Shortly after leaving Albuquerque our car developed a clicking noise which we stopped and investigated by looking under the car, pulling on all plastic trim, looking under the hood for loose or failing belt, nothing but as we continued to drive it got worse and worse we finally pulled off the road in Vernon Texas looking to find a mechanic before things closed up for the weekend. We literally had been pulled over less than 30 seconds when a gentleman pulled over and asked if we needed help. I explained the need for a mechanic and described the noise. He said he had been driving behind us and could see the problem, and that he had a shop and would gladly do immediate triage on it for us for free. I asked if we could follow him as we were not from around here he said sure which ended up leading us to KwikKar. They fixed us up for free and had us back on the road in a few minutes with guidance for the part we need to order when we get back home! I really appreciate Jared and his staff taking time out of their day to get two little old ladies back on the road again safely. read more

I'd rate it 0 stars if I could. I've stopped here three times. First two I waited about 1.5 hours for a simple oil change. Felt very out of place as employees seemed a bit judgmental. Last time I stopped here I was next in line and had been waiting for about 10-15 minutes already when a vehicle pulled in from what seemed like a worker from the shop and was quickly let in line in front of me to the opened bay. Was very disappointed in their business etiquette and customer service. Will not return nor do I recommend anyone looking for a "kwik" service to stop by. read more

I needed to get my car inspected so I stopped by. The place was busy, but I decided to pull in. From the time I parked to the time I got my car back was 10 minutes at most. $14 bucks and I was out the door all legal. While I was there I got to talk to some of the other customers and they had nothing but good things to say about the detail service and the oil changes. All I needed was a sticker, but I will be back. If you need an inspection sticker, oil change, or any routine maintenance this is the place to go. The detail service looks good so I will be trying it out next time as well. read more

ok after all the work we did on my sons truck we went to have it aligned at quick car here in Vernon Friday only for them to tell us that we needed $1700 dollars to replace parts that we already replaced (we have the print out of what they said needed to be fixed) we was like hell no there is no way we need to replace all those parts again and that we would take it to charter tire quick kar informed us that no one would align it with out fixing it first so we left well well this moring we took it to charter tire and wouldnt you know it they checked everything that quick kar said needed to be fixed and they said it was all good and looked somewhat newish and they aligned it and mounted and balanced the tires for us it was awsome I think quick Kar was trying to make some money and thought they could take advanage of a kid well that didnt fucking happen I guess we will just deal with charter tire for now on Thanks Charter tire for you did to get my sons truck on the road read more
