I chose OG bc of the great reviews (thanks yelp!) Before going in I was actually nervous and a bit ashamed bc as an adult I have know idea about taxes yet I decided to elect as an S-Corp lol. Then I finally came in & was seen by Eli. Here are some highlights of my experience: Eli is very knowledgable and is able to explain everything easily so that people like me who feel like taxes are a foreign language can understand. I came in assuming I was going to owe so much bc I had no idea what I was doing or how taxes even worked.. but Eli answered all of my questions with patience even though I know I was probably asking the same question over & over lol. Now for 2019 I will not be stressed! Eli also shed some light on things I had no idea about like how putting money in an IRA can really help to save on how much I owe in taxes, and how I need to go ahead & pay estimated taxes twice a year, and other business related matters that as business owner i needed to know & did NOT beforehand. He never followed up with me, I called and messaged him repeatedly. The tax deadline was 4/18. The Friday before that date, he said he would contact me, and never did. I had to call him on 4/18/24 for my taxes to be processed. I asked him to mail me a hard copy of my tax returns, which Barbara usually did. That was April 18th. I didn't receive them in the mail. I gave him the time to process them and waited until June 1st. He said he mailed them. Yesterday was June 15th. It doesn't take 2 weeks to come in the mail, I live around the block from his office. I texted him asking what happened for the 3rd time, yesterday. He insisted he mailed them out, but then texted me asking for my address. I was like, if you mailed them, you should have my address. He said he would get back to me today. Today's business hours came and went, and he didn't get back to me. I called him and he has the audacity to try to mansplain and gaslight me, "Why are you being like this, Allison?" Then tells me to find someone else to do my taxes. I was like, "Do you really think I would use you services ever again?". I paid for this service , I'm entitled to a hard copy of my returns. I don't have a printer or computer . I would like to clear up some misunderstanding here. The other review is flat out making up bull…read morecrap. First thing that made me suspicious was him mentioning Danny taking the N25 bus. Danny does not take the N25 bus, in fact, he does not even live anywhere near the bus route. Danny drives to work every morning and generally has lunch break within the building. If he had any business in the vicinity, he would drive there. Second, during June of 2016, I was doing research on some tech companies for Danny. We were quite busy as it was earnings season. So, we had lunch together almost everyday in the building, talking about news and reports about the markets. If I recall, this was also the week before Brexit, which made it really intense in the offices. Third, anyone in the office will vouch for Danny as being an amicable and reserved person. The Merrill Lynch Great Neck branch has quite a diverse team with people coming from many different backgrounds. Danny is always smiling and greeting everyone in the morning. There were a few new analysts that joined the wealth management program that were of different race than Danny. Danny always approached the analysts first to strike up conversations and make them feel at ease in the new environment. As a matter of fact, it was one of the analyst that showed me this review. He was baffled by story. The person is not actually named "Tevin". He filed a report with the same story on another website under the name "Christopher". This person is hiding behind his computer screen, making up false accusations defaming someone who does not deserve such remarks. In this world, there will always be someone who hates you because you somehow rubbed them off the wrong way. The internet should not be a place for people personally attacking others and getting away with it. The only thing I can describe the other reviewer is that he is a coward.

Danny Xiao-Di Hu The Racist Financial Advisor:…read more The following is an email I sent to one of the higher-ups at this Merrill Lynch location on Northern Boulevard in Great Neck Good Evening, Mr. Totaro, I am writing you this evening in regards to an experience I had with one of the Financial Advisors for Merrill Lynch earlier this afternoon in a public setting. While on the N25 bus,it arrived at the stop of Northern Boulevard and Schenck Avenue, at about 10 to 15 minutes after 1pm. While on the side of the door about to come off, Mr. Hu said "Excuse me i'm coming off". I stepped to the side but then he used his hand and pushed me further to the left and said to me "Don't blame me for what your ancestors went through". I hadn't said anything to him prior to that comment at all but was too irritated after hearing that. I don't even understand why a remark like that came from him out of left field. Anyway after I get off the bus, I am about to cross the street when I just see him still staring at me and I ask him "Is there a problem...could you stop staring at me". I was a couple feet away from him when I said this, I was in the crosswalk and he was still in the sidewalk. He continued to stare at me and repeat what he said on the bus "Its not my fault what your ancestors went through"...Once again I never said anything prior to him making that statement about race or my ancestors. Mr. Danny Hu then told me "Maybe you should get a job monkey...do you know what a job is?...Thats where im going now?"..."Go back to selling drugs..." He said that to me while I was wearing my work outfit, which I know he clearly saw(I work for the company "Epson") I then said to Mr. Hu "Shut the hell up", and when I turned my back to him to cross the street, he said to me "Don't get hit by a car". After I was at the other bus stop across the street to go towards my job, I saw him walking towards the Merrill Lynch building and walked inside the building where I saw him go in the elevator. I did not attempt to cause any scene in the office building so I didn't try to confront him. I did however attempt to find someone to file a complaint with but could not get much help. Mr. Totaro, in addition to yourself, I have also reached out to the official Twitter page of Merrill Lynch and other pages the company has. I hope something can be done about this incident that happened with me; I'm sure the company must not want to be affiliated with someone like this who holds such deep racial resentment in their hearts. I hope this is not a company that encourages this type of behavior. Hopefully this issue can be solved as soon as possible.
