He was very thorough in detailing his suggestions for us and we eventually decided to zero-scape the front lawn. He gave us options to choose from, explained what has worked best for him in the past. He took out our existing bushes by our front windows, ensuring he got most, if not all of the roots so they wouldn't be an issue moving forward, planted 4-5 yucca plants, put granite rock down to cover the yard and our curb with a barrier around the whole area. We also went with a two-foot-wide extension from the side of our driveway that has 2" pavers and crushed granite so I could better get out of my vehicle since I have mobility issues. We also had him trim our huge Ash tree in the front since it needed it badly. Al was very professional, kept us in the loop on all decisions and got the job done quickly. I scheduled meeting for Friday at about 430 and they arrived timely. We spent about ten minutes going over the project and my asks. I was advised that I would receive a quote likely on Monday. The quote arrived on Tuesday and was much higher than the other's I received. Ultimately, that factored heavily into my selection decision. I did appreciate the follow up. I think this company could be a contender for other projects in the future.

Recently I had several fencing companies come out and give me a bid for fences for my house plus…read moretwo of my neighbors. We decided to split the costs on our adjoining fences. Brandon at Kyle fencing was the ONLY one of all the fencing companies who said he used wood screws instead of nail guns. At our last house we had a fence company come in and used nail guns and I swore never again. When it's time to replace a single picket or rail that's damaged, nail guns make the task ridiculously difficult. Plus, companies that use nail guns typically are trying to get the job done as fast as possible and then move on to the next one. That's not a formula for quality work. When I asked the other fence companies to add wood screws instead of nails, one flat out refused to do so and the other wanted $550 more for extra materials cost and extra time for labor. Brandon's bid came out below the two others even with using the same quality western red cedar and wood screws. He did a great job. Our fence is beautiful and I recommend him most highly. Now let me tell you the one thing in his Google reviews that's negative and then I'll tell you why. Don't expect to get an answer to your text message immediately back. In fact, you might not even get an answer back the same day. Sometimes I got an answer to my question two days later at 4:30 in the morning! Brandon's prices and his quality is so much better than others because Brandon doesn't sit behind a desk all day while he sends his workers out to do the jobs. Brandon IS Kyle Fencing and Kyle Fencing IS Brandon. This man works from can to can't 7 days a week, and when you realize this, give him a break if he gets home at 8:30 at night and chooses to eat supper and go to bed instead of answering your text message.
