
