At the same time she has great empathy and concern when you communicate your distress to her. Dr O manages my prescriptions - I do not see her for regularly for only "talk therapy". - In this role, she digs to find out what I'm dealing with - tragedies, annoyances and wins. I'm not receiving one-size-fits-all treatment. - She ALWAYS coordinates my regimen with my physician and LCSW therapist so that each knows what the other is doing and when changes may impact my mental or physical health. - Dr O stays current on new therapies/medications and adjusts my treatment carefully but aggressively so that I benefit from the best outcome. - She takes the state of my finances in to consideration, also, so that I'm getting the best outcomes possible, but when asked she works to find less expensive alternatives that are effective. (Having been uninsured three times during our relationship, this has been an enormous help and relief.) - And she checks in with me "off the clock" when things are particularly bad. How often does your doctor follow up with you to make sure you're okay? Personally I don't experience that level of care with otherwise excellent healthcare providers. Uber warm and fuzzy she's not, but Dr O is genuinely invested in my welfare and has been since the first time we met. It was a stroke of luck that I found her. If you wonder whether drug-therapy could improve your quality of life, make an appointment to see her. I've referred others to her. If she can help, she'll let you know. If not, she'll let you know. I only write this review so that it can help others considering Dr. Beaumont. I was a patient for…read moreroughly four months, having come to seek help with my anxiety issues (as this was listed as one of her specialities). As stated by others, Dr. Beaumont is a nice person and scheduling appointments was always easy. However, I left after four months because I recognized that I had made no progress in working to alleviate my issues. During several sessions, I mentioned various scenarios that induce anxiety and asked for actionable tips on what I can do to work to improve. Somehow Dr. Beaumont would either go off on a tangent regarding something actually irrelevant in her personal life, or try to guess (yes, guess) why I felt the way I stated in certain situations. The guesses were solely based on my appearance and what she'd learned about me up to that point. I can honestly say that the primary advice I received regarding my social anxiety was the following: Try asking people about themselves when starting a conversation, but avoid talking about politics and religion. Try complimenting people on what they're wearing and strike up a conversation from there. This is VERY common advice that I could have found in innumerable articles online instead of spending hundreds of dollars in therapy. Also, she suggested after only a few sessions that I consider anxiety medication, which is actually just antidepressants. She touted the potential benefits and a red flag went off for me at that point because she didn't even try to help me get to the root of my issues. It was a band-aid approach. Overall, I was very dissatisfied because I did not have a quality therapy experience with Dr. Beaumont. I would urge anyone who is looking for help with anxiety issues to seek assistance elsewhere. I frequently inquired about how to cope with anxiety (which should not be hard to help someone with if you have a doctorate in psychology! Very much questioning the legitimacy of that), and he beat around the bush with every question I had. He would say things like "that's rough" and never gave me an actual answer. On top of that, Wellman and Associates promised only a $10 copay for therapy sessions, yet billed my insurance for psychiatric evaluation sessions, leaving me with $100 charges for every session! They did not disclose this service they said they would be providing yet they maliciously went behind my back to pocket insurance money for their benefit! When I tried to contacting them about this, I received no email response and no one answered the phone. Please do yourself a favor and skip this group - they're extremely fraudulent and your mental health is the very last thing they care about. Very malicious behavior!

Unlike other neurologists, he came out to greet my mother and then walk with her to the exam room so he could observe her. He spoke directly to my mother and not to me, unlike other doctors when dealing with elderly. He was informative, looking into adaptive devices as the Need arose. Then one day, he asked me about my father's tremors (my father came to all of my mom's appointments). I explained that they were hereditary and his primary said there was little that could be done. He said there's always something that could be done. He outlined different approaches and explained that we'd try one, see if it helped. It didn't, however with the second meds, the tremors were nearly unnoticeable and my dad was able to enjoy bridge and going out to eat with friends without being self conscious. I've recommended him several times to friends of my parents and all were happy with him. He's compassionate, knowledgeable, and willing to try different things.

Which with the current administration this doesn't really matter to do a psychological evaluation because with open borders nobody is getting deported. Even prior they haven't been getting deported as much as they should so if you choose to waste your money here that is up to you. If you want to lie to immigration that is up to you. I'm so glad my sister got out of the scam and isn't even with her husband because she figured out it was a sham scam also marriage was where he tried to take advantage of her to get papers thru her and he was being fake in love with her, just happy when he's drinking beers like a 12 pack in one sitting and he even paid this place to do an evaluation on her so they can get they psychological part fulfilled so he can stay in America. After that my sister has reassessed her own personal relationship with her spouse and asked God for help because deep inside she had a feeling the whole relationship wasn't genuine as she was manipulated by him into getting married and the whole thing got rushed.
